  1. Custom Filters does easily do this, and you can view them in Big Box as well. If a ticket for this doesn't exist on the BitBucket though you're more than welcome to create one yourself!
  2. Yea that's odd Derek, I never have to remap any controls ever with the exception of my Generic N64 controller. This is how it should look: https://i.imgur.com/60FnjIG.png It's worth noting I am using a PS4 controller through InputMapper, but it just tells the pc it's a "360 controller", and this should automatically work with a 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4 controller. Just make sure the device index has the right driver selected then select "User 1 Bind Default All" to set them back to defaults if you think they're messed up.
  3. You should watch the tutorials on our YouTube channel, I cover quite a lot of that information. The link is in my signature and at the top of every forum page called tutorials. RetroArch should be using RetroArch.cfg no matter how you launched it. I even carry over my cfg and certain files when upgrading from version to version. In short though, yes there is a way to do that and it's a common method I teach. -L loads the core files and -c is the load config command. Configs should get saved in the config folder. Load your core, and on the first RetroArch menu select "Save new config". If there are no write permission issues it will create a config named after the core you had loaded based on the config you had loaded previously. Close down RA, and go to the Associated Platforms page when you edit RA in LaunchBox. Double click the default command line box for PS1, and you should see -L "cores\mednafen_psx_libretro.dll". Right after the last quotation mark add -c "config\mednafen_psx_libretro.cfg". It should be named after the core, but it could decide to name it something different as I've had it do both, so just plug in the config name it gives you instead. If you have more questions feel free to ask.
  4. Yea this is totally a RetroArch thing, and I don't even remember what the MCR files are. Potentially files if you let RetroArch handle the saves? I think these are the equivalent of SRM files, which are going to get written even if you change that option anyways. I don't think there is any way to stop these from being written unless you let RetroArch control them and then tell it to use a specific location? I've never done this, I just remember reading these lines in the settings.
  5. Use your keyboard and try setting the RetroArch binds back to default and make sure you have the proper device selected in RetroArch (should happen automatically though).
  6. Potentially, I looked and didn't find any decent command line parameters. A computer tutorial I did a bit later had an -autoload, but Caprice didn't. Good find though!
  7. Well they are the same consoles, and unless the Database has the proper front and back box art uploaded and flagged properly it's going to grab what ever it has first. So it doesn't really matter in this case if the folders are split. You're more than welcome to go to those games pages on the Database and edit the offending games. Just make sure to follow the guidelines and properly tag and replace the proper artwork. Image Priorities should get you set up as well so you can tell LaunchBox what you prefer in the front box art position. I don't remember if it has regional selection but it /should/.
  8. ScummVM needs almost a complete overhaul, and DOSBox just needs to be opened up a bit more for flexibility. ScummVM is a bit higher on the list because it is still strict, where DOSBox has easy workarounds.
  9. m3TTwUrsT Yea, we've seen you request it, we read everything. :P That would be best requested in the ticket you created or in the beta thread though. This thread is more specifically for the YouTube channel.
  10. Not specifically @kerszr. It may be able to do some things differently, but in the case you described that's something we need to address regardless of anything else.
  11. You need an EmuMovies Premium account and a LaunchBox License. This is part of the reason why I want to create System Video's specifically for the LaunchBox community. The more I keep thinking about it, and the more questions and requests I am getting for this, they will be done shortly. Tomorrow (Today) is a no go for pretty much anything, I get to go to the Dentist. So besides RSS going up, which was uploaded last night, I'm not doing much else lol.
  12. Well no, not specifically. xD I guess I mean it more as, nothing is off the table for features we would implement. Obviously there are features that are a lot harder to implement and may take forever to implement (time to implement vs amount of requests), but nothing is technically a hard no.
  13. The plugin should specifically allow the Fade in and Pause screens to use RL specific metadata and art. If this is something someone's been dying to have then I could see this being very useful. Setting up RL cold turkey just for these two features? I would say it's not needed. RocketLauncher does do a few things we don't CURRENTLY do, but these two specific examples are the only two things that I think are made possible with the plugin, otherwise the other features work. Fade in and Pause still even works, it just doesn't display all the proper information you'd expect. This is what has been told to me from a few people though, I currently do not run RL in any way.
  14. I think they mean the Console Clear Logo's on the wheel @nyny77. As long as you made them or the original creator is ok with them being redistributed please share them! I'm gonna make a thread like I did for Themes and Sound Packs for Clear Logo / Wheel Art given the same restrictions.
  15. If the method in which you are moving your install is limited (say a 32GB USB Stick or something), then compression could help. However, and especially on Ultra compression settings in either WinRar or 7zip, it would just be faster to move the entire LaunchBox folder or move it in parts even. Compression, moving to and from then decompression can take a long time, especially on older PC's and higher compression methods.
  16. If it's video related my guess would be yes. I will be working on video's for System's for free soon.
  17. DOS76 said The logic behind that made me smile. I do mean it nicely. Drybonz said Jason Carr said I still have plenty of bugs to fix and such, but thought I might as well put out what I got in there today. I did find a bug with the image migration process where the platform image folder paths end up looking like this: ..\LaunchBox\Images\.. I wonder if that is the problem I have been having with my images, that I mentioned previously? Double check your paths and see if they were fixed or if they need fixing, it could be anything.
  18. It would take me hours to learn RL to be honest, which is the entire reason why we exist.
  19. Making multiple threads wont help. Also, if you removed your License.xml file (the only way to "remove" premium) this would have no effect on anything you are doing. However, if you are saying that your Premium features are suddenly gone then either you have Anti Virus software that is removing files or you are accidentally in a different install of LaunchBox. What exactly are you trying to do though? I apologize, but it is a bit hard to understand you, but I want to help. You have MAME .175b, and I assume you have the MAME .175 split set of games. Did you import these games under the System name "Arcade"? It should automatically use the MAME Importer and change the names of the games automatically. From there it would then scrape EmuMovies and the LaunchBox Games Database.
  20. slashguns04 said You can add the option to upload animated gif in the background? Potentially, but video's will be way more powerful and be better quality. This would however go best in the LaunchBox Beta thread if you want others responses.
  21. I would love to get to that point, but I doubt I ever would.
  22. ALIE said Jason Carr said ALIE said i made a custom SNES system launch box has created a folder for it but when importing its not on the list? Can you give me more details, @ALIE? What isn't in what list? Ok i first created a new system called Snes EU Exclusives. I say scrap as SNES. This part I guess was done correctly since a new folder is made in my roms folder. Then I go to Import I find my folder with the European Executive's. And now when picking system I only see the normal Snes I can't pick the new system. It should be there. Uncheck the box when you get to the drop down menu. If you've already added the platforms unchecking it (or checking it? I can't remember) will only show you systems you've added to LaunchBox. You can also just manually type anything here.
  23. Bedwyr said Tagging for later on the video. Currently what I do is use Retroarch's "shift" button. Forget what it's called, but I click down on the right stick of my 360. So RS+start goes into Retroarch, RS+dpad for savestate functionality (down save, up load, left and right for change state). Then for other emulators I use Controller Companion shortcuts to do the same thing. That's pretty much controller automation, but RA's is a bit more powerful.
