  1. The default keybinds for it would be F1 on the keyboard or the "guide" button on an Xbox controller.
  2. I would just advise you find a complete Mame rom set, check the internet archive. It will contain the complete NeoGeo rom set and you can use the playlist generator in Launchbox in the Mame full set importer to make a NeoGeo playlist. Most NeoGeo rom sets out there are old and outdated and may not work in newer emulators.
  3. Yeah it sounds like you got some mixed rom set from somewhere so that's not good. This should only be used with a proper full rom set, otherwise you will have games imported that you don't actually have. A proper full Mame set has A LOT of files in it but you will never get all those into Launchbox depending on your import settings. Many of the rom files in a complete set are fruit machine and video poker type games and then on top of that you have all of the regional roms (aka: clones). Launchbox by default will not import the fruit machine and gambling games and for the clones it should import them under the main front facing rom based on the region you chose to prioritize so they will not count towards the total number of games at the bottom of Launchbox. Do not use the full set importer for consoles, it will not work and there are no console roms in a proper Mame rom set, only arcade games. For consoles you want to look for No-Intro sets for cartridge based systems and Redump for CD based systems.
  4. If you have a full Mame rom set (not Software list set) then all the NeoGeo games are included in that set and will work perfectly fine. If you are using Mame for consoles I would really advise against it in 99% of the cases.
  5. V is the default key from what I remember.
  6. If you have 2 different platforms you can import the same roms to both without issue, force importing duplicates doesn't apply in this scenario.
  7. This is a game by game thing, different arcade cabinets were setup different.
  8. Yeah, no reason at all to use ePSXe anymore, Mednafen (stand alone or Retroarch core) and Duckstation if you prefer an easy to use stand alone emulator are far better.
  9. So you pirated Launchbox and now you want help from us how to use a "product key" ? There are free front ends out there, I suggest you use one of those instead. Thread closed.
  10. I would advise you email support@unbrokensoftware.com about your issue. We can't help you here and on top of that Launchbox does not use a "product key" unless something has changed very recently that Jason has not made anyone aware of. You should have received a license.xml file in your email and if you did not then support will be able to get your sorted out.
  11. Just be aware that if you do this it will only import the file that was imported into LB, it won't delete any extra files like for example any cd based games that use the cue + bin format. So if you imported the cue file it won't delete the bin file.
  12. Updated to include Duckstation for Playstation emulation, it is now the better choice over ePSXe though it does require the use of bios while ePSXe does not.
  13. Yes it's still relevant and you will need whatever dependencies required.
  14. Probably because of ease of implementation since the achievement and Steam stuff was already there. You don't need to understand any of the moderators thinking at all. There is only one persons thinking you need to concern yourself with at all and that is Jasons. He is the one who does the work and makes the decisions, not us. It's not ignored, it's just prioritized which has to be done or it all becomes a total mess.
  15. It's quite possible that it didn't import duplicate games even though they may have had a different name. It's also possible there may be games missing from the DB.
  16. Hopefully this is what you are looking for. Under Tools > Options > Media > Background Priorities you can set what sort of background image you see.
  17. Best way is to get a complete Mame rom set that you know what version it is and get the matching version of Mame for it. No.
  18. You can use your license on as many PCs as you own, you do not need to purchase multiple licenses, you just copy the license.xml file to your other PC into the Launchbox installation folder.
  19. You can see what has been completed from the last poll here: The top 20 items will be done and the bottom 20 won't be done unless they make it to the next poll and receive enough votes. Jason has crossed off the completed items though as of this post the Wall View Overhaul hasn't been crossed off but it was just added.
  20. New poll when the stuff from the last poll is done.
  21. There is no reason to not use Mame other than you have a crap CPU that cannot run Mame but can run FBA/FBN.
  22. Why is this ridiculous ? It's pretty simple to know what file an emulator needs and using the search function like @neil9000 said works easily.
  23. What ? You posted in a 4 year old thread about a no longer existing core in a web player that has nothing to do with us.
