Okay..so I don't play a ton of Wii..but got the RetroLink GameCube controls set as: B = B A = A L = 1 R = 2 Start = + Y = - X = C Z = Z And pretty much everything else is by the main left stick. I will change things around later if requested. RetroLink.ini

I've heard many mixed reviews on various N64 controllers. I been thinking of getting the ones that Bluetooth though, but seems they jacked the price on them recently. I often hear issues about the analog stick turning too hard on the slightest nudge and all that to where playing Racing games are a pain.

I haven't really played much with the original..but we have the one that lights up blue. Seems fine to use though. I just don't know how it'll read if using one with an adapter though. The RetroLink reads things as Button 1 and all that instead of Button A & etc like you would with something in the range of an XBOX 360. XBOX One, or PS3/PC Afterglow controller reads them

I got my Fiancee a Wired Retro-Link GameCube USB Controller a few Christmases ago for Dolphin, and I think I have things set for it to play Wii. I may be able to try upload the settings if needed or interested

Yeah..I've heard so many things from EmuCR being odd and a mess at times. I forgot what I got all from them or still use these days with everything I got, but I've been trying to look around for answers and updates via Google to where at times I come across Reddit posts and things like that to even see what YouTube might have on the issue. I also wonder if some regional versions are causing that brightness too, and if that's somewhat the case then I might end up removing them even though I try to have everything.

On mine I can get it to work on both. You have to go into the settings for each and make such you have it switched to X instead of Mouse too which it times can get a little confusing since Mouse Mode uses the Right Analog while LaunchBox uses the Left Analog when switched to X. I don't know how much difference things are on Win 2, but I guess it's somewhat the same even though I don't know if it changed in screen resolution or not because on mine I tend to have issues getting some PC Games and Project 64 to run at Fullscreen. Also Kega Fusion I can't get in Fullscreen to where pretty much everything at most on mine runs through RetroArch even though the controls for playing N64 through RetroArch I find annoying in how they mapped the C-Buttons. I don't really do Discord and Reddit, but hopefully with the few people that have the first or 2nd model of GPD Win will kinda come by this

I've switched from Handy to Mednafen until things ran too fast on my projector setup. I switched to MAME, and some games work better both on and off projector while some cause MAME to freeze up. Like all versions of Pinball Jam are so buggy through MAME to where the ball leaves the table and floats off into a black void and freezes up to a pink and purple static on some versions. Seems also on MAME some Prototypes refuse to work through it as well. Like I guess when it comes to the whole Lynx collection you may have to use various Emulators for each title and hope they all work out. I'm noticing about the same when I made to switch with Atari 7800 from ProSystem to MAME where some games are better and some end up buggier than before. Part of me wants to go back to Handy, even though the Fullscreening is a mess to deal with when you wanna just Launch a game and have it Fullscreen on its own

I'm hoping they come out with a newer version since it seems some games will make your screen get super-bright after you exit to where you have to restart just to get your brightness back to normal. I think I seen somewhere the person behind it wasn't aware of it and has yet to know how to fix it, but I hope somewhere down the line there will be a new version that fixes that or someone else will find a way to help it, because I have yet to find a solution that doesn't require restarting

The issues I'm having as of now with DEMUL is: >SEGA Hikaru used to run at times, but now all it does it Launch me to the Emulator with a ROMs list to where when I choose the game, it gives me an error of something missing >Most of my Naomi 2 stuff doesn't play unless it's Club Kart, and only so few regular Naomi games don't play as it says something is missing >Can't get it to play through my projector setup. All it does it stretch out to a white window once it launches, but when I unhook the HDMI, I can play them just fine >Is there any way to set controllers individually to just a certain game instead of having to make more than one copy of DEMUL? I'm using v111117 but also using v0.7 Alpha for just Marvel vs Capcom 2 since the Download came with it. v0.7 Alpha doesn't want to work with anything else but MvC2 though.

Not sure how many of you have the first model or even the 2 model of this handheld gaming laptop or not, but felt for those that did could come together and speak more about it. I have to say LaunchBox & BigBox do very well on it, but the big issue I'm having is the battery in which it dies in less time than the gauge and has started to swell in the case to where I so need to find a replacement battery. I've been searching around for one, but came across mostly other forum posts giving a runaround saying not to trust this place or that place or whatever. So hopefully in this thread we can figure out things about the battery and whatever else related to this handheld that we can trade knowledge on in making our experience with it more fun than before

We got a Random Game command for LaunchBox and I guess as far as Random goes for BigBox is you hold a button for things to spin and land on something random, but I too would like to have a Random button on both or even have a way I can press a button on the controller. I hardly pay attention to the Polls too, but I know really need to get on to doing so though. I thought I heard something of a way you can import a URL to open up as well. I think you Import it as None of the Above instead of a ROM though.

Well I know mostly EmuMovies has things really on point for the most when it comes to knowing a title from a different region by name which I really enjoy. I just hope the LaunchBox database will be just as accurate and with more stuff than EmuMovies too. I try when I can to help get more stuff in the database though, even if it's something I made from scratch that can't just be Googled about and all.
-
Sometimes I think we need an easier way to merge some data within the community database. Like I know at times the same title may have a great Clear Logo or Background that doesn't appear on the other Platform version of it. Now I also kinda wish the Regional stuff was set to if it has a European or Japanese name that it doesn't automatically try call it the United States version of the game. I'm having to manually go back and fix things like this to where even I'm a bit confused on what to do about all the Japanese or European versions of things all the way when I submit them to the database when the title has a completely different name and everything. For now I just save what comes from the Database and just manually Import them on the other Platform versions of a title

I'm still interested in something sort of like that, but where I can add a Clear Logo and all that to a Series or Developer, Publisher & etc like I can already do with the Platforms or Platform Categories in BigBox. I have much of that ready to go when it is available instead of just making a Playlist. I know it may be way low on the list, but it's something worth anticipating I'm sure

Good to know I'm not the only one coming across that. I think that Ambulance game is getting weird in speed though, like it starts faster than I remember, and then slows down while actually in play. I don't know if it's due which version of Supermodel I'm using or I'm doing things via i3 on my Laptop. I had one version previous to what I'm using now, but Avast deleted my exe for it, and I had to find another way to get some version of Supermodel that Chrome wouldn't stop me on too. I think using a different version might be why things got weirder than I remember too.

I wish I could somehow assign each to a driver letter or something at least. I've been searching like crazy for a solution from Google to YouTube and so on. I figured our community here would have some that actually have a cool tip on something like that. These controllers are amazing other than getting mixed up like that. I at times think of going the Bluetooth route though

So I own 2 Wireless PS3/PC Controller from Afterglow that use a USB dongle to play on both. Thing is I can't always get both to stay Player 1 or Player 2 on different things I play. Controller 1 might play as Player 1 on one Emulator or PC Game, but will then act as Player 2 on something else and vise-versa. Not sure what to do since even how I configure my controllers to everything I have Controller 1 set to everything in Player 1 yet still at times will end up reacting to Controller 2 as Player 1. Sometimes I get it all set right until I turn the PC off and things go back to Controller 1 as Player 2 to where I try ejecting the USB of each out and try a different slot, even turn off the controllers and place them in a different slot and turn them on and so on until hopefully it all works as it should. So with that being said, does anyone happen to know a permanent solution for getting Controller 1 to stay as Player 1 and Controller 2 as Player 2 on these identical controllers without any further conflict on Windows 10? They respond to controls as if they were XBOX 360 or XBOX one in button placements just in case the details of that needed to be noted

Anyone else noticing some games at an odd rate of speed in SuperModel to where even games like Virtua Fighter 3 cause characters to go faceless with only the eyeballs left? Not sure what happened or how to get things right for some of those games. Sometimes it's cool have a game go a bit faster. but not when you have 5 secs to pick a character instead of 10 secs & etc.
-
Hopefully I can find a Thread here without making one then
-
I figured so..and have you also experienced the weird change in speed and all that in some of these Model 3 games? Not sure we have a Thread on this yet in the Forums since I'd hate to make a Thread of something already spoken of for the I-Don't-Know-How-Manyeth time without overlooking

So it seems the SuperModel emulator for SEGA Model 3 is having issues in BigBox to where when I exit a game you can't do anything else you Windows Key and click BigBox in the Toolbar. I've tried hiding the console startup window and disabled the Shutdown Screen too, but still having this issue. The other issue I'm having with it is most likely not LaunchBox/BigBox related, but some games now are speeding up or catching a random slow down to where even games like Virtua Fighter 3 have even caused characters to go faceless with only the eyes showing. Not sure whoelse has experienced all these, but hopefully we as a community and with @Jason Carr's help we can maybe get this fixed

So I found an issue on my Laptop that seems to be when I run MAME 0.207 and come back from it in BigBox I'm met with a black screen that I have to Windows Key and close it. Once I close that black screen I can't Launch anything else after that unless I leave BigBox. I also noticed on my GPD Win that the cursor stutters about in movement around LaunchBox for while until it kinda brings itself to a proper speed until I stop moving it around to where the cursor starts get have a slow response yet again,

Any chance on the Gameplay Screenshots getting fixed for when a Video is playing in the Background on BigBox? I think that's the one thing that's messing with me at this point
