    This is fantastic... I just purchased a 7" IPS screen to upgrade my arcade panel and this looks perfect especially being able to play video. I have an LCD marquee and thought i would have to mirror the 2 to get video on it but problem solved. Do you know if there are mame game video's for the marquee screen in the? I see a lot of the newer pc game vids. Cheers

    Yes Please... I have a custom resolution and the Theme Creator helps create my themes to fit just right.

    Hi I haven't had a lot of time in the last few months to tinker with my cabinet but I wanted to ask before I waste my time doing trial and error. I know I can show video on my marquee monitor for individual games but I also would like to do the same when i scroll through my multiple playlist's which are all under my Arcade platform. Thanks in advance Rob

    The new version of theme creator you are ale to create a video transition to a static image and many other other elements. Here's an rough example I created for my cabinet marquee screen. I look forward to playing with it more in the coming days. example.mp4

    So it looks like the ability to add videos to playlist marquee's isn't available in the Theme Creator and hopefully it gets added in the next update as it will be a great addition to my cabinet.

    Hey All I created a mame marquee view for my cabinet in the Community Theme Creator and am pretty happy with the way it looks. In theme creator I created 90% of the marquee using the game metadata images shown below and put them in the Images/Arcade/Arcade-Marquee folder think it might load faster if all those elements were 1 image. Then in the marquee view I added the Text release year, scrolling highscores, custom badge if it was a top 100 game and a favorite badge. I need to learn how to adjust the visibilty of the Highscore text scroll so it only shows if there is an active highscore but I am not too concerned now. I want to also play around and maybe show a video snap on the arcade screen shown or played in the background? 20211013_165702.mp4

    Hi Retro Is it possible you could let me know how you get game notes to show on you marquee monitor? I would love to be able to show Metadata along with the game marquee.

    I solved my own problem... I figured out changing the size of the mp4 actually fixed my issue.

    Hi Everyone I built a custom Arcade cabinet and used a TV which is installed in portrait mode and set a custom resolution of 2160x2160 and it works and looks great. I have been trying to find where to change the startup video in Full screen. I easily found game marquee and platform marquee view in the theme scripts for my 2nd marquee monitor But I can't find anything in all the scripts pertains to start up video? Any idea's... Thanks in advance Rob

    I have been hoping we could play video on my marquee monitor also... I will check out the Marquee xaml idea. i have a beefy system so i am not concerned with stutter... Is there a plugin already created?

    I was successful in installing the Theme Creator on my arcade PC and was able to open it up and look around. Using stretch makes sense and I definitely am going to try and learn as much as i can about building themes as I always end up tweaking or changing graphics in others. Thanks again for your help.

    Thanks for your response. I just made a custom resolution of 2160x2160 Centered in portrait mode in the AMD software I use to run the video card. I tried to use the theme builder on my main pc and always got errors on start up. I am going to try again on my arcade pc and check it out. When I set the Jukebox theme to Videobox everything is ok for the video ect it doesn't take up the whole screen leaving black bars on the top and bottom. I am just excited that you started this and I imagine in the future people will add to it.

    Hey Jay I love your platform theme as it was something I have always wanted to add to my Cabinet to make it complete for me. I was actually playing around with some of the Jukebox CoinOps builds so I have all the media ect. My cabinet build is a little different than most as i took an idea from another fellow Arcade member and used a 4K tv in Portrait mode with a custom resolution of 2160 x 2160 but as you can see from picture the video is too big along with the Music Video Ticket. (I just saw to put the Music Vid images in the clear logos) I am assuming if I edit one of the text view files would this solve my issue? Is it the HorizontalWheel1GamesView I would edit? Thanks again for any help.

    I love the Highscore feature especially since all I play is Mame and retro achievements doesn't have a lot of Mame or if any? Thanks for all your hard work on improving Launchbox/Bigbox its a great Frontend for everyone.
