  1. One small bug I noticed just now. After adding a sub-category under Atari 7800 within the category "Classics". It doesn't show all systems within the folder-tree like before, as shown here. Even after I remove the same sub-category, it still reads "No results were found". Nothing major but certainly noticeable?
  2. These are perfect! Thank you for sharing
  3. My problem seems to be solved now too! Although I had to delete and recreate some xml files in order to clean up the error messages. Nevertheless, we're running normal again with the new features going well so far. Thank you!
  4. Not sure how you did that because after I created a playlist and try to put it in a sub-category, my platforms are all still missing with launchbox crashing everytime I touch the platforms section. I guess it will be fixed in the next beta though
  5. Thanks. I tried that and it does make launchbox functional again, but the platform categories are still missing and the program crashes when I select them
  6. Oops! @Jason Carr I got the same error as @neil9000 after deleting a platform category. And even after I restored my (backup) data files and a reinstall of the latest update, the "platform category" section in LaunchBox is now empty and when I try to add anything to a platform category, I get the same error message?
  7. Sure, if that's possible? But if it's in any way overly complicated don't worry about it and I'm already happy with the way the theme is now
  8. Any of them would be good, but the one I use the most is the TextGamesView?
  9. @faeran just wondering if you'll ever implement platform background videos in this theme? I have about 10-15 themes installed within launchbox, but this is the one I use the absolute most? It would be great to use Viking's platform videos in the background
  10. No problem! Glad to hear you got it working
  11. Can you be a little more specific about your particular issue? For example, is there an error message that pops up? You may need to reinstall the update program file, which is in the "updates" folder within your original launchbox folder. The latest is "LaunchBox-8.7-beta-3-Setup"
  12. The Commodore 64 PP files are what come included in the no-intro set, and I'm equally puzzled why these were chosen instead of more convenient formats such as d64, prg, etc.
  13. No worries! Glad you got it figured out
  14. There should be a file named "portable" and it reads something like this: # Replace 0 with 1 below to make portable 0 Try that and check what happens ?
  15. Works fine here. Be sure to set up the bios file (5200.bin) in the configuration of kat5200 and you should be ready
  16. I've also requested/asked about this exact same idea a few times in the past. It'll get there someday
  17. ProSystem is easy to set up with LaunchBox. Just set it up like any other emulator, and it doesn't require any special command lines. However, FYI the retroarch core seems to have better compatibility from my experience
  18. Thanks a lot for the tip! After I renamed it in RetrotasticLoading.xml it's now working fine
  19. @faeran i'm getting the same error as mentioned above, right after I select a system (Atari 2600, NES, etc.)
  20. No worries! Glad to hear you got it figured out
  21. Okay, but it's a little odd that you have those white boxes behind the 2 logos (on the right side) which isn't very common with a .png file, whereas your "Nintendo Entertainment System" logo has a clear background. You may want to edit those logos in photoshop (or similar program) and make sure they're saved properly as png files
  22. Odd? I'd just check again to make sure the image is in the right folder, with the filename spelled perfectly, case sensitive like this example. And be sure to refresh your images in the image cache (options) C:\launchbox\Images\Platforms\Bally Astrocade\Clear Logo\Bally Astrocade.png
  23. Yep, that's exactly what I was referring to, as I was in the same situation before. Just out of curiosity, is it a .jpg or .png? From my experience, jpegs don't always work
  24. I think I had the same issue as you a while back with this theme and others as well. You should put the system logo in the folder "Images" >> "Platforms" >> "Famicom Disk System" just like you would with any other, but make sure that the logo filename is exactly the same as the system name. For example, if you have a filename "logo.png" or "famicom.png" it won't work. However "Famicom Disk System.png" (or .jpg) should work
  25. It's probably not necessary anymore. Just set up an emulator named "Rocket Launcher" and then add the following to the "Default Command Line Parameters": -f "%launchboxorbigboxexepath%" -p "LaunchBox" -s "%platform%" -r Then add the corresponding systems in the "Associated Platforms Tab" and you should be ready
