Yes Sir, exactly what I do. After I add a new game, it jumps back to the top. I will check it again, maybe tomorrow, I reset explorer on the pc to see if it might be causing some of my issues. I have an issue that when LB is open and I start clicking on png files, Photos just hangs on a black screen. I can close LB and click all day long and can't get it to happen. And sadly, none of happened until this round of betas

Thx for reply, on the focus issue, you totally lost me "if the game is in the current sidebar filter", I clicked on the WINDOWS platform (that focus' ALL Windows games), added a WINDOWS game, like I have done forever...lol. Just reporting my Real World usage and findings. When scanning for new roms, I can't say I actually looked, and assumed it was getting everything. Glad to know. Suppose I got 20,000 roms to go through to look at their names now to see how many have gotten skipped... Maybe I need to go back to v10.15 and sit this out...hahaha

PC Specs: ASrock Z390 Taichi with 8086k clocked @5ghz 32GB of 3200 RAM EVGA 1080ti FTW video card 8TB internal drive (250GB for OS, the rest is D drive) Intel Optane 32GB model few other HDD's internal set up as raid for backups, All drivers up-to-date on all devices including BIOS I have been running same hardware setup for almost 2 years now I'm using LB 11.3.4 installed on Drive D (internal hdd) Roms are all stored on Drive Y (mapped drive on NAS) All media is stored on Drive Z (another mapped drive on same NAS) Still on Windows (1909) I had NET core installed I believe, but was prompted to install when LB updated to 11.3.2 if not mistaken, which I allowed. The focus issue was working in 11.3.3, but when I updated to 11.3.4 it stopped. had a lot less editing issues with the video snaps as well in 11.3.3. Anything else you can think of or might be of any help????

Same as @Chaotic Viral

A couple things I have found not working in Beta 4: 1. When adding a game manually, it isn't focusing on game after you hit OK 2. When scanning for new roms, it is ignoreing games with () if there is a game with the same name without () IE: LB finds Blade Runner and will let you add it, but it doesn't show Blade Runner (version 2), I have to manually add them

Have you imported and scraped your stuff since beta release or already had it set up before before this beta release. Are you using media folders outside of the default folders?

@Chaotic Viral I am having the same problem

Sorry Jason, there is no error, LB just disappears without saving anything. I did notice it starts to show the tiny bar at the top, like its doing the refreshing portion, it goes maybe 1/2 way and poof, LB is gone and have to re-open it. UPDATE: @Jason Carr Addde log file for ya, I think it was the last one with crash Debug 2020-07-29 12-55-35 PM.log UPDATE 2: @Jason Carr Hey Jason, here are a few more log files, shows how often beta-4 is crashing on me now.... 12 times in just a 2-3 hour period. Logs.7z

Here is another issue. i am using Beta-4, but it was in Beta-3 as well. Scanned in collection of Furtue Pinball a few days back, been working on posters for them. Had a bunch of video snaps already and put them in my video folder. When LB imported, some of the videos were picked up and assigned to game and work. But if the name of the video is a bit different than LB has named the game and you try to edit the game, LB crashes every time whhen you hit OK. Here is an example: Name of the rom - Sweet Hearts.fpt Name of the video - Sweet Hearts (Gottlieb) (1963).mp4 Other than scanning in the roms, LB found the video on its own. But if I try to edit the game, it will crash every time I click on OK unless I rename the video to Sweet Hearts-01.mp4. This was not a problem in the past for me. Like I said, was in previous beta release as well ADDED INFO: Lot more crashing when editing and videos are already there. Bout to go back to beta 3

They are working for me, they apparently don't work with the Future Pinball emulator. Thanks for all the replies everyone

Are Pause screens working? I can't get any of them to work, not even Default. Tried remapping a couple different combinations, na-dah....

@Jason Carr Just wanted to let you know that the audio issue from video snaps continuing is still happening, not near as often, actually only happened to me once since the 11.3 beta update today.
-
Yes Sir, only one causing problems are the Retro theme ones. And thanks for the mouse tip!
-
I checked to see if I had any problems with Dolphin, turns out, I have a problem with EVERY emulator. I had to disable the "Game Startup Screen" for every emulator. If enabled, I loose my mouse cursor, I see a 2nd process for LB as Startup running, but nothing else ever happens. Even if I kill LB, only way to get mouse cursor back is reboot PC. UPDATE: Found the problem, it was actually the Startup Theme being used

I am not sure but is looking like a good possibility another issue, open LB and using the context menu, click on "edit" any game. Leave that open and navigate to your image olders and select a Clear Logo folder with png files in it. Then just start clicking on some on some of the png files and open them with Windows Photo, most of the time they open correctly, but sometimes it only opens a black box (Windows Photo), when this happens, if you close the "edit" game dialog in LB, the png appears in the black box (windows Photo). Can anyone else confirm this?

I would suggest to just make a copy of your LB folder, then install. That way you can revert back by just changing the copied directory's name
-
Just wanted to add something else that is occurring for me, I am editing posters of one of my platforms, one at a time, today it seems the more I edit, the more LB just keeps shutting down on its own, I will click OK, then poof, LB is gone. Have to re-open it and start again, might do 5 games, might do 30 games, then POOF again....hahaha
-
You should be able to install from your LB updates folder
-
This post should be moved to the 11.3-beta-1 thread, I mean the entire issue, not just this single post

I agree with this part 100%, I am having to make a copy of the video folder before I do any work on a new system imported, go through the system and then go back again to try to fix just the videos so I don't have them deleted on me. If you have 2 games trying to use the same video from the import process, and go to edit one of them, that is the one it gets attached to. If you click the Remove, poof it is gone from both games when it is deleted It would be so much better if when you click the remove button, you were given an option to either permanently remove it or just remove it from the game you are editing. Or just add another button on the dialog to "Not Use" or something

I found if I uncheck the item, I can move it, but not the items checked. Thanks for the reply

-
I am not able to move media items up or down in the settings. When you move the mouse off of them, they are not staying selected.
-
I am getting this error as well, on both same HDD (games are not in LB folder) as LB and NAS drives

I am using VLC v3.0.11. I have a hunch, but not been able to confirm it yet. I think it may be something happening during the import and scraping process and having tables (roms) with similar names. For example, I have a couple different versions of Jaws tables, one is named maybe "Jaws" and another named "Jaws (Ultimate)". Sometimes there may be 3 or 4 versions of the same table. When LB scrapes, most of the time it will add them as say just "Jaws" if it is found in the LB DB or how ever many version there might be. If I have a video snap already in the video folder, and it may be named Jaws (Williams).mp4, sometimes they will both use it. Then I come along and try to edit them. I edit the "Jaws (Ultimate)" to say that, so I know the difference when I am browsing them, I am also creating the custom posters for each of them. When I choose OK after editing everything, it renames the video snap to something like "Jaws (ULTIMATE).de468703-b26d-4d37-84bf-b395bab12200-01.mp4" with all the extra characters. I don't know if this has something to do with it or not. Or maybe if the "(" and ")" in the names have anything to do with it or even a combination, really don't know...maybe this will give you some ideas???
