  1. LOL, nope. I don't even have them set to auto-play, I have to click them to play. I only have videos for some platforms because a buddy of mine gave them to me, i've even contemplated deleting them all together.
  2. Not that I am aware of.
  3. Brad is no longer a part of the Launchbox team for reasons between himself and Jason.
  4. @Charco has his own personal team of Photoshop masters at his disposal, he cracks the whip and it gets done.
  5. I agree with you, the knob sucks to use and I have told Jason this in private chat. It's not a huge deal to me personally since I have the volume set to 0 anyways but that doesn't change the fact it's not user friendly.
  6. 8.3 is 8 characters in the main name of the file and 3 for the extension, for example: filename.exe This is an old DOS limitation where you couldn't have files with longer names than that.
  7. The first pass is now complete, I don't foresee any big changes to these batch files but there may be some small updates in the future.
  8. Here are the Beta lists of the NES and SNES games I have so far. The lists include both English and Japanese region games though the Japanese games included are ones that can be played without any knowledge of the language. This means that RPGs like Final Fantasy 5 and the Dragon Quests series are not included. I am debating a separate batch file for some Japanese games so people can get the patch and patch the rom themselves. But this can be tricky since there are different revisions for some of these games and I don't know what revision the patches require. I suppose I could just have it copy all the revisions out and the end user can then just use the one the patch needs. _NoFiller SNES Roms List (Beta).txt _NoFiller SFC - Requires Translation .txt _NES NoFiller Roms List (Beta).txt
  9. I am starting work on the NES and SNES ones next and these will be the ones that take the most time since their libraries are so big. If anyone has any suggestions for these 2 systems that are not the normal run of the mill top 10 or even top 50 list type games feel free to make suggestions and I will check them out and decide whether or not I will add them. This won't be a long running process, I should have both of these done within a few days. I am starting right now as of writing this with the NES set and then the SNES, batch files should be up on the weekend some time.
  10. Put this as your command line parameter in your associated platforms window in Launchbox for your Mesen emulator entry. %romfile% -fullscreen
  11. I have never had LB run out of memory, Windows 10 build 1709, 16 gigs of ddr3 ram. I always have LB Next running, basically if my computer is on, which is 24/7 LB is running unless I misclick and close it.
  12. Update: Changed up the batch files a little. I changed the file extension part of the rom name to a .* so now any file type will copy out. Example: Streets of Rage 2 (USA).md got changed to: Streets of Rage 2 (USA).* When I made these from my roms I was using the actual rom file extension but then I remembered some people like to keep their roms zipped and my batch files would miss those.
  13. For SNES it depends on your CPU and if you have the special chip dumps. Technically speaking Higan / BSnes is the best and most accurate but they both have fairly hefty CPU requirements and you need the special chip dumps from games like Megaman X2 and X3 and Mario Kart. I would just say stick with Snes9x if you are happy with it, it is really good and covers the vast majority of the SNES library without issues aside from a small selection of games very rarely played by most people. You can give Higan a try sometime and see what you think of it and how it runs on your system.
  14. I haven't had any problems with my controllers in my testing with them. I use Retroarch and the Mesen core for my NES, I just have other stuff around for quick testing purposes.
  15. Just tested with a fresh download of Fceux on Windows 10 version 1709, default emulator settings other than enter fullscreen after game is loaded. Loaded up in fullscreen mode with no problems dragging rom onto the executable. On a side note i'd suggest switching over to a better and more accurate emulator for the NES such as Mesen or puNES, both of those are fantastic.
  16. Added Atari 2600. Now the two that will take the most time to do, NES and SNES. 2 rather large libraries and a lot of classic games.
  17. Unfortunately there is no config or fix to make PCSX2 perform well on a low end PC. If you provide the specs of your PC (CPU type and speed and graphics card) maybe we would have an idea of whether or not it will be able to handle PCSX2. What Zombeavers configs do is they fix or minimize certain graphical issues with specific games using the emulator. Because of how PCSX2 is currently made and how the PS2 actually was (interlaced and progressive scan mode games) often games in PCSX2 require their own specialized settings in the emulator. The other thing that this configurator does is it allows the making of per game settings much easier to create, save and load. PCSX2 on its own does not allow you to save and load per game configs easily. You would have to make and save your configs and then tell the emulator to load the config with the game at load time with its own specialized command line. This configurator gets rid of the special command line and the creation of the per game config much less time consuming.
  18. No worries, I thought maybe for a minute that maybe the sfiii3nr1 file was North American region or at least English text so I downloaded it to check it out but it's Japan region as well so unless someone can tell me the difference and a good reason to swap it out I will leave it the way it is now.
  19. I just tested again with my set using sfiii3n.zip and it works perfectly fine, maybe there is more than one.
  20. That's pretty low though of course those might be old requirements and newer versions have increased the requirements. Mame has done this over the years.
  21. That does seem to be a tad on the low side for Demul, but of course I don't know for sure.
  22. I don't know what your system specs are but Demul is a little heavy on the CPU requirements.
  23. Yeah Redream isn't ready to replace Demul just yet but it is very promising and if it keeps seeing development and improvements it shouldn't be too long before it is the Dreamcast emulator of choice. If it's only happening with that game it could very well just be that game having some slight emulator issues in Demul. When an emulator is not 100% you are bound to bound to run into oddball issues with certain games and that sounds like what is happening there. I could be wrong though and I am not sure of any compatibility / known issues list for it to check.
  24. Over the last few days I have been going through the BitBucket repository and have noticed on a couple of occasions people attaching their license file to the post. This is a very bad idea as anyone can just download and use that license file in their Launchbox and also exposes your personal information like your full name and email. Another thing that could happen if your license file does get downloaded by some less than scrupulous person they could mass share your license file which could then cause it to get black listed blocking your license from being eligible for future updates.
