  1. Software lists are not supported in Launchbox currently. So it is likely thinking those are Arcade games due to the shortnames.
  2. They can be downloaded from within Launchbox, Tools/Download Theme/Playlist videos. Be sure if you are after the Unified versions to use the dropdown at the bottom of the window to prioritize that style.
  3. What version of MAME are you using? And does the romset version match?
  4. How are you actually importing your FBA full set?
  5. You can import the platform with any name you like, but that is the "Associated Platform" name you have to use so that they match. I simply called mine FBA as i already have two Arcade platforms using MAME (one for controller use and another for arcade stick use). Agoin if you provide some images it will be easier to diagnose the error you have made. I only setup that FBA platform yesterday and it is using the retroarch fbaneo core, so it definitely works if your settings are correct.
  6. Some images might help us to spot any errors. The core is also called fba neo now, do you have that one downloaded and referenced in associated platforms? Commandlines are not needed these days, that is what the dropdown where you pick the core actually is, its a easier way for users to specify the core commandline.
  7. RocketLauncher is likely overriding the setting. Have a look in RocketLauncher for the setting.
  8. Yeah it may just be a oversight by @Jason Carr, but i believe the way it currently works is it scans the platform.xml and matches that against image names and deletes images that dont have a matching game in the platform.xml. So i guess if you deleted a platform there is no platform.xml to match against so it does nothing. I guess the way it should work is if there is no platform.xml for a platform it should delete all media for that platform,
  9. To be honest if you are deleting the whole platform you can just go and delete the whole image folder, which is quicker and easier. So in this case just go to Launchbox/Images and delete the whole gameboy folder. The clean up images tool is more for removing duplicate images and images for individual games that have been deleted. Hence "Cleanup Media" and not "Delete Platform Media" or similar.
  10. Yeah you will just want to use the standard emumovies platform montage videos with this theme, then it will look like Vikings platform videos.
  11. Its probably due to your image priority settings in Launchbox, its falling back to a disc image when another image is not available, per your settings.
  12. No chance, how would you add your roms to it when its completely locked down and has no file explorer?
  13. Yup, as well as things like different Kickstart versions for Amiga, some games will require loading to specific bios versions and while that is totally doable it is more on the advanced side of things to get it so that just double clicking a game in Launchbox loads the game with the correct bios/kickstarts, correct Amiga specific settings like RAM size used, whether a virtual HDD needs to be used for that specific game, things like that.
  14. Also i should add that those systems are some of the trickiest to get going, old computer systems can be problematic and have strange quirks. You would be better off doing consoles first as you learn the program. Consoles are usuall a case of adding the emulator pointing Launchbox at its .exe then pointing Launchbox at that systems rom folder. Computer systems can need a lot of tweaking and options checking to get working correctly. Start simple with consoles and work your way up to computer systems.
  15. 1) That system should be fine for most things up to around PS1 N64 era at there native resolutions, you wont be able to do any upscaling on the 3D systems or use any shaders though due to your lack of a GPU. 2) Emulator choice is a personal preference thing. Personally i use retroarch for most of my systems and use the standalone emulators for some select systems, like PSP, MAME, Dreamcast, Gamecube/Wii, Wii U, although those last four will probably not run with your system specs. RocketLauncher is not a emulator, its a backend, so you would still need to setup the emulators, so i would ignore it as it adds a extra step and added complexity, but if it has a feature you desperately want/need then feel free, i personally avoid it. 3) Gameplay game video snaps come from Emumovies and require a premium account with them to scrape in Launchbox, the Platform videos are available from within Launchbox. I should state though that you do not get video playback of any sort with the free version, videos are a Launchbox Premium feature only. 4) This is the tutorials playlist from our youtube channel.

Launchbox does nothing of the sort. It is probably Steam doing that if you have it installed.

Controls are set in the game, Launchbox has nothing to do with controls in games.
  18. What core are you trying to use? Genesisplusgx doesnt work with 32X, you need to use picodrive for that platform. Also there really is no benefit to having files that small compressed.
  19. That doesnt sound right, Launchbox should not be hiding the taskbar. What happens if you grab the window at the top with your mouse and drag it to the top of the monitor?
  20. Surely its best to just let the users language settings decide?
  21. Sort of, but not exactly. If you want retroarch to unzip for some patforms but not for others you will need two retroarch emulators in Launchbox, but you do not need two copies of retroarch. Just create another emulator in Launchbox and call it something like "Retroarch Zip" and point it to your existing retroarch install. Just be sure to check the unzip box, then tell the games in that platform to use that emulator instead.
