I'm duplicating the results for the keyboard buttons the same as @Klamp I'm finding that button 3 and 4 aren't doing anything in coverflow so you can't directly launch a game.

So if there is a game say for PC Engine and TG16 it will now get the proper regional data or will you have to have the region specified when you add games, and if so is that even possible at this stage?

Sorry I should be more patient. Controllers are working great in the alt views now. Any chance you would add the ability to go left from the first game to the last game in the other views?

I agree that Jaguar is terrible it is probably the worst system I've ever seen but despite that it is worth getting running as it takes very little effort especially if you use RA. I believe that CD emulation is non-existant about the same way the Virtual Jaguar development seems to be nonexistant.

Plenty of the ROMs just don't work either.

To check just look at the title for the game if you have daytona as the name you are using the ROM name if it says Daytona USA then you already have them named properly and there should be info on the DB for them under the arcade section. When you import the games there will be a checkbox option to force using MAME metadata. You will probably be best off if you just delete all of your model 2 games from LB and then readd them using the wizard and make sure you check that checkbox. You may be best off if you name the platform arcade initially and then change it to Sega Model 2 afterwards using the bulk edit wizard to change the platform.

Okay I need a little help. Where are the settings to change the views? I don't see them. Also I had BB crash both times I ran it once after closing out of a game and once when I was just randomly scrolling. Edit: Just happened a third time when I exit out of RA it goes back to the screen with the options on it but when you hit back to return to the list it crashes.

I have covers for all most all of the games and videos for every one of them. Are you using the checkbox to use MAME naming and getting actual titles or are you using the rom names?

It will be as you configured it. All LaunchBox does is load your specified game using the .exe that you assign it.

I'm really enjoying the Water shader It looks pretty good on my basement PC I have the 10 or so shaders I liked saved and I can easily cycle through them using my controller which is pretty bad ass. I also like Pixellate, Bead, WaterPaint HC CRT-Pi (no graphics card so PC struggles with most CRT shaders) and a few more whose names I don't recall off of the top.

Try editing one of the games and changing the platform to arcade running the metadata search and downloading whatever is found? If that works you can use ctrl+A to select all the games, then right click and choose edit to change the platform to arcade (I wouldn't suggest doing the bulk changes if you already have an Arcade platform though) after that go to tools and select download metadata and images after that just right click again and change the platform back to Sega Model 2. You could also do each game individually. If you aren't using any of the clones its only 32 games. Also if you don't have a paid EmuMovies account then you won't get any videos when you scrap the data.

Couldn't agree more about your views on the NUC they look great and if you do buy the top end model you could probably end up with a really sweet mini PC but I've priced these and with a 6th gen Core i5 inside and if you add 16GB of DDR4 RAM an SSD or mSATA drive with any halfway decent capacity you are talking around $600 easy. I'll never give up on my HTPC's though I have one in my bedroom, kitchen, living room and my rec room in the basement. My 2 newest one I built around Christmas they both have 6 gen Core i5 6500's and they are so quiet it is unbelievable. They run at around 15C when they aren't under load and they are very good on power consumption at the same time as being decently powerful machines The i7 4770 I have in my room is also very quiet and the i5 3330 in my basement while suffering from not having a graphics card still handles almost every emulator that I can throw at it with some varying degree. Also you home server is not a normal PC it is the foundation of your networks infrastructure (Ok its a normal PC but I just love mine so much that I don't like to think of it like that) I just mentioned to my brother that my WHS2011 PC is the most important machine on my LAN but that I haven't needed to sign in or mess with it in over 2 months it just sits there and does its work like a trooper. Good luck getting your streaming working how you want it to. The K400 is an excellent solution for couch computing (I own 5 of them).

I've only been able to implement the one script that Jason was using and I was able to change which keys it used but I've never really tried anything else except to try to get it to pass the alt+enter command at the launch of Desume but I never figured out how to get it to work so I really can't help out in this case.

I'm interested in this so if the commands are figured out I hope someone will post them.
