  1. Edit the ITemZposition and SelectedItemZPosition. That is each item relative position to the camera (or rather how close and how far in the Z axis it is). For example SelectedItemZPosition the higher the number the closer the selected item image will appear to you in the screen. You would need to find a sweet spot that will work with the different box image shapes. It will not be perfect.
  2. @Jason Carr My request for theme specific options for Startup/Pause themes came true. Thank you kind sir! Now I wait patiently to see if marquee updates can make the next poll!
  3. Just tested and working fine. Did you not get an email with the download?
  4. Videos do not really come from Launchbox. You may get a few, but EmuMovies is actually the main source of game play videos and game theme videos. You need a paid account with EmuMovies for videos to be downloaded directly in the LB UI. Otherwise, you can use free EmuMovies account and download directly from them and save them in your \Launchbox\Videos folders.
  5. Sure if that is the only way possible for you to be able to use BB and no other way than just email support@unbrokensoftware.com and explain the issue.
  6. You cannot launch directly into Favorites or even start directly inside a single platform. You can create a favorites playlist and then set BB Startup view to be "Playlists" and then when BB starts they will only see the "Favorites" playlist to choose. You could also set BB to start in All Games view and set your Favorites to start at the top of the list. Neither of these are a clean option, but for now you cannot do exactly what you are looking for.
  7. Good to know. Do not think I have touched dreamcast roms in 2 years. One of those set it and forget it systems for me when it comes to the actual roms.
  8. I have them broken into unique platforms in one cabinet. Just keep in mind when using Demul you need to have 2 Launchbox emulators set up. You can point to the same Demul.exe for each one, but you need 2 different set-ups inside LB as the Arcade boards require different check boxes than Dreamcast. So you can create one called "Demul Arcade" and check the appropriates boxes and add all the platforms to the Associated Platforms tab. Then have just "Demul" and set that one up to run your Dreamcast platform. Both of these can point to the same singular demul.exe.
  9. Works fine for me (11.6 and still working in current beta). Been using one with LB/BB since 8bitdo released them. Easiest way is to set it to Xinput mode. (Hold X button + Start). Is it not showing up in the dropdown list?
  10. I asked what error you were getting since you said you were getting the same error. 1. You cannot be getting the same error as the other user because you do not even know what his error is as it was removed from his post. We know what his error was. 2. If LB is saying you are no longer licensed for updates then that usually means you do not have a lifetime license and your one year is up. If you believe that is wrong, the beta testing thread is not the best place for it. Emailing support as mentioned is correct. License issues are best dealt with the support email.
  11. Yes. His error has nothing to do with logging in as you do not need to log in for the license to work. It is an error we know is specific to the license issue mentioned. What is the error you are getting?
  12. Some of these systems did have a few minor rom name changes over the years. Would be helpful to know what Mame set you built this off of. Especially since it is not uncommon for us to see some still using very old Mame sets they took from Retropie builds.
  13. OK. I think we can move on from this and back to what this thread is actually about. Please no more comments in this thread about this. If you have an actual beta related response feel free to post. Thank you.
  14. I have had this happen. I think Jason put a fix in the new betas that might help. I have not had this happen in the betas. What theme are you using?
  15. You will not lose anything but alot has changed since that version. Some of your image priorities might reset so be sure to check them in Launchbox tools. You will need to make sure your Windows dependencies are updated as LB went through some framework changes. These should be installed directly in LB so be aware it will ask you to install them. If you are using a 32bit version of LB due to your OS the newest versions no longer support 32bit.
  16. This is a known issue that actually affected versions prior to 11.6 for some users. There are some fixes in the latest betas that have helped. You can either try the beta or wait for the official release.
  17. Your are going to find a lot of people are not just going to make a tutorial when asked. Most are doing emulation things in their own free time so not many are going to jump and say "Sure I will make a tutorial for you". You are going to have to start doing a lot of searching and reading. Most programs will have a FAQ and/or a forum that is always the best starting point.
  18. With the change to .Net Core 32bit support has ended. You can email support@unbrokensfotware.com and let them know what is going on. They might be able to send you an older version that still supports 32bit. But unfortunately it is no longer going to be supported. Below is in the changes for 11.7, but it was applicable in 11.6 as well.
  19. Marquees working fine in my cabinets. I do not think anything was changed in the betas that would have affected it. At least looking at the notes. Did you try to reinstall beta 11.7?
  20. No. Somethings needs to be imported to scape against and to show in LB. It does not have to be a game file. You can import a tex file as a place holder.
  21. In BigBox when in the platform level did you change the view to one that supports videos. All theme’s have different views and some do not play videos.
  22. And that is something we actually do not recommend doing with LB and BB. It has been known to cause other issues. It will cause issues with other emulators not being run as admin, can stop drag and drop functionality in LB, and we have seen other users have different issues they chased for days only to find out they were running LB as admin and that was causing their issues.
  23. If the portable is deprecated than obviously you do not download it. Then you are left with only the 2 options I mentioned. Download 32bit if you are on a 32bit OS or download 64bit if you are on 64bit OS. Again, if you do not know which one you are on ask Google and it will show you how. This is exactly what I explained in my last post.
  24. If you mean in the Additional Apps tab then no. There is currently no bulk edit for that. You can edit the platforms xml file to to a mass change, but back up the original first. I think there is even a post on doing it if you are not sure on how to do this. I will see if I can find.
  25. When you open Launchbox and select a game does the video play in the game details window (assuming you have auto play turned on and videos set to display) You do not need to update VLC it comes with LB already. All videos are stored in your \LaunchBox\Videos folder. If you are saying there are no videos in your \Launchbox\Videos folders than maybe that is why video do not play. You do not have any. Videos come from Emumovies not LB. To download directly in LB you need a paid membership with them.
