  1. Hi and welcome to the community. The configure option in the right click menu is for DOSBOX games really and not emulated games. Any emulator needs it settings setup in the emulator itself first, in your case retroarch, so you will need to set everything up there then save a core overide in the Retroarch UI. That config will then be autoloaded everytime that core is loaded in Retroarch.
  2. Yeah there seems to be a weird bug with MAMEUI that when a game is loaded via the command line rather than its own UI the mame.ini in the ini folder isnt read for some reason, so it needs to be copied to the root folder then its read as normal, strange but there you go. Glad you got it all working now.
  3. Well all the image downloads have checkboxes on them, just uncheck the image types you dont want. So for example uncheck everything except Box-Front and only box front images will be downloaded. Then if you have games missing box-front after you can highlight all those games missing the image and specify a different image type for those games by unchecking box-front and checking the box on a different image type.
  4. You can use the audit tool. Just click on the platform in the sidebar then go to Tools/Audit Name of Platform. When the audit window opens click on the database id which should bring all the games without database ids to the top of the list, you can then highlite them and right click and search for metadata/images which will open the wizard for just those highlighted games. See in this image scroll all the way to the right then click the "Launchbox Games Database ID" tag at the top to sort unmatched games to the top.
  5. Those rom paths there are correct though, that bottom image with your folder is Launchbox/Games/Sega Genesis, and in the screenshot above that the path is Games/Sega Genesis which is the same. Its the same in mine, and my setup is on my D drive, but Launchbox doesnt care as its in the Launchbox folder so is a relative path. The error in your first image is actually saying your emulator path isnt correct, not your rom path.
  6. That is actually correct, if everything was in the Launchbox folder it will use relative paths not absolute ones, so Games/ is just the games folder inside of the Launchbox folder, it doesnt actually need the drive letter as its looking inside of its own folder so the drive letter doesnt matter.
  7. I cant exactly help with this issue but no there is no option in Launchbox/Bigbox that will interfere with this unless you have specifically setup your mame emu with some sort of extra command lines. Although you say you are using MAMEUI, you can try copying the mame.ini out of the ini folder and into the root MAMEUI folder and see if that helps.
  8. There is a option in Options/Views to remember separate views per platform.
  9. Try going to your Launchbox/Updates folder and manually installing the newest update directly over the top of your current install.
  10. If you right click the game and go to edit, then the additional apps tab you can click on another version and then click the make default button, that will make it so that is the version loaded when you choose that game. Also you can edit the name there if you want also and change it to Space Invaders.
  11. Thats a plugin error with the theme you are using, did you unblock the .dll's in the theme name/plugins folder?
  12. Agreed, or as CHD's if that is available in the emu.
  13. ship it across seas. as im a MAME hater.
  14. Just WOW, thats all im saying here.

    WHY SO SECRETIVE

Its not a secret, we just can tell you exactly, there is a divide between fair use and blatant thievery. This software is completely above board, so any roms you load into it is up to you.
  16. lol, well i suppose thats sort of a win.
  17. It shouldnt really matter as Bigbox is only loading the images it needs for the theme you are using, at least i assume that is the case. Speaking of which have you tried any other themes? Try this one and see if your issues persist.
  18. Although looking at the download files it looks like they are all in the no filler 201.txt. So im guessing you can add the games you want in there and compile it as a batch file, but thats from someone who doesnt "actually" know.
  19. Unfortunately thats a question i cant answer as i know nothing about batch files. @Lordmonkus should be around in the next couple of hours, so if you hold tight for a bit i'm sure he can fill you in there.
  20. Ill field this one as i dont think @Lordmonkus will be around for a few hours. I think thats just a overlooked typo in the readme file, its for 0.201 he just hasnt edited the readme by the sounds of it, tsk tsk.
  21. With that few games i would lean towards a issue on your system with software conflicts or some such. Thats a very small amount of games really. EDIT: Especially if you are getting it with the keyboard also.
  22. You could do this with a playlist, just create a playlist with all games and add it as a root, it will show in the platform list. These features are currently available in the latest betas. Yeah that specifically i dont think is available, if its a favorite it shows at the top of the list, but isnt duplicated where it would normally be, its just moved to the top.
  23. Its a custom theme based on Critical cids unified theme, its still in development and is not released yet. EDIT: Actually its going to be a collection of themes for each platform.
