OK fair enough, was just a random thought I had. Is it just called startup.mp4 in the videos folder, or is it in a startup folder inside the video folder?

So I have an evil plan. TDRE team apparently cracked the 7.15 release. What I'm gonna do is put up a new version of 7.15 that identifies the crack and then tells people to come to the forums and get help, which will allow us to easily identify pirates. Teehee.

I'll let y'all know once I have it all ready.

This will become more and more of a issue going forward, the program is getting better and better all the time, so is of course getting more mainstream attention, and as its a paid program, that just entices a certain demographic who's sole aim is to crack programs.

I am sure Jason will come up with a solution, even as painful as having to resend keys in favor of better encryption.

Nah, I will never inconvenience existing customers in order to battle piracy. But yes, I do have a solution.

It's officially out. I won't post the actual error message here but we'll watch it unfold. Apparently the crack isn't really that popular yet though (thankfully).

Can we haz a delay control for transitions:TransitionPresenter and a sound transitions:TransitionPresenter that links to the sound options with said delay control as well?

Can we also haz easing animation in next release?

Maybe will be on the next poll which will be coming soon. Jason mentioned earlier today that Retroarch Netplay and PDF reader are the next two items to be done before the poll.

He also mentioned some big ticket items people have asking for that have a good chance of being on it. I don't wanna say anything beyond that because if they don't make it on the poll I don't  people mad at me for saying they would be.

The best solution is the one thing that you are already doing. In the long term that's regular updates with new features. That way the frustration level alone added with that one feature people have been waiting for in the next version where the crack no longer works.

It's from Skullgirls haha. The devs added that message in for pirated versions, so when people would ask "Hey, what does this mean?" the dev would respond with "Oh, it means that you shouldn't pirate our game."

Just my opinion, but I don't think this is needed. A user posted an awesome solution for a PDF reader somewhere in these forums. It uses Sumatra PDF and he posted some lines to enter in a config file which makes it lovely and full screen. The only thing the user needs to do is set up an Xpadder or JoyToKey to auto set your controls when it opens and associate PDF files with the program. Anyone with half a brain can do it (That's me) ;-)

Ahh that's the one. I've got the game but have only played it for 5 minutes lol. I saw that on a "genius anti pirate measures" video on YouTube. I never knew such things existed lol.

Xpadder and equivalent doesn't work over Steam Link (unless you use some additional software called VirtualHere which has its own share of issues), which makes that a non-answer for that scenario. This should just be something integrated directly into LB/BB.

Yeah there are a bunch of things that can be worked around but if they can be directly implemented into Launchbox it makes everyones life easier in the end.
