    Launchbox has no effect on controls in the emulators, you need to set your controller up in each emulator seperately. Thats why it works in Bigbox but not the games, you haven't set up the controller in the emulators you are using.

    Probably be easier just to scan that platform into retroarch, so that the list of games is in the main menu.

    Also Bigbox is a different .exe you need to specifically start it either from the Launchbox folder or the shortcut or from the menu in Launchbox. Launchbox and Bigbox themes cannot be mixed as they are designed for completely different UI's.

    Bigbox themes go in the Themes folder, Launchbox themes go in the LBThemes folder.

    Maybe, but they scrape from our database, i just uncheck 3D box from our database and grab them from emumovies.

    If you mean the snes one specifically, they are from emumovies, as you say the ones on our database are much more slanted, i dont like them personally.

    You can force it by adding those image types to either the Screenshot or Fanart image priorities.

    Hmm weird, i have used the fundamental theme a lot myself and have never had issues with the videos in it. I dont use Vikings 4:3 platform videos however, so it could be related to the videos or the aspect ratio somehow i guess.

    Well i have never heard that before, what theme are you using? You can try downloading a codec pack and switching back to WMP, WMP is missing codecs compared to VLC but can be added. Just do a google for K-LITE codec pack.

    Both apps give you the choice of VLC and WMP, and they are set separately in Bigbox and Launchbox.

    They will all be used, however you will need to copy the mame.ini from the inis folder into the root MAMEUI folder in order for it to be read when launching from Launchbox.

    Just go to tools/download platform/playlist videos and every platform has a dropdown with multiple choices of video including the unified ones. You can also use the dropdown at the bottom of the window to prioritize a video type.

    @Jeanvion Ill put this here as i cant comment on reviews. The platform videos are actually available directly in Launchbox, and will be named correctly already if downloaded from the program.

    Yeah if they are for RocketLauncher then they wont work with MAME. The bezels i have are on the emumovies ftp if you have access to that, i think the same ones are also posted in letter packs here on our forums. https://forums.launchbox-app.com/files/category/12-platform-bezelsoverlays/ As for sizes of the game screen, that can be adjusted inside the actual zip files, its not something i have ever done though and you would have to do it for every zip. Most have several views though, just use one that doesnt have the fake monitor bezel on it.

    While this is of course absolutely correct, you still wont be able to view them in the free version of Launchbox. Video playback of any description is a premium only feature.

    Actually the number discrepancy is more likely due to multi disc games. Final Fantasy 7 for example is 3 discs, but there will only be one entry in Launchbox as all three discs will be combined into the one game entry, if you right click it it will list all three discs. So you will lose two discs compared to you rom folder on just that game, and im sure there are many many more multi disc games in a full European set like that.

    So what you are saying is you wont believe any answer you receive on the matter? Then why even bother mentioning it? Jason is fully aware of what has been fixed and what hasn't. This specific issue hasn't been fixed yet as you were informed in the first response here. You can take or leave that feedback, no skin off our noses. However becoming combative over a honest response to your issue isnt on. I would be careful as to what else you say going forward.

    Also its worth checking that Launchbox is actually launching dkong.zip, it could be loading a different version that you dont have a bezel zip for.
