  1. Many requests get lost here the best place to make them is on the bitbucket page which can be reaced from both the report issues and request features link. I'm going to make a ticket for this myself and then link the request here. You can then go and vote it up so it will get preference if other users are interested.
  2. It would be great to have an option to tell LB/BB which monitor you wanted it to launch on.
  3. Edit the game and check the emulation tab to see if there is an emulator selected. Or right click it and the emulator should be shown in the context menu if not then do the first suggestion.
  4. I usually delete the second disc and then add them as an additional app for the 1st game. This way you can right click on the game and the second disk will be an option in the context menu.
  5. That pretty much looks like my XBox One
  6. The best method to change path in LB is to edit your XML file using the Find and Replace method in NotePad++
  7. In the LB image folder there will be a folder for all the platforms that you have added inside of that will be multiple image folders with various names. One will be the front folder you can add your images here manually and then choose the platform in LB use ctrl+A to highlight all of the games in that platform go up to tools and choose download metadata and images run through the wizard and all the fronts from that would be added. You could also go into tools click manage platforms find your platform select it and click edit then go to the folders tab and point LB directly towards your existing folders. This is where it is tricky though because I don't have a clue on how Hyperspin structures it media folders so this may not work if it is done differently or if multiple platforms have images in the same folder (like I said I don't know how it works). But if the fronts are all in one folder for each platform then it would be as easy as pointing LB to another location for each platform.
  8. Jason what I had happening is that instead of saying TurboGrafx-16 as the platform it says Cadash is the platform. For some reason under the platform folder many of the platforms have multiple image types and some of the clear logo folders have multiple images in them when I deleted them leaving only the TurboGrafx logo and refreshed the cache the problem went away. Is it normal for the LaunchBox\Images\Platforms\TurboGrafx-16\Clear Logos folder to have multiple images inside of it?
  9. I have an issue where one of my game clear logo is showing up in the platform wheel 1st it was R-Type then I refreshed all the images in the hope that it would fix it but it is now a different game showing.
  10. No if they are already loading in the emulators then they should work even compressed. I asked for the screenshot because I wanted to make sure that your platform name was Atari 2600 like it is on mine as both the platform name on the sidebar and the one in the settings have to match.
  11. Created another one also this one is for adding RetroArch style hotkey enable in the controller support meaning that you could map many more control options and be able to use the dpad the analog and triggers to map controls too thus doubling the amount of controls already available for mapping. Find it here https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/901/add-retroarch-style-hotkey-to-bigbox
  12. Hey I just made a BitBucket ticket for adding keyboard support to the BigBox unlock keypad for any users that aren't just using a gamepad. If you like the idea you can vote for it at https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/900/add-keyboard-functionality-to-the-bigbox
  13. LaunchBox should work fine in Vista. Can you send a screenshot that shows your platforms on the left and your associated platform tab from the manage emulator form for both emulators although I don't think that Stella should require any command line though.
  14. I hate it it personally it doesn't display right on my HDTV's switched over the the FB Alpha core in RetroArch and don't miss this emulator one bit.
  15. Brad I believe he was asking if Jason was going allow Kodi and those other he named access to scrape our database to get info not about adding more media types to LB but I could be mistaken that was how I read it.
  16. They are separate now our DB is not affiliated with TGDB any longer and all data since the data was added to LB would be different from any changes added in TGDB as well as changes to LBGDB would not be reflected in their DB.
  17. You can put at least all of your older systems roms on the centralized location add them to one instance of LB before you add your other games and then copy that version of LB to all of your PC's giving you a base upon to build with on each of your computers. Then you can test systems like Saturn PS1 and up and see if they will perform from the centralized storage location and if you run into performance issues you will have to readjust and move those more advanced systems to each computer but storing all of those games can get to be expensive if you keep large libraries of disc games.
  18. I tried to set LB up on my server before but ran into issues caused by the fact that you would have to use centrally located emulators which would then not be configured the same on each of your computers. Using RetroArch may make that more usable since it autodetecs controllers but for other systems not so much. Other issues would still be graphics settings, display size and probably some more stuff I can't think of off of the top.
  19. I have my own work around you open a run box and type shell:AppsFolder find the app you want in there and create a shortcut to your desktop. Next you go into LaunchBox and you hit the add button in the bottom right corner then you enter your games name I put in Windows Store as the platform but that would be up to you what you wanted to make the platform name. Then you point LB towards the shortcut for the game and you are good to go.
  20. I know that Brad also reports having issues getting .gdi Dreamcast games up and running but for some reason I have them working here is a few screens of my settings. Emulators Detail tab: Associated Platform tab: Plugins & Paths in Demul:
  21. I apologize for that you are correct it seems that videos do only work for premium versions of LB I've had my license for awhile now and didn't realize that people with the free version don't have access to videos.
  22. You have to turn on a few options first but yes videos should work in the free version of LB.
  23. Did you configure LB with your EmuMovies user name and password?
