  1. Then adjust that as well to your liking. Thats why the settings are there you can mess with them to get the look you like.
  2. The view in your second image is the Text List View, and it is just that, a text list. If you want clear logos instead of text you will need to cycle to a different view in the theme that supports clear logos.
  3. Platform View: Platform Wheel 2. Game View: Vertical View 4. Easy.
  4. See this is exactly the problem. You have asked for advice, it has been given, you ignore it and continue to ask the same question that has already been answered. You clearly cant be helped, good riddance.
  5. Launchbox is not a UWP app, so its not possible. As MVG clearly points out in the video he is using Retroarch which has a UWP app for the original XBOX ONE, which is whats being used here, in backwards compatibility mode so you dont have full access to the extra power of the systems in that mode.. This is not new information as its been possible since 2013.
  6. If you dont have clear logos then Bigbox will default to standard white text. So you would need to delete the Playlist clear logos you currently have. Launchbox/Images/Playlists/Name of Playlist/Clear Logo.
  7. All themes have multiple views, and they all have to have a text list view, which is what you want. Either set it in the options, or set a button/key to "switch view" in the mapping options and use that to switch view on the fly.
  8. Id recommend CHD personally. Also i wouldnt use the PCSX rearmed core, thats not very good and is really for use on Arm devices, hence the name. You should use one of the Beetle/Mednafen cores.
  9. There are no tutorials for general options in the UI, as that is entirely up to the user, in this case you. How i have my options set as well as the actual theme i use is probably very different to you, so if i was to make a tutorial with my settings, it would be completely irrelevant to you. We have options so you can make it look how YOU want it to, we cant make a tutorial for that as only you know what you want. Just mess with the settings, they are pretty self exoplanetary as to what they are going to change.
  10. If you were already on the text list view from another theme, then any new theme you switch to will also be on that view type. We also have new per theme settings as well as global so id also look at those.
  11. Well thats a completely different theme, so of course it looks different.
  12. Every single theme has a view like the one in your image. Also you are viewing playlists there, i dont use those so not sure how different they are to platforms, they may be list only, i dont know.
  13. Provided support for this issue on discord.
  14. The ._ is something that MacOS adds to all files, this is hidden in MacOS, but not on Windows. So i assume you used a mac somewhere in your workflow?
  15. @MPL Can you right click a N64 game and go to edit, then post images of both the Launching and Emulators tabs, as seen below. Actually can i see one of your Retroacrh entry in manage emulators.
  16. Because "Scrape As" is for scraping metadata and media from the database, hence the name. It is only used in that case, as indicated by the name of the option.
  17. Not at all, it has to be this way otherwise how would Launchbox no what emulator to use for each system. If you call the platform snes but the associated platform is called Super Nintendo Entertainment System then Launchbox doesnt know what emulator it needs to use for your snes platform. The program isnt psychic it doesnt know what emulators are for what systems, you need to tell it "i want to use this emulator for this system". You change the name of the system you need to change the associations as well. Go rename your platforms on something like Retropie or Batocera and the like, and see how quickly the whole thing completely breaks there, at least Launchbox allows you to change those settings in it's UI.
  18. Do you have any backups or duplicates in your Launchbox/Data/Platforms folder, also do you use screenscraper?
  19. Most people dont use the Windows store version. Cant you just find the .exe right click it and create a shortcut on the desktop? Then just drag and drop that to Launchbox?
  20. Do you have a full MAME romset and did you use the Launchbox MAME fulset importer?
  21. Cool. That dropdown is showing the cores you actually have downloaded in your Retroarch/cores folder.
  22. You just need to add it in the empty cell at the bottom of that associated platforms list.
  23. Yeah thats for Bigbox itself, as you have discovered. You want "close active window" or something like that.
