  1. Holy moly! These are great! Thanks so much, sir!
Wow, I am absolutely floored at your effort and resultant quality of this pack. You have done a great service to the community. Can't thank you enough.
  2. It is possible you are experiencing a corruption in the xml file for those platforms. As a test, why don't you create another platform for NES or TG16 making sure to name it differently, but use the scrape as option to make sure items are imported correctly. If everything works after doing that, this would prove the theory. You could then delete the test platform as well as the original, then re-import. You could also run the platform xml files for these two platforms through an xml verify type app to see if any typical xml errors pop up.
  3. There is a Steam logo in Viking's original Silver Ring Game_Computer_v.2.2 archive.
  4. You only need to rename the cfg files found under ...\retroarch\config\<core name>. Do not edit the contents of the cfg files. As long as the name of the sub-directory matches the core name you are using, that should be it.
  5. What emulator are you using? Should work with full MAME with its Software List files for ABC80 and the MAME bios files.
  6. You realize the universe is working frantically to create more games so your effort will never be complete. ?
  7. Yes, false positive. The cause is unknown, but often because the app is new, it hasn't been installed in great numbers, and therefore seen by the anti-virus engines very often, etc.
  8. Thanks for that catch. I have corrected the directory structure.
  9. Yep, the project you reference is pretty much complete. You can download the files here: https://archive.org/details/retrogamingmarquees
  10. I wondered if there were any for previous years. I'll have to do the same.
  11. Wow, thanks for that project link. That is a new one one me. I'm a huge Vectrex fan, so this makes me very happy. You work here also is at the top of my appreciation list. Great job.
  12. Very nice! Looking forward to seeing more!
  13. Some use Git to provide a download link(s) and which repo the files are submitted for. Some others use the official Facebook group. Members of the group can provide the same type of info after being approved for membership. https://www.facebook.com/groups/169088950389693/
  14. The app creates a backup for native MAME called artwork_BPSave in the same MAME directory. I wish there was an easy way of having the app successfully combine things, but I haven't been able to do that yet.
  15. The Bezel Project installers, both for Windows and Retropie, only install bezels that are part of the project on Github.
  16. Normally when this result shows up, the name of the core you are using does not match the name the project uses and installs under retroarch\config\. Make sure you rename the correct directory under config to match the core name being used.
  17. I have released V1.1.8 which hopefully fixes the native MAME looping issue. Please let me know how you get along with it.
  18. I can affirm this is a false positive. Create an exception for the install directory and you should be good.
  19. Update: I am working with a user that has this problem. Hopefully we are close to a fix.
  20. Yep, I'm the dev. The issue for installing against native MAME has been reported, and, no, it shouldn't keep counting up with the percentage. If you kill the app via task manager, the files should actually be installed, but the tag in the ini file won't be updated (that tells the app MAME is installed). I am currently working with two different users on what is going on. I can't replicate the issue here on any machine I have. I have done a ton of tests, but nothing that points out what the issue is.
  21. I have looked in to this, actually. The problem I found was the directory names can change over time, and by different versions of Retroarch. Because of this, you would still require a manual renaming at different times.
  22. You need to create content directory overrides in Retroarch if you are using a core for multiple systems. Ref: https://docs.libretro.com/guides/overrides/
  23. Sounds like you have 'save on exit' set to true in Retroarch. If so, toggle it to off/false. This means you will have to manually save the default settings to retroarch.cfg manually, when/if needed. To reset the behavior you are seeing, exit Retroarch, then edit retroarch.cfg in your text editor of choice. Search for input_overlay and see if you have a value save there. If so, delete the value, then save/exit your edit session.
