Hey, All.
I'm a new member of the community, and I love my BigBox setup! One of my favorite aspects of this frontend is the smooth integration with EmuMovies, a website that yields great videos for each platform on my system.
In my excitement for new emulators, I recently installed Xenia (the XBOX 360 emulator), only to discover that neither EmuMovies nor the LaunchBox Games Database has a wide selection of XBOX 360 platform videos. This is understandable, as Xenia has limited emulation at the moment, so there probably isn't an urgent need for this type of media.
However, if you're like me and enjoy adding platforms to your setup, it feels nice to include everything you can. For this reason, I created a very basic XBOX 360 platform video, using a similar style as that found in the EmuMovies Unified set. This video was tested at 1920x1080 resolution and looks decent alongside the other videos in the EmuMovies set.
The platform video contains thirty (30) seconds of footage from each of the following XBOX 360 games:
Halo 4 Forza Horizon 2 Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts Please note that the Xenia emulator does not currently run these games, so the footage was taken from actual XBOX 360 gameplay. I realize this type of video will not be for everyone, but if you find it useful, please feel free to integrate it into your setup.
Here's to hoping Xenia makes a lot of progress in the future so that we can experience these awesome games again.

Sony Playstation JAPAN 16:9 1080p Platform Theme

I tend to keep my Translated and Japanese exclusive games separate from my North American/PAL region games in BigBox and have created this Sony Playstation (Japan) platform theme video. I Wanted to share with the community in case anyone else does the same with their collections and could use this in their setup. I do plan on redoing the video snap used for this theme in better quality so I will be updating this at a later date.
Two different versions to choose from: Game Audio and Remixed Audio

The Year 199X: System Intro Videos

These are system/platform intros that I've made with the primary intention of being used with the CityHunter theme which can be found here. Thanks to CriticalCid and keltoigael for this theme!
The file sizes are large, but a high bitrate was necessary in order to avoid these turning into muddy macroblock messes. The addition of digital noise, smoke, VHS damage artifacts, etc. adds a lot of visual information that necessitates a higher than normal bitrate in order to avoid compression artifacts. Believe me, I tried multiple lower rates and they looked awful.
These need to be placed in Launchbox -> Videos -> Platforms.
Keep in mind that the files may need to be renamed slightly based on the names used in your library - if your platform is named "Panasonic 3DO" rather than just "3DO" you'll need to rename the video accordingly to match the name of the platform in your library.

For full effect, I'd also recommend putting some good Synthwave tracks in your Launchbox -> Music -> Background folder and enabling background music in Big Box. You can find a lot of good stuff in the genre on Bandcamp and New Retro Wave's Youtube channel. Here's my current playlist of tracks I'm using in my library if you want some inspiration:
