  1. For in game controls you need to map that in each specific emulator. LB / BB has nothing to do with that. The mappings in the BB UI is for moving around inside of BigBox.
  2. Not sure. I do not have the version of the exe. I do have 777 and 783 and both work fine and both do not even use an AHK. Either will exit a game using only the set command mapped in the controller mappings in LB and BB. I do use a button combo. Removing by controller mapping and trying with just either of the AHK I posted worked as well. There is nothing special inside the supermodel ini you need to worry about. Can you exit other emulators ok? Are you running supermodel.exe as admin by chance?
  3. That script should work, but I would recommend changing it. Process, Close command is a hard close and on some emulators can cause issues. Try the following: $Esc:: { WinClose, ahk_exe {{{StartupEXE}}} } You can be even more specific like: $Esc:: { WinClose, ahk_exe supermodel.exe } If that does not work can you post an image of your controller automation setting in LB showing what you have mapped to Exit.

    My Setup

Please do not post the same question in multiple threads. Especially after you posted in a unique thread for the question.
  5. What AHK script are you using? There is not script in that image. Post a copy of the script so we can confirm it is good. Also if you ever need to use an AHK to close an emulator it gets pasted into the "Running AHK" tab. The "Exit AHK" tab is for having issues when exiting and emulator from the LB/BB Pause Menu.
  6. What do you mean by correct keys? There are not correct keys, you just use the default or change them to what you want. There are some set up by default and by going into the settings and looking in the Keyboard mappings section you can see what they are.
  7. In LB and BB there are dedicated controller map options you need to set in both. The controller automation is right in the settings page for both LB and BB. LaunchBox: \Tools\Options\Game Controller > Mappings BigBox: \Settings\Options\Controller Mappings (In BigBox set it for the option labeled "Close Active Window" - Do not set it for the one labeled "Exit" that is for exiting BigBox)
  8. Can you post images of how you set the AHK up in LB to run with the game?
  9. You can just import the .exe or a shortcut to your platform of choice. When the prompt pops up asking if this is a rom or such, choose the option for none of the above.
  10. Feature request should be submitted using our bitbucket site as the beta thread is for troubleshooting betas. At the top of the forum under "Help & Support" is a request a feature link. Post your request there. Then I recommend under the "Features" sub forum here post a thread about it and a link to the bitbucket. The more votes you can drive to it the better chance of implementation.
  11. LB/BB continues to be developed so I am confident what you are looking for will eventually make it. I have not looked back at my initial purchase and thought I wasted my money. LB has just got better over the months/years. I have several cabinets in my house with BB in them all and have yet to have any guests, especially during big gatherings, not enjoy playing on them or have issue finding things to play. I do not think I have ever heard anyone complain they could not find the 4 Star or higher games from 1988. Pretty much they just scroll through the platforms and playlists. However, as I mentioned if you are unhappy because what you paid for did not meet your specific needs just email support and let them know.
  12. Edit the ITemZposition and SelectedItemZPosition. That is each item relative position to the camera (or rather how close and how far in the Z axis it is). For example SelectedItemZPosition the higher the number the closer the selected item image will appear to you in the screen. You would need to find a sweet spot that will work with the different box image shapes. It will not be perfect.
  13. @Jason Carr My request for theme specific options for Startup/Pause themes came true. Thank you kind sir! Now I wait patiently to see if marquee updates can make the next poll!
  14. Just tested and working fine. Did you not get an email with the download?
  15. Videos do not really come from Launchbox. You may get a few, but EmuMovies is actually the main source of game play videos and game theme videos. You need a paid account with EmuMovies for videos to be downloaded directly in the LB UI. Otherwise, you can use free EmuMovies account and download directly from them and save them in your \Launchbox\Videos folders.
  16. Sure if that is the only way possible for you to be able to use BB and no other way than just email support@unbrokensoftware.com and explain the issue.
  17. You cannot launch directly into Favorites or even start directly inside a single platform. You can create a favorites playlist and then set BB Startup view to be "Playlists" and then when BB starts they will only see the "Favorites" playlist to choose. You could also set BB to start in All Games view and set your Favorites to start at the top of the list. Neither of these are a clean option, but for now you cannot do exactly what you are looking for.
  18. Good to know. Do not think I have touched dreamcast roms in 2 years. One of those set it and forget it systems for me when it comes to the actual roms.
  19. I have them broken into unique platforms in one cabinet. Just keep in mind when using Demul you need to have 2 Launchbox emulators set up. You can point to the same Demul.exe for each one, but you need 2 different set-ups inside LB as the Arcade boards require different check boxes than Dreamcast. So you can create one called "Demul Arcade" and check the appropriates boxes and add all the platforms to the Associated Platforms tab. Then have just "Demul" and set that one up to run your Dreamcast platform. Both of these can point to the same singular demul.exe.
  20. Works fine for me (11.6 and still working in current beta). Been using one with LB/BB since 8bitdo released them. Easiest way is to set it to Xinput mode. (Hold X button + Start). Is it not showing up in the dropdown list?
  21. I asked what error you were getting since you said you were getting the same error. 1. You cannot be getting the same error as the other user because you do not even know what his error is as it was removed from his post. We know what his error was. 2. If LB is saying you are no longer licensed for updates then that usually means you do not have a lifetime license and your one year is up. If you believe that is wrong, the beta testing thread is not the best place for it. Emailing support as mentioned is correct. License issues are best dealt with the support email.
  22. Yes. His error has nothing to do with logging in as you do not need to log in for the license to work. It is an error we know is specific to the license issue mentioned. What is the error you are getting?
  23. Some of these systems did have a few minor rom name changes over the years. Would be helpful to know what Mame set you built this off of. Especially since it is not uncommon for us to see some still using very old Mame sets they took from Retropie builds.
  24. OK. I think we can move on from this and back to what this thread is actually about. Please no more comments in this thread about this. If you have an actual beta related response feel free to post. Thank you.
  25. I have had this happen. I think Jason put a fix in the new betas that might help. I have not had this happen in the betas. What theme are you using?
