  1. Exit and switch to desktop should both be options still but then you would have to enter your password which would then directly exit afterwards instead of unlocking and then needing to scroll down to exit. Other changes could still be done through the unlocking method as is (or I could stop being so lazy and just punch in the 4 digit code.
  2. That's the thing many people have Kodi with BigBox or just BigBox shelled for cabs and HTPC's and they don't want to let anyone access the desktop. They don't want to have a keyboard sitting out but just bring one out only when necessary to update or troubleshoot issues.

    retroarch

Please fix your PC seeing all that wasted RAM is painful. Your computer will be so much better I mean exponentially improved once you get 64 bit Windows.
  4. Create a BitBucket ticket. Vote for it then link it back in this thread so if anyone else that reads it and likes it they have easy access to vote for it and move it up.

It's actually closer to 4 (Around 3.6) but if you have 8GB of RAM and a 64Bit compatible chip I would suggest updating and you will see your PC's performance significantly increase.
  6. Yeah you will need to use NotePad++ and use the find and replace method. 1. Download and install Notepad++ 2. Close LB and then open the LaunchBox.xml file in your LB folder with NP++ 3. click the search option from the menu bar and then choose find from the dropdown. 4. type your current path into the text box on the find form that opened after typing it click count to make sure that it finds your path and take note of the amount of entries that it finds for when you use replace. 5. Click the replace tab on the form and fill in the new path that you want to use and then click replace all it should tell you how many items it changed that number should match the number that was displayed earlier when you used then count button Finally go back to the menu bar and click file and choose save from the drop down. Close NP++ and reopen LB and you should be good to go.
  7. BigBox crashed again System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at (FiltersViewModel ) at BigBox.ViewModels.FiltersViewModel.b__108_0() at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.RunInternal(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean preserveSyncCtx) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean preserveSyncCtx) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state) at System.Threading.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart() Then after restarting it I got this error while trying to switch between views. BigBox didn't crash though just displayed the error message. System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file 'E:\LaunchBox\LaunchBox.xml' because it is being used by another process. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.File.InternalCopy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean overwrite, Boolean checkHost) at (c__DisplayClass81_0 ) at LaunchBox.Data.DataManager.c__DisplayClass81_0.b__0() at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.RunInternal(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean preserveSyncCtx) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean preserveSyncCtx) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state) at System.Threading.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart()
  8. I was just watching the 2nd developer session and if you are looking for alternative alphanumeric navigation I like the one that the start menu uses personally

    Arcade Gun

I have this usb lightgun However I have issues with the AimTrak software that came with it. I can run the software and get the games up and playing but whenever I hold the trigger for a millisecond to long then it keeps switching to calibration mode while playing the game. This is a huge problem and makes using the gun unbearable. Anyone have a good lightgun setup going and maybe have some advice or alternative software that I could use instead.
  10. You could make up a phony file with a fake file extension and LB would import it in my experience. I do believe the Dolphin does indeed play wbfs files but I didn't confirm this I'm just going off of my somewhat fallible memory. Edit I can confirm that wbfs games do launch in Dolphin.
  11. I have the lifetime membership even though I probably could have gotten away with something cheaper. Originally I thought that I wouldn't want the videos for space reasons and just general lack of interest in them but then I saw how they looked in BigBox when I grabbed a few videos from somewhere I decided (ok it was more of an uncontrollable impulse) that I wanted to have them for my entire library. This was before Jason added the videos to LB so when that happened I got even more value for them. So if you want your setup to pop and just have more visual appeal in my opinion the videos are a must have.
  12. Damn that's five offer for five new languages in the last few days
  13. (No I really don't care if there is a new thread meant more as a joke)
  14. I'm still getting this when I update all the time. When I close it the setup continues without issue so its not really an issue to me just thought you might want to be know that it's happening.
  15. SSF is PITA for sure every time I set it up I have to do 200 plus additional apps for every game in order for it to work right in LB
  16. I update and install LB steadily on a bunch of machines and Windows 10 has never once had any issues with it.
  17. Or just delete all your 161 games and replace them with the full set for 173 than you wouldn't need clearmamepro until you wanted to update later.
  18. Yeah tutorials should never be used without trying and failing on your own 1st.
  19. I'm unsure too but I've been intermittently been using MAME since 07 when a buddy threw it on my laptop and I don't think I've ever needed to get BIOS files. Did anyone ask the OP if he is moving his games into the LB games folder or leaving them in there own directory? If he was moving only what he imported and it was skipping unworking games and bios files they would still be in the original directory while the game ROMs would be in LB this would create the scenario where your BIOS files would be missing. Also did he make sure the directory is correct in whatever version of MAME he is using?
  20. Don't the BIOS files come with the roms when you grab you set?
  21. What @Lordmonkus described will work but there could be naming issues with some titles that would have to be manually matched.

    Forever license

If he was to remove the license.xml from his brothers PC wouldn't it just be free LB without the name though? Then he wouldn't have the name anymore and he wouldn't be sharing the premium version.
