Does that in theory mean you could actually save 2 different settings for the same game by naming them game_01 and game_02 not that there would be much use for it.

I'm going to guess that since it isn't version specific it is a problem with the server they use to push the updates out. Its seems the homepage for the site is having issues also so I'm definitely going to say something server related.

Hey I saw that there was a new beta out but when I went to grab it there was no prompt. I tried restarting the application 3 times and checking that I was indeed still signed up for the betas in options which I am but I can't seem to grab the latest beta.

I know this is just a workaround but you could make the dummy files in a different directory and just add that to you MAME.ini file path. This would add the game to LB and avoid issues with CLRMAMEPro

It definitely doesn't effect the theme that you are using in BB they are just video files

Copy your video folder to another location try it and if you don't like the results delete it and paste your old one back in if you do like it delete the old one.

I believe that the videos are hosted on the LB server and not Emumovies so it might not include Cid's videos actually just the platform ones.

I'm pretty sure it is the platform videos made by NYNY77 and Bakerman and maybe even the individual games ones made by them and cid also

wow just updated it on one PC now to do the rest.

There is a setting in Dolphin confirm on stop you have to uncheck it and it will all go away. Its under Options Configuration on the interface tab

I would advise you to test all scenarios and see what your performance is like if you can get away with only having one copy of images for all your clients that is always a win and if you need to keep them all locally because performance isn't good enough you can go that route also. By the way I'm impressed with your dual Xeon 192 GB of RAM setup there, its terribly overpowered for a home machine but still impressive. That's the kind of system they install like 25 VM's on and put it in the server Room

Just to add usually if you setup LB to use a server share it will assign it say in my case \\WHS2011\Emulators\Arcade\MAME\ROMs now when you copy this over to another PC on the same network this structure is totally usable. You can also setup all the media assets on your server by changing the folder paths under Manage Platforms but I've never tried it for assets and don't know what your performance would be like just know its possible.

Yeah I believe that it does generate data from the MAME.exe but I'm not 100% on that

Basically LS is going to add those Platforms to LB and make MAME the emulator afterwards you can edit them to use any emulator you want through LB LS is just a import tool really after the initial import its just like any other LB platform really except where the data was pulled from

If you go to Manage Emulators and open an edit window for RA do you have any of the checkboxes checked I recently found that MAME standalone doesn't work for any of the software list stuff if you have the 2 checkboxes on the left checked. I don't have any success with MAME for software list in RA unless I actually use the real software list games with the naming MAME is looking for unlike the standalone version of MAME which will allow you to use any ROM as long as the BIOS file is in the right place in MAME it will load it up. I'm all for trying to use RA for everything but MAME/Mess I prefer the standalone MAME actually has more powerful controller options and pretty good graphics options too.

Tools Options General its right on the 1st menu when you open Options its a checkbox
