SNES Platform Preservation
By harryoke
Game preservation is a passion of mine. I have been preserving Roms for well over 30 years.
These are works of art , just like movies . If we lost classic movies like "The wizard of oz" forever, future generations would lose a piece of history.
We are protecting these Games and celebrate the diverse and awe inspiring joy that they have given us.

Amstrad GX4000 Platform Video
By mcfilmmakers
Please subscribe to my Youtube Channel!
My work blends a few influences relevant to the platform while showcasing the machine itself along with the games the platform ran:
1) Music made using sounds available on the platform (where possible)
2) The platform's boot screen (if possible)
3) Commercial influences usually in the form of the platform's marketing jingle.
4) The platform's packaging.
In this way, the platform video itself gives an accurate interpretation of what the platform is, was marketed as, and what it looked and sounded like.
In this video, the beginning displays a blue screen followed by a flicker/jitter common when starting a GX4000 game. An animated box art screen follows which slowly transitions into a 3D interpretation of the space pilot art followed by a Star Wars inspired jump into hyperspace to reveal game play footage.

Amstrad CPC Platform Video

The Amstrad CPC platform obviously doesn't come in a box (other than a boring brown cardboard box that is), so this time, I decided to let the system speak for itself for you all to enjoy.

refried Refried Theme Platform Video Set
A set of 155 (with more to come) platform videos, that I have created to match perfectly with my Refried theme. I have used the same character,Background, and border art in the videos, that is in the theme, for the majority of the videos. I am sure it's obvious where the influence came from for the theme, but, this whole thing started out as an alternate version to the Unified theme, which sort of took off and became something slightly different overall. While I do have plans for about 60+ more videos to add to this set,I am afraid I cannot take requests,at least until the project,as a whole, is completed. A special Thank you to @RetroNi for allowing me to use his white bordered logo set, with a few changes, for the titles in these videos...As well as @CriticalCid for giving me the unspoken inspiration to even start this project in the first place!

American Laser Games Platform Video

The American Laser Games platform obviously doesn't come in a box, so this time, I decided to let the games speak for themselves (literally) with footage I found from across the web, put it together in a simple montage and bring it to you all to enjoy. I recreated the Mad Dog McCree intro in HD for your pleasure.

The arcade platform obviously doesn't come in a box, so this time, I decided to slap together some footage I found from across the web, put it together in a solid piece and bring it to you all to enjoy. I don't take any credit for any of the rendering at all, just the editing.
