Just put out a new beta guys; closed at least 50 bug tickets today (though a lot of them were duplicates and most of them were pretty obscure errors). I believe I've fixed the VLC issue where videos sometimes weren't playing/showing up, so if you guys can test that I'd appreciate it. Also these: - Improvement: Multi-disc imports now recognize the formats "Game - Disc 1", "Game - Disk 1", "Game - Disc 1 of 2", and "Game - Disk 1 of 2" - Fixed: When importing multiple discs and copying files, subsequent discs were not being copied - Fixed: The back button in Big Box no longer bypasses the playing game popup

Hi @shinra358, it actually might not work for the default theme as the default theme doesn't always work the same way. That said, if others are working then that doesn't sound like the problem. It should be using the name of the platform to find the right file; the folder name shouldn't matter in theory. What is the name of your Windows platform under Tools > Manage Platforms in LaunchBox?

@shinra358 I just tried putting a custom clear logo in a new theme and it loaded it up just fine after refreshing platform wheel images. Can you give it another shot?

We are working on fixing this, @neurohacked, yes. I just need a decent source of data for those games and it'll be an easy fix.

Hi @belowzero273, unfortunately customizing the columns in the LaunchBox list view isn't available yet, but it is planned for eventually.

Hi @NeoID, sounds cool. All metadata for people's personal collections is stored in LaunchBox.xml. The Metadata.xml file is used for imports and metadata updates and is downloaded from the LaunchBox Games Database.

Hi Neuro, what are your ROM file names? A lot depends on the type of ROM set that you are importing. If the names are obscure then that might be the issue.

Regardless of any issues, I'm personally very appreciative of RocketLauncher in general. They've done some amazing things that you really can't get anywhere else. Really the only reason not to use it is for simplicity's sake.

@shinra358, it's still on my list here to fix before 6.9. @kmoney, that's an odd one that I'm not seeing. I just fixed the issue where every once in a while a video wouldn't show up, but if you're hearing audio but not seeing any video, then that is a different issue. We should test when I get this new beta out later today. What theme are you using and what view are you seeing it on? Are you using background videos?

@ALIE Believe it or not, it's not installed for everybody. Some corporate and foreign installs don't include WMP. New beta is out guys with a bunch of stuff. Added more responses for voice recognition in the live stream. Made the voice recognition responses be sequential so it feels more real. Optimized saving in Big Box so that it doesn't slow down the interface, and does a better job of not overwriting changes when syncing via Dropbox. Fixed the updater to stop telling you to close LaunchBox. More VLC audio playing in the background fixes. Also I'm hoping that the platform folders being overwritten with the defaults thing is fixed. Let me know if anyone sees any more of that going on. Thanks guys!

Hi @Charco, what are your MAME emulator settings? We found a bug recently where the MAME default settings had been changed incorrectly. You should have "Don't use quotes" and "rom file name only" checked.

Hi Carl, yup, that's a safe way to do it. Just delete the media folders and then you can use the Download Metadata and Images wizard to re-download everything.

Hi @mingmong24, that is planned but not available as of yet. Rocket Launcher does support that though if you want to give that a try.
