    Question

Like I said, my collection of 3DS games is very small. It isn't easy finding decrypted roms and you need these for emulation. Maybe some other games out there load and play better and I am quite sure that this emulator will become very good relatively quickly (within a year). Progress is seemingly moving along extremely well which is always a good thing. Maybe there is some magic nightly build that works but the latest official build and the latest EmuCR builds are still way too slow on the games I have. They do all boot though. Correction: with the latest nightly build only Mario and Link Between Worlds boot, other 3 are just black screens and errors. The games I have to try out is: Kid Icarus Zelda, A Link Between Worlds Zelda, Majoras Mask StarFox Mario 3D Land
  2. In your config change the line system_directory = ":\retroarch\system" to system_directory = ":\system" Try that and see what happens.
  3. If neither Sega CD or Playstation is working then my next guess if your /system folder location isn't set right in Retroarch. Go to the "settings" menu (the cogwheel) and scroll all the way down to "Directory", go in there and the very first setting "System/BIOS" check that and make it is pointing to the /system folder in your Retroarch install folder.

    Question

I did see it and I tried it out with the small collection of games I have and while they load they are still unplayable and no controller support.

    Question

It's definitely an emulator to keep an eye on and hopefully in the semi near future it will be in what I would call a usable state but for right now it isn't. Even on my 4 GHz system games like Mario, Zelda and StarFox are unplayably slow. Some games will be playable at full or near full speeds but that will be on a game by game basis for now. Check back in on it in a few months to a year. Best bet if you really want to play 3DS right now is to get a used 3DS and buy used games since they are actually affordable or buy a Gateway backup card to "try" games out The DS and 3DS with their stylus touch controls really don't translate well to a normal controller. Obviously some games don't make extensive use of the touch screen and those would be extremely playable.

    Question

There's nothing to get into at the moment. Yeah the Citra emulator can run some games but it doesn't have working joypad controls yet and its extremely buggy. It needs more time to mature before the 3DS is worth worrying about.

    Question

What sort of information are you looking for ?

    PSP

I don't know if this is the correct explanation for this but it's the best way to think of it. You are missing a ppsspp folder in your retroarch/system folder. In this folder are a bunch of files which act in essence like a bios file for the Retroarch PPSSPP core. You are better off emulating the PSP using the stand alone PPSSPP instead of the RA core.
  9. Cool. Yeah Retroarch wants most bios files located in the /system folder. Only ones I can think of off the top of my head that it doesn't look there is neogeo.
  10. Zipped should be fine as long as it is cue + bin inside the zip file. I won't swear to it though since I do not have mine zipped, i have all my cd image games unzipped.
  11. Retroarch wants cue + bin disk images. You also need the correct bios syscard3.pce in the /system folder.
  12. Yeah don't use Magic Engine. It is very outdated and outclassed by Mednafen and the Retroarch Mednafen PCE Fast core.
  13. Here's my list, there is quite a bit in there that isn't actually in use but I just just haven't removed them from the list. I leave them in there for testing purposes at times or for specific games.
  14. Nope. There is a Playstation version as well if you are interested in that.
  15. Don't know if it's the same version of the game though.
  16. No problem. Enjoy it, it's a great game.
  17. It does not need any motion control at all.
  18. Seems weird that you got it that far but not quite working. If it's possible to do then it must be some setting in the emulator and there are a lot of settings in XM6.
  19. Yeah it seems like it should work, ill let you figure it out since I have zero experience with Munt
  20. I figured out how to get it to launch full screen. In the Resume tab of the options screen turn on Resume Window, use Alt + Enter to go into full screen mode and then use Alt F4 to close out the emulator. Next time it boots it will boot into full screen or whatever the last state was when closed out.
  21. Cool man. I have toyed with this specific emulator (and other X68k emus) in the past. Rebinding controls is clunky as hell and with the X-Box 360 controller I couldn't figure out how to use the d-pad instead of the left analog stick but I will look at it again some more. I could use my Hori FC4 but I ran into the same issue with the d-pad. On the Hori controller I there is a switch to make the d-pad work as a d-pad, left analog or right analog stick. Setting it to the left analog stick makes it function fine. Will be interested in hearing more on the Munt thing later though. Without Munt setup I will stick to using Mess just because of the HLSL shaders and the full screen.
  22. Oooh, that would be nice to have it working with a better emulator, though Mess with HLSL shaders isn't bad and has it's benefits.
  23. Cool, the real question though is will you be able to get that emulator to work with Launchbox ?
