On a different note the new artwork system has a few issues as it has multiple covers and there is no clear way to define which is to be used except by deleting the alt regions which I don't think that I want to do.

I run LB on a few tablets and if the keyboard could be integrated into the program that would be fantastic not that it would help from BB unless you could adapt a hold key and set up the key and another button to launch the On-Screen Keyboard and then make the keyboard be controlled by the controller (if that is possible). This article says it is possible with 3rd party assistance

Usually yes but last I checked I don't think it was functioning in all of the views. Tested and confirmed it isn't working on the wheel game art view.

I totally agree with you I'm not a RL user and I would love to see this added in personally but that doesn't mean that it will so at least there is a work around. Also voted for that ticket.

Yeah others use RocketLauncher for all their emulators from what I read. Thus still getting all of their RL features in conjunction with LB

If you use RL as the emulator in LB shouldn't it just work automatically? That is what I thought from reading other RocketLauncher users post in the past.

you have to use the additional apps feature to load either the discs and unload them or you have to launch SSF from an additional app. The easiest way to do this is to setup the platform without an emulator with your pc associated to load the disc into Daemon Tools then you set up SSF to load afterwards in the additional apps beware that this process is extremely far from being intuitive or automated and it requires an additional app for every game you want to add so major PITA for Saturn. Their is a .bat somewhere on here and while I did get it to work it seemed that I had significantly less compatibility using the .bat vs the additional apps. Good luck, I'm glad mine is done and I don't have to sweat it anymore.

All of my 3DO games are .iso I believe there is a .cue with them but I think I needed to use the iso or it wouldn't work for me either.

Yeah you definitely can rename files or delete them from the import from inside that form.

Troubleshoot it first see if that game works in RA without LB if so then we know it isn't the ROM then edit the game in LaunchBox and check and make sure that LB is pointing to the right location and under the emulation tab that the game is being pointed to the right emulator.

I have the STeem emulator running but it was tough to get going and I decided to scrap it for later.

I have to disagree I've been using codec packs for years specifically started because WMP in Windows 7 used to not support mp4 back a few years ago. I still grab them whenever I do a fresh setup and I've never ran into any problems once you have one you know you can trust then its not a big deal installing it just have to watch for the bundled crapware.

I have two Mayflash controllers like that but more plain with all black. They are nice as can be.

If by chance your games are in individual folders just named the title you could use the option to name using the folder name instead of file.

Absolutely right it is vital for preservation since the industry basically is unwilling to make sure the games are preserved because that goes against their bottom line. Nintendo excluded because they seem to be the only one with vision enough to see retro games as a market unless you count Steam who from what I read here offers a myriad of older games for various platforms.

I'm hoping to preserve my archive for my entire life so I view data storage as an infinite and growing thing that I'll be investing in forever hopeful some of the futuristic storage methods @Cadet Stimpy posted about will become affordable in the near future.

Good sets are just a name like no intro or TOSEC they just include all of the junk rom dumps and endless duplicates I would just not download any Good Sets I know I never will again.

Yeah thats why the archive doesn't work. I had Sega Master System games like that I believe it may have been from a good set and it contained everything including multiple hacks bad dumps revisions it was a mess.
