  1. I hope my post didn't seem like I was for or against this in anyway. Llike lordmonkus said this is going to be very niche. I was just questioning the logic of the response. I just tested this if you go to the add button and add a game and put in the games url the page will launch from LB now all you need to do is is figure out how to pass the button presses to start the game and make it go full screen which I'm sure is possible but I don't know how to do it but that would allow you to play it on the browser and not using any of your emulators which is a little different from what you are asking
  2. yeah you may have to use the desktop version of Kodi to get it to work.
  3. If you knew enough about how they are calling them from Kodi you could probably already launch them with the proper parameters
  4. Wait if you developed something to emulate retro games it would be an emulator so how would that be a big no no since emulators are perfectly legal?
  5. Go into the downloads section and you will see options to add it to the site.
  6. sounds like your close and menu settings are the same when you back to the RAUI is there an option for quick menu and to resume the game?
  7. Okay I just tested the auditing feature in LB 7.5 beta 6 with my Arcade system during it LB takes about 75% of my CPU (i7 4770) it runs the fans at a speed that makes me think my computer is going to blow up and the progress bar looked as it was going to take a very long time to complete so I decided that I was just going to kill the audit but doing so crashed LB I've tested it twice now with the same results and killing the audit for me crashes the system. I'm going to go test on another machine and report back if it is occurring on multiple computers. here is the error message that goes with it. If you use the close button though this doesn't happen only if you close the window with the red X does the crash occur.
  8. If you want a more bulk approach you can got to manage platforms choose your platform and then go to the folders tab and change the path for all the videos on that platform. To do it for all platforms you will have to repeat the steps.
  9. Shelling software doesn't hide explorer it replaces I tried this on my arcade machine but at the time I hadn't added speakers and I was relying on the Bluetooth service to handle sound well without explorer running that service doesn't start so I had to switch back which is actually a pretty specialized use case so it may be an option for you
  10. What OS are you on it works for me in Windows 10

  12. Which version of Windows are you running. Also have you gone into the settings and tried to turn on controller support
  13. Yes if you could set it to delayed start it would help really it shouldn't be that much longer but some people have BigBox pop but not in focus and then if they don't have a mouse and keyboard then they can't control the program so yeah if you were to schedule it that would probably be ideal.
  14. Yes you can but it will take a little longer to start as all the other startup processes are also running at the same time.
  15. Yeah he has a guide somewhere on the forums for how he sets it up.

    Start time

Oh in your original post you said BigBox my LaunchBox start times are actually a little faster than BigBox Those start times I gave where for BB

    Start time

Yeah I'm between 15 seconds to a minute depending on the computer My tablet and mini PC take a minute

    Start time

Start times vary by user. The size of the data BB has to parse before opening does effect start time I believe. Also if you aren't using the voice recognition make sure it is off as it effects start time also.
  19. Hey @adu maybe @lordmonkuscan help you out with getting your settings in RA tweaked to eliminate the lag. If not Rocket Launcher maybe your best bet to get bezel support outside of RA and MAME's built in abilities
  20. No worries I'll be sure to not offer any more assistance to your questions enjoy your evening
  21. Yeah all my opinions are my own and in no way reflect the actual views of the LB team.
  22. I have a post on here asking this exact question from when I joined the only difference was that when they explained it to me I was ecstatic that I could easily use the search and solve my problem because it was a solution that's all I needed. Its really easy to do it this way so I just don't see taking time away from other development.
  23. Yeah well a media app and an emulator frontend are completely different. Emulation is a hobby that will never be fully automated no matter how hard anyone tries you will still need to get your hands dirty. Worst case scenario if it is fully automated then it breaks you will have tons of people without the ability fix their problems.
  24. I run it on these desktops without any issues or hang ups i7 4770 16GB RAM GeForce GTX 960 i5 6500 16GB RAM DDR4 GeForce GTX 750 TI i5 6500 16GB RAM DDR3 GeForce GTX 750TI i5 3330S 8GB RAM GeForce GTX 950 I also have run it with different levels of performance on laptops mini PC's and tablets.
  25. Are you aware that you can just set both of those buttons to close MAME in the program itself if you go open a game in MAME then tab and go to Input general and then UI go to exit or cancel I don't recall which then hit enter and hit both select and start and that will be your new way to close MAME you can then set another combo to enter the tab menu and then you can configure MAME with your controller also I use left thumb and start to enter the tab menu.
