...And if i cancel Game startup then Demul launches but does nothing. The games launch perfectly fine when done directly through demul. Only naomi games launch fine via LB. The rom directories are the same in both LB and demul. What would be the solution? Thanks in advance

Everything is configured perfectly in launchbox and phoenix according the the guide and launched perfectly directly from phoenix, but when i launch a game through launchbox i get this screen. What would be the solution to this?

I got SNK Neo Geo CD full set running in RA latest mame core very nicely with the guide i posted here: Now, i would like to run Neo Geo AES in the same core. 1. What would be the steps needed in order to make it happen? 2. What should be configured in order to not break Neo Geo CD emulation?

My redump 3do games folder contains one of these games with long names, for example: "Nishimura Kyotaro Travel Mystery - Akugyaku no Kisetsu - Tokyo ~ Nanki Shirahama Renzoku Satsujin Jiken (Japan) (Disc 1)" When i tried to import my 3do library by importing the .cue file of each game in LB, a message popped: "-File path of Nishimura Kyotaro Travel Mystery - Akugyaku no Kisetsu - Tokyo ~ Nanki Shirahama Renzoku Satsujin Jiken (Japan) (Disc 1)- does not exist. Verify that the correct file name was given." Of course the file exists. I followed the instructions here in attempt to fix this: https://www.howtogeek.com/266621/how-to-make-windows-10-accept-file-paths-over-260-characters/ Tried both their patch and manual fix of both home and pro win10 methods and restarted windows. The windows still pops. I would not want to shorten the file name. What's next?

Hi, I just made a clean install of windows 10 and i would like to know from your experience, which are the most reliable and active in development for dualshock3 and dualshock4 drivers for windows 10 that work the best with the different emulators and RA cores. I used scptoolkit but i started having issues with it, windows stopped detecting controllers, tried to change some registry setting after reading some guide and it only got worse... Tried input mapper instead but i started having the same issues. this is some of the reasons why i made a clean windows install... From googling , input mapper seems to be the only ds3 and ds4 solution that still get updates (?) I don't like to mess with windows settings. I just want to play games. Looking back, even though i prefer it over the xbox controller, maybe i should have bought another xbox one controller instead of ds4. (i already had ds3 from the time i owned ps3). My controllers set up is: DS4, DS3, Hori real arcade pro 3 and xbox one controller. Thanks in advance.

Sorry if this was asked before: I'm using RA mame2003plus core. I renamed "mame 2003 (0.78)" bezel related folders to MAME2003-plus because this is how RA names that core, anyway, I got mwalk.cfg in \RetroArch\config\MAME2003-plus which contains: input_overlay = ":/overlays/ArcadeBezels/mwalk.cfg" and in \RetroArch\overlays\ArcadeBezels: mwalk.png and mwalk.cfg which contains: overlays = 1 overlay0_overlay = mwalk.png overlay0_full_screen = true overlay0_descs = 0 Yet the bezel won't show, what am i missing?

1. In retroarch "mame 2003 plus" core, i have ds4 for player 1, ds3 for player 2 and real arcade pro 3 arcade controller for player 3. For games with up to 2 players, how can we allow rap3 arcade controller (or any other third controller for that mater) to be the second player? 2. Is there any way to allow to use the trigger or shoulder buttons in ds4/ds3 when playing arcade emulated driving games like Daytona USA in model 2 emulator? Using the analog stick to accelerate and brake is pretty annoying and feels unnatural. I know its originally made for wheel but still most people play emulation with gamepads and driving games with gamepads.

Hello, i would like to accurately display my current platform video themes. I download them, press ok, but when entering the platform video themes window LB keeps the previous platform theme displayed. Although, the newly selected video platform themes will play in BB. The same happens for 5-6 other platforms. For example, the current N64DD video theme is "colorful 4K...", i change it to "emumovies nintendo 64DD (16:9)HD", check the box, press ok, go back to the video theme window to see if the new theme is displayed but the "colorful 4K..." theme is still displayed. Is there a solution to this or is it already a known bug?

First of all, i appreciate your help. Second, i did not ignore anything you wrote, but by reading my previous reply again, i found i did not elaborate myself correctly and a bit misunderstood what you wrote as well, but anyway, i understand your answer now. 1. How can i add this missing platform video so that it fades to the video and not to the black screen, like show in the youtube video presentation? 2. In case i want the platform wheel to remain static (on the right side, like in hyperspin front end), all the right side platform wheels fades, is that UR theme limitation? Would i have to change from UR to other theme? 3. In regard to mame game info launch screens, to make things clear, i want to game to launch immediately with no game info, no warnings, etc. nothing. Mame allows to skip information screen on start up but the warning screen remains. I googled it now and found that there is "no nag mame", would that be the only solution?

My above issue remains but i got a new question that hopefully someone can answer: 1. I'd like to switch from standalone mame to RA mame core for all my mame games because it has a feature which standalone mame lacks that allow to skip the mame game info screen that appears every time when launching a game (Right now i only use it for Neo Geo CD which has its own platform window in LB called "retroarch neo geo CD" with its own rules). What do i do in order to make the switch? I already updated mame core to the latest 0.215 (most roms should work even though some of the romset is for 0.214) and added my roms path t o mame ini in "...\RetroArch\system\mame\ini: rompath "...\Roms\MAME 0.215 Software List CHDs (merged)\neocd ;MAME 0.214 ROMs (merged);...\Roms\MAME 0.214 ROMs (bios-devices);...\Roms\MAME 0.215 CHDs (merged)" The games won't load in LB. What am i missing?

1&2. I did, i selected this for platforms wheel but the black screen remains. Only the game wheel seem to be affected by the game view themes, am i missing something?

1. Could you please validate your findings by comparing your roms folder to your cfg folder using a comparison tool and post your resaults here? Other than entering each of your hundrads of sega cd games to see if they show bezels which is not realistic, afaik, that is the only way to know if all roms names match all cfg names.

1&2. What do you mean by switch views? Or in other words, how do i make my BB look exactly like that youtube UR presentation? My views settings: 3. The startup video is playing for like 15 seconds or so and even towards the end of it it cannot be skipped, and after it ends there is about 40 seconds or so of black screen and only after that bb shows. How do i prevent this startup black screen transition from appearing? By the way, this forum system is the best forum system i ever used. It is just great. I feel like opening a dedicated thread to it. I'm not kidding. Kudos to the LB website developers. You are awesome. It is very usable and pleasant to look at. Hi, i got a few BB issues i would like to solve: 1. The platforms screen fades into a black screen with information on the bottom after 1 second when i stop touching the up/down with the controller, say, when changing from SMS icon to Genesis icon. I tried to change settings and also reset LB configuration and nothing seem to help, the fading occurs again. How do i prevent the platform screen from fading? 2. I have Unified Redux theme selected and i would like my platform screen to show unified redux platforms screen like shown here, how do i do that? 3. The BB startup video cannot be skipped. My bb keyboard select button is assigned to return but when i press return/Esc the start up video won't skip. How can i skip the video by pressing my keyboard and and by pressing my controller? 4. I bought MSI Gaming X GTX 1660 SUPER today and installed it. Which are the max presentation settings i should configure in BB options? For example, i chose VLC for videos. Thanks in advance!

You are right about negativity. Wasn't my intention. My apologies. It's just frustrating. @tallpr24 do you have sms fullset? Genesis fullset? Etc. If you do, would be nice if you test many games to see if you catch some that are not showing bezels. Wouldn't be surprised if you find some. Would be nice if you share your resaults here.

@DOS76 Believe me, i tried. I posted my progress here and asked questions and nobody seem to know. I got no answers. I followed the guides here. I use the latest no-intro roms for all my consoles. We don't need to change the roms names, we need to change the cfg names to match the roms so i used fatmatch for that which is recommended here and after the renaming quite a lot of games still won't show the bezels because fatmatch is ignoring these roms. Why it ignores some of the roms? Nobody seem to know. Here's the quote of my progress. Moreover, i want 100% showing bezels or else there is no point afaic to use bezels, either all show bezels or i won't use bezels at all. As i wrote, this is why i only use the bezels for mame as of now. Any clues?

If you want happy life than do not use bezels for consoles, simple as that, until someone offers a proper integration. Who knows, maybe bezels will be implemented in launchbox in the future, until then, enjoy life and game on! Also, you don't need FBA for anything if you want the best emulation because there are best emulators for each console/arcade board, like mame is the best for most arcade boards.
