So what ever happened to these features that were requested along time ago? Can't post in poll stream so guess I'll ask here. These were things that were 'put on the list' and were never spoken about again that are still highly desired: -Easing Animation -Random Platform Background Videos (Changes on platform load only and loops only 1 video, not play all videos back to back)(ex.:ps2-01.mp4, ps2-02.mp4, ps2-03.mp4, etc.) -Expose draw delay timing control for users for music and videos

I feel ya. But itll also be double wrk cleaning and replacing when the time comes. Thats why i made emphasis before to do the normal text like the clear logo banner when theres no pic instead of that big gray box but jason forgot

To be honest, most of these are kinda lazy. For the older systems, they mostly are cutoffs from the game boxes. Itll be better for the community to participate and make good ones for the website. Thats whats taking me so long to release my theme, im literally making every banner and bg myself. Not to mention jpgs instead of png, game names mostly are too small, or game name in diff language.

I knew the performance wasn't my hdd lol. Wheels load up so fast now Sound issue is still there though. To replicate, go to a game that has music, press the windows key (music will stop), then maximize another window (bb music will start playing again when not even on top).

You must dont care about background image quality because some of them have such low quality or just plain suck I literally have to go through and photoshop every image AND change the music provided (which is only available for like 5 old systems).

bigbox's process doesn't always close when bigbox is shut down.

The real 3D rotating boxes would have been a great idea for bigbox.

I only have the games I like. Community ratings are useless to me because I only have the games I like so if I have them, I know I like them and don't need help deciding for myself There's not that much hdd space in the world to get every game. And no one wants to play bad games.

pdf comment: i was thinking along the lines of having the wheel view them like they do the game boxes. page per page. and have the wheel only load only the pages on screen which would look at the amount of wheel items indicated in the already existing wheel control instead of every game in the collection which would cut down performance loss also. this could be some that could be optional among all the wheels. but if done that way, caching could be disabled for that option because its only loading the few wheel objects on screen instead of the whole collection. sound comment: yes, im sure.

on the new update, when I press the windows start menu button, the music stops like it's supposed to, but if I bring another app to the forefront, the music starts playing again when bigbox is in the background. And if bb stays in the background, the music will eventually stop, then randomly play once without a loop, then stop right after. Then randomly plays once, rinse and repeat.

bigbox could also read the pdf pages that could bring up a wheel, big enough to only show one set of pages at a time and the pages could be scrolled like the horizontal or vertical game wheels. we really dont need an external pdf viewer at all when itll be so easy for bb to have 'ts own'. Jason could code the triggers to use doubleanimation to enlarge/decrease said wheel size and thumbstick to shift position offsets because we dont have access to controller code. Would seem fast and easy since wheel code is already there. And if it cant be figured how to read inside a pdf, then pdf files can be dumped to a folder and be read that way. Lots of cbr readers are just zip files. Just sayin. This way itll look like part of bb instead of an external app that doesnt fit with the current bb theme. there isnt a wheel on the dtails page so there wont be any conflict with other wheels. click game option to view game manual option > manual wheel pops up > profit > cancel button to close it out.

i use a drawing tablet for my 2nd screen if that helps. I also use it for ds, wii u , and 3ds emulation.

not all official pc games can be done like this. Thats why i proposed the 2nd monitor thing. And even if pc games could all do it, alot blocks internal resolution to no longer surpass your native screen rez once your method is done. if your monitor isnt 4k, then one would get alot of jaggies because 1080p doesnt rid jaggies of games w bigger textures. 4960x2304 is the max rez to completely obliterate jaggies. Alot of pc games also have an always on top attribute which would make it difficult to draw over top of the game. That is why i asked for it to b on the marquee screen if called for on the main screen. Of course gedosato can put any game to borderless fullscreen while keeping a high int rez, but still not every game. on top of that, it gets broken and doesnt wrk at all sometimes when durante decides to update and it takes along time for him to fix it once it happens.

I get this bug with pc games that can't be closed with the bigbox gamepad close hotkeys (for example: Resident Evil 4 UHD): "loading game" window cut off glitch. Occurs when returning from said game to bigbox. Also, maybe the update download speed may not be a isp issue because the website is going very very slow as well. Every other site is working fine. Is the bandwidth of the site connected to where the updates are downloaded from?

Any way we can get a separate xaml for the pdf reader? Or a way to view one page at a time instead of all pages on one screen with the triggers switching between pages and the analog sticks controlling the zooming and shifting? Removing the gray background to see bigbox behind the pages? Hiding the pdf viewer gui to only show the pages? Per monitor settings (id like to view the pdf manuals on the marque screen instead of the main screen)? Was looking for something a bit more similar to how hyperspin's hyper pause menu displays it's pdfs to sum it up. I'd like to display the manuals and guides like a home console would.

And I came across that and it's perfect for what I'd like for the genesis platform vid. But you don't have to use time on your holiday. I'll always be here
