  1. Well that error is saying it cant find your pcsx2 install in the path it specifys. Is that were your pcsx2 folder is?
  2. The second image is the game details screen, this can not be changed it always uses the list view as it is a list. I personally dont use that screen so just switch it off. As for the 3D boxes you could edit the xaml, but it is actually based on your priorities you have set in Launchbox, so change those.
  3. lol, well you would be surprised with how many posts we get that just say "retroarch works but not through launchbox, help".
  4. This is why we always ask for pictures when people have issues, it helps us out a great deal, so thanks for that.
  5. Spotted it!!! you have Retroarch set to unzip your games, arcade roms should never be unzipped, you just load the zip directly.
  6. Are you sure you are using the correct fba core in the associated platform dropdown, there is more than one in retroarch if i recall.
  7. Nothing i can see off the top of my head in all honesty, do the neogeo games load in retroarch by itself? I havent used fba before so dont know if it needs to know your rom path like MAME does, or that the neogeo.zip needs to be in the retroarch/system folder like other bios files. Also like i asked previously are these new imports or were you originally using a different emu for them?
  8. OK, sorry just noticed in your image, yeah your platforms are named differently to how they are in the associated platform tab, you must match them.
  9. Make sure that the platform name in the retroarch associated platform screen you posted EXACTLY matches how the platform is named in the left sidebar in Launchbox. For example in your image its called "SNK Neo Geo Pocket Color" so that must match the platform name in launchbox, it could for example just be called "Neo Geo Pocket Color" there so Launchbox will think they are different systems. Also were you originally launching these syatems with different emulators in Launchbox?
  10. You didn't create any controversy , i was simply saying that changing how the program works for everyone for one user isn't likely. That's not to say that it wouldn't be considered or could be added as a option in the settings to toggle but that is up to Jason. At the end of the day Jason focus's his development on the additions that many people want to see added, and i believe this is the best way to work with the community. Maybe this change can be added to the next poll for users to vote on, so that interest in it can be gauged.
  11. Do you have the correct mame romset, and do they work when just loading them from within mame.
  12. Yes but if you are using rocketlauncher then that has to be the emulator, not retroarch or mame.
  13. This is how it has always been, changing how the program works for just one person probably isn't on the cards if i'm honest. If enough people all feel it should be changed then maybe @Jason Carr would consider it, but i highly doubt it will be changed for everyone to appease one user i'm afraid.
  14. Did you specify Rocketlauncher as the emulator in the mame importer wizard?
  15. Yeah i believe that is by design, so it is working as intended.
  16. Sorry i couldn't of been more help here. Just a thought though are your two screens different resolutions or DPI settings to each other? If so you could try setting them so they are both the same, windows can have issues with different res/dpi screens.
  17. Hmm yeah i'm not sure what to tell you, setting it to screen 2 "should just work" i used to do it myself but have since gone back to a just a TV setup instead of monitor and TV. As for using bigbox and the computer at the same time that doesnt actually work like that anyway, its actually a Windows issue if you click on the screen that has the desktop on it it will take focus away from the second screen, so bigbox will just pause on the screen until you click on that screen to give it back focus. This is a Windows limitation im afraid so you couldnt be running attract mode for example while also browsing the web on the other screen as clicking will take the screen focus.
  18. That looks like you also have marquees on in the options and they are both trying to use the same display, try turning off marquees and see if that helps.
  19. Correct, the reason it wont skip immediately is simply because Bigbox hasn't yet loaded. Bigbox obviously needs to be loaded in order to skip the video to Bigbox.
  20. hmmmmm, i wouldnt count on i...
  21. Ill tag @Lordmonkus here as i know he uses Groovy MAME himself, may be two or three hours until he is around to answer though.
  22. There is just the one update pack, (well two as there may be a CHD update as well), thats why you need to use clrmamepro as that will move the files to the correct zips, you just tell clrmamepro what romset type you are currently using, so in your case non-merged and it will add the new/changed/renamed files into the correct zips. This varies depending on what set type you have as to where the new files need to go. Hence why it is not as simple as copying and pasting the new files.
  23. MAME is updated the last Wednesday of every month. There are two ways of updating to the new version, 1. like you said you could just download the new full pack and delete your old one. 2. they also release a update pack every month which just contains the new/changed files, however you will need to use clrmamepro to update your existing set with the new update pack, here is a guide. As for updating in Launchbox, once you have your roms updated, or a whole new set, just run the fullset importer again pointing it to your new rom folder, you can usually uncheck all the media downloads also as you will already have 99.9% of it.
  24. God yeah, i never have that on. You dont want retroarch saving configs unless you specify it.
