    Personality Test!

I'm 56% introverted but due to my personality type I don't like to be like others so it all good!https://www.16personalities.com/intp-personality
  2. Sounds like a shit load of coding but it does sound like it would be an amazingly versatile feature add on.
  3. Yeah try to bribe him then we can switch over to a pay to develop features model instead of a community based one. (This is of course a joke and I know that Jason would never do that).
  4. Isn't that basically what lightspeed does uses other data sources to populate the LB.xml
  5. Its not really strange the DC core is rather new and also at this point not very good. I wouldn't actually make RetroArcj your DC emulator but instead go with Demul for the time being. Looking at your screenshots it looks as if everything is typed in correctly. Make sure you have the correct bios files with the correct names in the systems folders.
  6. Yeah you can use the feature regardless of what version of LB you are using so really nothing is lost. That being said I wouldn't hate to see that feature added to BigBox.
  7. https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/1146/sound-set-selection I went to BitBucket to make a ticket for this and some one already beat me to it here is the link if anyone wants to vote!
  8. Any chance we could see a change to how sounds are stored and maybe a move to the default sounds being in a folder named default and all other sound packs in there own folder much like the themes are being handled. Then BigBox could get a feature to allow changing your sound pack from the menu.
  9. progets what did he say here that is negative. He just advised a user that in his opinion it isn't necessary but if you want the specific features its offering to set it up and use, but warns it could be time consuming. I didn't see any negative phrasing, he didn't call it garbage, a POS or anything inflammatory. If you think Kerszr should use RL tell him the reasons why and then someone with RL experience like yourself can help him set it up instead.
  10. Isn't this basically the same as the request for the nested filters also? Custom Filters is in no way powerful enough for what could be possible for filtering in LB. You should be able for example filter games like Nintendo 64 Racing Konami and only get the games that meet all of those criteria as results. Custom filter just doesn't come close to being able to do that!
  11. Ipega Bluetooth controllers have this issue for me.
  12. There are so many controllers that you need for a comprehensive arcade setup so many that to do it correctly you actually need to have multiple machines (I don't have any so obviously I'm not doing it right). Racing Wheels Spinners Trackballs Lightguns 4-way Joysticks 8-way Joysticks Dancepads Flight Sticks These are basically the controls that you can get for your PC to make it as authentic as possible, and there are still plenty of control types that there are no controllers for (motorcycle games, skiing/water skiing and I'm sure plenty of others) For racing games I use the Logitech G27 and I also have a Logitech flight stick that I use for the Star Wars Trilogy game on Sega Model 3 emulator. I have an Arcade Gun light gun to but I've never been able to get it to work in any consistent way.
  13. I've run into issues mapping controllers in RA before. I make sure I map the x+z keyboard buttons to a+b on my controller 1st and then immediately set the d-pad if I try to do it in the order presented by the program it leads to buttons not doing the right thing and then you lose the ability to use the buttons to set new buttons (or I did in my case).
  14. LordMonkus what you are talking about sounds like changing controller bind from the quick menu core inputs not from the settings. I've always had to set up non-Xinput controllers the way described above.
  15. I don't know but it will definitely be done on the RetroArch side of things if it is possible.
  16. Go to device manager find your controller from the list click update drivers and let it run.
  17. Do you have the latest 360 drivers?
  18. 720 is a trackball game is APB a wheel game originally if so I think that is why you have controller issues.
  19. The logic behind that made me smile.
  20. I could be wrong here but I'm going to say it is very doubtful
  21. I have experience at making forms and I know that has a lot of visual capability lets you drag and drop elements wherever you want. I assume the same for XAML but not sure that is why I offered to test.
  22. I'm pretty sure its always worked like that not just in the latest version.
  23. I have VS but I haven't looked at the XAML yet what file do I try to edit? I'll test and see if what's up.
