Yes, I have installed version 13.8, 13.7 and, 13.6 and 13.5 but the problem persists. I probably didn't notice it because I haven't played mame much in the last few months, I was interested in other games and I was making the move. so I don't know exactly which version this problem stemmed from. What is certain is that I have owned mame 0.235 for two years without ever changing anything and associated Bibgox since forever. I've moved my last 3 posts to another thread but I'm asking everyone please to help me out because I've already done a lot of testing but I can't figure out what mame does and especially what it leaves in memory after closing. ❤️

I'm doing some tests and I've discovered that if I press WIN+D BigBox is minimized correctly but if I start a mame game and then return to BigBox, with the key combination WIN+D it is no longer minimized, it is forced to full screen, I can't use the computer in any way, I'm forced to close BigBox .... this is why i have problems running other games after mame. Please take a look at this problem and give me an answer, I'm asking if it's enough here or should I post the request in the help form ?

guys I have dozens of different emulators and I start them all one after the other in bigbox without any problems. If I start up mame I play without any problems but the annoyance comes when I return to bigbox, it runs badly, the feeling is that it's weighed down, the fps when navigating between games is jerky and if I start other emulators after mame they have serious stability problems.

I should point out that I haven't changed mame in years, I'm at version 0. 235 for a long time and i've never had any problems with bigbox, however recently it happens that when i play mame and then return to bigbox it's all weird, it seems that bigbox runs at lower fps also if i start other emulators i have serious problems, for example hypseus singe starts minimized under bigbox and there's no way to raise it, even with alt tab it stays below, another example is supermodel, if i play after mame it on exit crashes bigbox, i have to restart the whole windows system and restart bigbox, avoid playing mame and play all other emulators, this is frustrating and i don't understand why In this example video I show you that I start dragon's lair without a problem, afterwards I start mame without a problem, afterwards I start dragon's lair again and bigbox takes the focus and does not leave it any more Please note: the loading times of dragon's lair are correct, I set a long time to cover the initial black 2023-11-30 02-35-33.mkv

Yes I had thought about it but to put it in all emulators and games, there are thousands, you cannot. Looks like an ahk script, I ask you if it is not possible to add an option where the script pauses while bigbox is not in focus. With the right mouse button I see that it is possible. Also, I would like to point out that I did a lot of tests with the folder "C:\ProgramData\devreorder" but it did not work for me, and I came to the conclusion that my folder where it works perfectly is "C:\Users\*USER*\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ProgramData\Devreorder" I have no idea for what strange reason my Windows goes to write in that folder but it works (maybe because I have a dual boot)

wow it's very nice. this software is very interesting and has a lot of potential. do you think it could be turned into a launchbox plugin? i would like it to be active only when bigbox is maximized. how could it be done? During games i don't want it to intervene because although it is started as administrator for some emulators it causes the game to be minimised, also it is not needed during the game but is needed before starting it.

randomly bigbox crashes without errors when exiting a game. it simply closes without giving any sign, I find myself back on my desktop and am forced to restart the frontend

No files are deleted; it's not the applications that disappear, but the possibility of accessing the section in BigBox. Everything works regularly in Launchbox. To help you understand better, my regular game page has this structure: GIOCA ESEGUI CON APPS/VERSIONI AGGIUNTIVE STAR RATING: NESSUNO FERMA VIDEO ...Etc... etc... With the new beta, my game page becomes: GIOCA ESEGUI CON STAR RATING: NESSUNO FERMA VIDEO ...Etc... etc... This applies to all games; I have thousands, I've checked many, and they all have different types of applications. Some point to ROMs, some to AHK, some to EXE, BAT, etc. They are all different, remain intact, and work perfectly in Launchbox; I haven't lost any data. However, installing directly over the previous version 13.8, everything returns to normal in BigBox. The pic I posted is of the regular 13.8

It is not necessary because in the new beta the title of the 'additional applications' section disappears for all games, even for older ones that were fine. This is despite the setting being enabled in the BigBox options. It is not the content of the apps that disappears, but the very title of the section.

Hi, Is it possible to have a wish list of pending games of my choice? For example for films I use the watchlist section of Plex and it is very useful. I always have scattered notes where I jot down games I need to see whether or not to buy in the future, but I often forget everything and they get lost, I'd like to have one place i.e. a Launchbox playlist. Do you plan to make a dedicated section or do you recommend I create "DUMMY ROMS" and make a mock platform? thanks you in advance 🤗

This a pic from CleanBG (13.8 version) To show you that it is not there I would have to reinstall beta 13.9 and I honestly don't trust it. In the picture you see it correctly because I went back to 13.8 and it works

ok fine. i have both softwares, i don't have the flag for one or the other. Having a cabinet with arcade control panel. I honestly don't feel like unplugging it every time I want to use player 1 with a joypad, so I prefer the combination of controllers in 1 I can play on the fly as player1 with any joystick I want to connect without any problem or configuration for anything, I just have that and it already does everything I can even connect them while they are already inside the game and nothing happens as Windows does not understand the disconnection ... @FuzzykropolisDs4Windows is perfect for you

of course! If you have problems getting it to work, try pairing the Nefarious HidHide Configuration Client tool together. If you only have recent console controllers you can also use DS4windows

Here we talk about playing via usb adapters with the original controller of any old console by switching between games via emulators.

i also use ds4windows for my ps4 controller but i am not sure if it does the job our friend requires. it supports very old joysticks with adapters ? Can you combine many controllers into one ? If you keep 10 controllers plugged in can you make sure you use the one you want as player 1 in each game or does windows detect 10 ? x360ce does it
