That doesnt sound right, Launchbox isnt touching the roms. The hi score feature is handled by MAME and the hiscore plugin as well as hi2txt. Ill pass this on to Jason though.

No just ad it as a emulator in launchbox and specify Arcade as the associated platform, then when you right click a game and go to "Launch with" you will have the options of RocketLauncher or MAME. No need to touch your roms at all.

Can you try with standard MAME? Im suspecting this may be related to you using a fork rather than the official release.

You will need to download clear logos for those systems and place them in Launchbox/Images/Platforms/name of platform/Clear Logo folder. While some images are included in the Launchbox installer not everything is covered, and platform art is not scraped, only game art is.

MAME has native bezel support, so you really dont need rocketlauncher for that specific feature.

PSP is also perfect when using adrenaline.

Can you change the directory path in the MAME UI to look at the hi folder instead?

Yeah that specific game looks broken, i just got on the leaderboard but it doesnt show in Launchbox. All the other games i have tried work fine, so its specifically that game in this case. I placed third on the in game leaderboard.

Yeah the score wont be submitted if it doesnt beat your own previous score, even if it's good enough to get onto the leaderboard. Your highest score is the only one submitted, so as you got that score before high scores were implemented you need to beat that score to get on the leaderboard now.

cant really help there, you have as we said earlier a very weird format, just be happy that they work at all.

You dont you tell Launchbox what core to load and it does. Because you have a .bin file, so it suggests cores that work with .bin. Just go to load core and load it, then load content, not that you need that if you get your Launchbox sorted before confusing matters.

mednafen and beetle are the same, its called beetle in the UI, but the actual core name is still mednafen.

Agreed. The "armed" part of "reARMed" refers to the "arm" processor, which is what phones and the pi use. That core/emulator uses hacks to make it run well on phones. So the same hacks are still in it on PC also.

Also dont use the re-armed core, its shit and designed for phones.
