  1. Okay I see the problem I don't actually use the software list games in MAME I use other ROMs they just work in MAME but only if you don't have that checked and you feed it the -cart parameter. I'm guessing you used Lightspeed in order to get your software list roms names correctly.
  2. Any of you guys interested in making some of these for the new platform categories feature need them for Computer Console Handheld Arcade Pinball They are already in the latest beta
  3. There is a setting in BB to specify which screen it comes up on if you have multiple screens you can also set your 2nd screen to act as a marquee Under options General primary screen
  4. So you are saying that you can take off the -cart tag and it will just load coleco because you are using the checkbox @Pacman56 I just tested it not working for me.
  5. Arcade Playlist can be generated from the tools menu Its Create Missing Arcade/MAME Playlists
  6. I mean its running on an Atom with 2GB of RAM you can't expect the world from it. Those 4GB models may perform much better.
  7. They also have this one which has a slightly better processor 64GB of storage and a Gigabit LAN port. I use it with BigBox and it works but I wouldn't say great I keep the art very minimal on it due to the storage constraints I only have Front Box art for games and banners for platforms. Even using the clear logos in the wheel hurts performance so have to keep it light.
  8. I do LB works pretty good when you turn the RAM cache all the way down since it only has 2GB. The MeegoPad people have a newer model that has 4GB of RAM and that is only $169
  9. curious when you put the path in do you even have to put the .zip part in since it doesn't exist anyway or will simply having roms\breakout work
  10. I have the MeegoPad T02 PC on a stick and it works it isn't the most powerful solution but it will handle Plex and any thing 8-16 bit easily. I was interested in the Asus model but since I read it didn't have a micro SD slot that is a killer for me but that was awhile ago before it was actually released just something to check on before pulling the trigger a 32GB drive isn't going to get you to far without additional storage.
  11. yeah the playlists have completely replaced the custom filtering.
  12. yeah I'm familiar with that work around for sure.
  13. @Crushthat setting is global for the emulator so if you need to check it will effect everything in MAME. One solution would be if @Jason Carrwould make some changes to the manage emulators forms and add those three checkboxes to the associated platforms tab and then you could use them only for the platform that may need them. There are instances in Demul where this would come in handy too.
  14. Inside the zip is a bat for each of those platforms listed. When you run one from inside of your MAME ROMs folder it will make a folder for that platform in the directory you run it from. You will be responsible for copying the files over to a location that is setup in Demul
  15. Having the use file names only without file extensions or path option checked breaks MAME from being able to use the software lists unless they are the official software list games which are impossible to name correctly so while this fixes a few tll or chd games that don't have ROMs associated with it it breaks many more by disabling the ability to use MAME for console systems.
  16. Dammit you quoted me before I finished my edit
  17. That looks like a nice 2 in 1 piece of hardware right there although I've given up on mini keyboards and prefer the Logitech k400 for couch use.
  18. https://www.amazon.com/Ortek-Windows-Infrared-Receiver-Ultimate/dp/B00224ZDFY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1490108064&sr=8-2&keywords=Media+remote+windows This is the remote I'm using it has a pretty lot of buttons
  19. If you have all controllers enabled you should be able to use any controller you havre plugged with those buttons
  20. I didn't have to configure mine at all it just works to navigate I don't use it for controller automation however I have a close button on mine that I would probably try to get to exit if I was interested but I have it setup on my controllers anyway and have a keyboard handy at all times so don't need any more redundancy
  21. 1st issue you may have is I don't think LB supports more than a 2 button close combo so I don't think you can set it up how you want to. I have an older Media Remote and it works in both LB and BB
  22. It isn't a bug it is just the way that the program works. Clean up images doesn't imply that it cleans up videos just images. I've seen this discussed in the past and it is definitely a needed feature that hasn't found its way into LB yet.
  23. what do you mean by you want to build a arcade machine without a PC? Its not that the Pi is to underpowered (though it is) the issue is that it needs to run Windows in order to run LB.
