  1. Great work! You're getting one step closer to making RocketLauncher become completely redundant, which is certainly a good thing For what it's worth, RocketLauncher is a very fine addition to LaunchBox but its lack of updates and some other nuances such as the need for modules make it somewhat frustrating. I tried out the new pause feature with retroarch and mame, and so far everything seems pretty good!
  2. No worries! Any theme editor is certainly a welcome addition to BigBox and looking forward to see its release ?
  3. This is coming along very nicely! Just wondering, will it be able to work with existing themes? For example, I want to change or move some elements with another theme, I can modify them with PASC CE?
  4. To reiterate what Lordmonkus very well pointed out, you're totally in the wrong place for anything related to raspberry pi. However, Launchbox and BigBox are a whole lot better in my opinion, while using a standard PC/laptoo setup. Having said that, it will take some time and effort to get it set up on your computer, but it's well worth it in the end. There's plenty of helpful people here as well as youtube tutorials and such. Good luck with your new adventures in emulation!
  5. Totally agree. I've messed with the retroarch mame core with non-arcade games on several occassions and honestly, it's a major hassle. For now i'd say it's really not worth all the wasted time since the standalone version of mame is a whole lot easier to get up and running
  6. +1 on this idea?
  7. Definitely going to check this out soon. Thanks a lot for sharing such an awesome c64 creation!
  8. @Solo I believe there's another thread on this forum (if you do a search) as a lot of people have asked how to use Phoenix, since it's considered to be not only the best 3DO emulator but the Atari Jaguar as well surprisingly. But I believe you have to create a profile for each individual game you have within the emulator itself before you can run them through launchbox. However if there's a more simple way, i'd definitely like to know too?
  9. As far as I know, that option is not available while using bulk edit. However, this is a feature that's been requested by several members on several occasions, including myself? For now, the only way to do this is to manually edit each game, and drop the image into the artwork window and assign it "Box - Front"; kind of a tedious process but certainly better than nothing
  10. Not sure who said that you've "got no talent" but I can guess that it's probably one of the other so-called media creators who lurks around here, or just other grumpy users who have nothing better to do than criticizing and complaining about other people's work. At any rate, keep doing what you're doing and thanks for always contributing some excellent stuff here!
  11. One ideal way you could organize consoles is by generation. There's a fairly basic but good explanation of this here: https://www.quora.com/How-are-video-game-console-generations-defined-Who-defines-them For example: 1st Generation: Magnavox Odyssey 2nd Generation: Mattel Intellivision, Atari 2600 3rd Generation: Nintendo NES, Sega Master System, Atari and so on More in-depth coverage on this subject can be found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_home_video_game_consoles
  12. A little weird, but very cool at the same time!
  13. That would be awesome to see such a start-up video come to life! That HBO intro used to always get me extremely hyped up for whatever movie was coming on within the next 60 seconds
  14. Just curious, do you happen to know the command line to make Winape start full screen?
  15. No worries! Glad you got it figured out
  16. More than likely what you need to do is deselect "Advertisement Flyer - Front" from "Box Front Priorities" and "3D Box Priorities" in the LaunchBox options screen as shown below
  17. Just downloaded now and it's working great. Thank you!
  18. @Retro808 I'm also having issues using this startup theme. The games won't start and my mouse-pointer also disappears. The only way I can get the pointer to reappear is by restarting the system. Maybe there's an error somewhere in the code?
  19. @RetroHumanoid Great work once again! Thanks a lot for the update!
  20. @faeran you've done it again! Great work
  21. Seoul, South Korea (but originally from Northern California) ?
Simple, easy and very nice to look at. Great work!
  22. No worries! There's probably more out there but these were just the first two I could find.
  23. Not too difficult to find. Try emumovies or hyperspin's forums for box artwork. But here's the Europe box and USA box in glorious 3D
  24. Nicely done! Thank you for sharing this
