  1. So contrary to what you first said, you did not actually lose your roms, you just lost the imported data. Saying you lost your imported roms would lead many users to think LB actually deleted the rom files from your hard drive. So It I think that caused a bit of confusion. LB updates, even if you store your roms inside the LB folder never touches anything of the actual files you import. It will update its needed program files, folders, etc. but does not touch any roms or even emulators you add or might even have in a folder that has not been added. We have seen numerous reported crashes over the years and files might have been corrupted, but lost roms has not been something we have seen. Reading back through this posts I can honestly say Neil never treated you like garbage. Nor did I ever see him call you names. He did make a comment about a perceived lack of patience. That was about the most terse of the things he said in any of his posts. I do not think anymore needs to be said about who was right, wrong, rude or otherwise or it will lead to this thread spiraling. So I think this is a good stopping point for that. We can focusing on figuring out what happened and getting you back up and sorted. Why the backup would not work could be many things. One of the most common reasons we see is abrupt closing of LB/BB and the software does not have enough time to properly save the backup. With the last 4 being bad it leads me to believe you had more underlying issues than that could have led up to the LB update crash. Have you had instances in the past of LB or BB being stuck open and having to force close it or LB/BB abruptly closing on you?
  2. Download the version for your pc specs. You are either on a 32bit or 64bit operating system. If you do not know which one you are on Google can tell you how find out. Most of these simple questions you ask can be found in a few minutes using a search engine.
  3. @kalkasaurus I deleted your other thread on this same issue. This is the best place to ask since the theme dev can see it and maybe respond. Also please do not posts multiple posts/threads for the same issue.
  4. Like any game you would emulate. Add a comic reader program as an emulator. Import your comic files to whatever platform name you want to call it.
  5. Neil and DOS both told you that you can have a single core run different ways by using Content Override. Content Override will apply the core settings you set to any game launched from a certain folder. Content = Folder. So have all your gx4000 roms in one folder and cpc in another. Load a gx4000 game and set the core settings then apply the Content Override. Do the same with cpc....launch game, set core settings, apply Content Override. How you select the Content Override is right in the image below from the link you were given (it is the sentence under the bulleted item).
  6. Take a look here.
  7. Yeah, this was solved well over 2 years ago.
  8. Currently there is not a away to optimize or limit how many are downloaded. What you can do is in LB set your view to All Games. In tools there is an audit function. Run the audit and sort the 3D Box column then select all games with "0" media for 3D box and run the media download wizard to search for Box - Front on only those games.
  9. @Krakerman Would you mind keeping updates to your project in its related thread instead of making multiple posts on it? The link to it is sufficient to drive anyone interested to the thread. Thanks.
  10. No region does not matter. That does not mean all games will run or that they will run at the right speed. That questioned was answered numerous times in the PCSX2 forum which is a good source of information. Did a quick google search for pcsx2 bios and the first few sites have working bios. The first site Google linked to was archive. A pretty good go to when searching for emulation downloads.

    BigBox?????

BigBox is the graphic front end to LB. If you are not able to launch BigBox from inside LB or from the BigBox icon in your Launchbox folder check to see if your antivirus blocked the BigBox.dll.
  12. That an answer is best left to Jason. Maybe Jason does not want to over-complicate things by adding layers upon more layers. Honestly I don't blame him for not wanting to do it that way. Looking back at all the AHK modules RL had to create and maintain. That is one thing Jason mentioned he wanted to avoid.
  13. Currently not a feature in BigBox, but Jason did say marquee support would eventually get some updates. It narrowly missed out on the poll from last year. You could create an AHK that would do what you want. Would take some knowledge in AHK scripting.
  14. There is some information in this thread. Jason did mention down the line he might come back and look at bezels but he did not want to add just for the sake of adding it if it requires lots of tricks and hacks like RL did to get them to work and cause any performance issues. He wants something that will just work and as emulators update will not break the feature and require new fixes in LB.
  15. What game are you trying? All of the TTX games I have added I do not need to use typex_config as the controls can be configure right in Teknoparrot UI.
  16. I used some cheap ones similar to those sj@jx one and no issue on several builds with LB/BB as well as emulators. Got them off Amazon as well. Easyget was the brand.
  17. Check your image priorities in LB >Tools>Options and check your Background image priorities. A recent update reset priorities and some users had to go back in and set them back to their preference.
  18. These two threads I combined had the same title “Sega Triforce” and both were things related to Sega Triforce. You even have a third thread related to Sega Triforce and trouble with Mario Kart. If your having issues with Sega Triforce just keep a running post. This way all issues can be centralized, makes for a cleaner forum and other users can see issues/fixes in one spot. We do not stress a lot of forums rules, but we do ask you keep related threads together.
  19. Stop making multiple threads for related issues. I have combined your threads.
  20. LB has had this happen even prior to 11.4. LB’s and antivirus program false positives have occurred on different occasions for years. As far back as 2014. Jason has for quite some time spoke of their issues.
  21. In BigBox settings under the view options there should be an item for “Default Startup View” you can change what BigBox boots into there.
  22. Your Settings.xml is messed up. Go into your \Backups folder and open any one of the recent zipped backup files and copy the Setting.xaml from there into your \Data folder.
  23. There is no difference in content, just difference in how you pay.
  24. Thanks @kurzih I did mention in the original post this needs to be done on the GamesDB site not the forum. He misunderstood and posted in the GamesDB subforum. Thank you for providing the steps.
