  1. I am happy to upload all of what I have as I have added artwork to everything. Especially all of my SEGA Mega Drive categories.
  2. That is exactly right. What two consenting adults do behind closed doors is up to them, bow-chicka-bow-wow.
  3. I had to search in quite a few places to find them all. Separating them into regions is easy with any full set as the ROMs normally have their region suffixes which you can easily sort via the search function in file-explorer as you know. I cannot remember exactly where I obtained a full Genesis set which had nearly everything as it was so long ago but I think it was either isozone or piratebay. As for stuff like Homebrews I had to source them individually. Adding all the artwork was the most time consuming and pain in the buttocks: Thanks very much for that. I do not think I will personally add those as the Russian titles are normally just title or sprite hacks and the NonGood seems to be a bit of a mash up of everything. I like Sonic and SOR hacks as those are great games and normally done pretty well but those Russian ones as interesting as some are are pretty crappy, haha. Plus, it would be a royal pain in the pooper to seek and obtain the appropriate artwork for them and my OCD won't like that.
  4. SEGA Gen/MD, SMS & GG Platform Logos View File I like to split some of my systems up into different platforms. As the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive is my favorite system I have split it up into what you see here. The platforms are: SEGA Genesis SEGA Mega Drive (Brazil) SEGA Mega Drive (China) SEGA Mega Drive (Europe) SEGA Mega Drive (Homebrew) SEGA Mega Drive (Japan) SEGA Mega Drive (Prototypes) SEGA Mega Drive (Sega Game Toshokan) SEGA Mega Drive (Sonic Hacks) SEGA Mega Drive (SOR Hacks) SEGA Mega Drive (Translations) SEGA Mega Drive (Unlicensed) I will also add my SEGA Master System logos, which are: SEGA Master System (Brazil) SEGA Master System (Europe) SEGA Master System (Japan) SEGA Master System (Korea) SEGA Master System (USA) & for good measure, the SEGA Game Gear ones I created: SEGA Game Gear (Europe) SEGA Game Gear (Japan) SEGA Game Gear (Translations) SEGA Game Gear (USA) Submitter Dane Submitted 08/11/2018 Category Platform Clear Logos

  6. Yes I am happy to share my logos and videos. I will upload them shortly for you. I used to have a decent collection of actual physical shitty Russian games for the MD back when I used to collect instead of before going the digital download route. I wish there was good artwork available for all the Korean Samsung releases as they look lovely but due to them not being common I doubt anyone will ever do them. I would be interested in what Russian hacks 'n' stuff you have. What are these NonGood ones you have?
  7. I too like to organize some of my systems into different platforms. Here are my SEGA Mega Drive categories for your interest: I have made a clear logo and video for each platform. There are 12 platforms all up just for the Mega Drive. You can see them in more detail here: My Systems.xlsx
  8. Well that is pretty damn impressive then so kudos to you. I did have about 70k and I would say that 40% - 50% did not work so I downsized to 35k. I got sick of fiddling with systems instead of just playing. My damn OCD won't let me have anything that is not perfect and my inability to get many things not working clashes with that. How many platforms does a 100k setup have?
  9. Yes Japanese releases really can be quite poor on LB. I am going through 500 - 600 Japanese Saturn games at the moment and I would say that 60% - 75% have no metadata and media for them. Though I know there are THOUSANDS of games and although the LB database is greatly lacking I know it is very good too. I try to look at it as a glass half full kind of way. I have 240 3DS titles and most of them were all good so I guess I should say a big thank you to you for that.
  10. I have been using that for years to rename the music I download and since doing the whole emulation thing have been using it for that too. It is such a versatile and user-friendly program, I would be lost without it.
  11. That is a heck of a lot of games. What percentage would you say you have working?
  12. Yeah the DS is one of two systems I have left to organise. The duplicates in that set are a pain in the butt. I’m also deleting any Korean, French, Spanish etc and leaving USA & UK only. I might make a seperate category for Japanese, not sure yet. Overall it didn’t correctly scrap a fair amount of the games, did you have that issue with yours?
  13. You are welcome, for systems supported by MAME/MESS see here which will get you the first part of the command line you need in LB and then here to get the second part (just in case you hadn't seen them before)
  14. If you have acquired a full MAME romset the BIOS file(s) should be in there like the MSX's (hx10.zip). If for some reason it is not you can find it online and put it in there or put it in any folder you like as long as you add that folder to the directories in whatever version of MAME you have. Here is mine: As you can see I have different folder added but my MSX BIOS (hx10.zip) is just in my regular MAME ROMs folder.
  15. I use standard MAME64 with my Arcade games and MAMEUI64 for everything else: For whatever reason MAMEUI64 seems to like all that better than regular ol' MAME.
  16. All my MSX and MSX2 games work, at least the ones I have tried anyway. I did try Retroarch as that is always my first preference but I too could not get past the blue screen with black logo. I then tried MAME and it works perfectly. The command for my MSX games is hx10 -cart and MSX2 is hx34 -cart1. I have the MAME 0.200ROMs set and the 0.200 ROMs bios-devices. MAME is great with the MSX, there are no commands needed to type in game for loading and most of the games controls are very straight forward with most being the spacebar as the main button.
  17. Thank very much for the offer, I appreciate it. I have all my 500+ MSX & MSX2 games completes now regarding boxes and screenshots even though the quality of some aren’t too good. I removed the MSX2+ and MSX turbo R from my LB as there wasn’t many games for them in my set.
  18. That is actually known as Weber's Law, and it is depressing. I have all the time in the world for bleepy bloopy 8 bit games now as long as they load quickly, haha. Anyone who says that the long load times of old computer games is one of their endearing charms can go step on a poop. If someone could have magically given me the option as a kid to have those old games load instantaneously I would have said "yes" of course. There is no way I would have said "no leave the long load times as it is great like this". The C64 was one of my first gaming experiences along with the IBM and 2600 so I am definitely going to give this a try. That is an awesome thing you are doing with that by the sounds of it. I just spent the last 4 days excruciatingly manually adding screenshots and box art of all of my 530 MSX games in LB so I appreciate the effort put into anything like your C64 project.
  19. I too ditched my Atari ST library as I could not get them working. It is frustrating watching a YouTube tutorial where someone goes through all the steps and it just works without any drama for them. Then you do the exact same thing as per their instructions and it does not work. I have never tried or even heard of the Steem emulator. Most of the old computer systems I either couldn't get working or for the most part they worked but I could not navigate the commands to load/run the games. I think I have about 6 computer systems left on there that work without drama. The most I want working is the C64, I got it working the other night on MAME but only with the tape files and they just take too long to load. This modern era of having everything at the snap of a finger as ruined my patience as embarrassed as I am to admit it.
  20. I had about 70k. Over the last few weeks I got rid of everything I could not get working properly which were mainly old computer systems. I was just getting carried away with adding everything I could and got sick of the constant tinkering trying to get stuff work even though it was a little bit fun. So I culled everything down to 29k now and expect it to go no higher than 35k after I ad more Dreamcast, PS2 and MS-DOS.
  21. Haha, I don't know about that. I'm 100% straight and that photo made me question my sexuality.
  22. My Hori does have a switch enabling PS4 mode and I already had it on that. I had never heard of joy2Key but after downloading it and giving it a try I left everything as is but mapped "button 13" which is the Hori FC's home button to "4" and bingo, I can now close ALL of my emulators. Thank you very much for the recommendation.
  23. I have mentioned the Hori Fighting Commander Pro lately in another thread here on the forum. Though, instead of hijacking another thread, because this is pertaining to something specific and so if anyone else in the future might search for the same thing I thought I would create a new thread. Anyway, I now have a Hori Fighting Commander Pro and it is amazing! Retroarch whilst requiring manual mapping recognizes it just fine and of course it is a breeze to map in MAME. Though for all other standalone emulators I cannot close the emulator with the Hori Fighting Commander Pro. I have Controller Companion and DS4 on my computer but neither shows the Hori Fighting Commander Pro, at least not automatically. With my PS4 controller I had the home button mapped as "4" on the keyboard through Controller Companion as that is what button closes all my emulators because that was the right flipper button (exit button) on my X-Arcade Tankstick which is what I used at the very beginning of using LaunchBox/BigBox. So does anyone know how to create a profile for the Hori Fighting Commander Pro with DS4 or know how to map buttons any other way for/on it?
