  1. I would love to try this out as well, i'm running Windows 10 insider builds if that is of any help to you.
  2. Unfortunately PLEX are removing plugin support from the program, so this likely wont be possible. https://www.plex.tv/blog/subtitles-and-sunsets-big-improvements-little-housekeeping/
  3. Agreed, i have a default that is set on my arcade stick, its setup like street fighter 2. I have buttons 1,2 and 3 on the top row, then 4, 5, and 6 on the bottom. That works for 99.9% of games. Then the odd balls that dont i do a machine controller bind.
  4. The bezel covers the empty space, the original game would be a tiny window on your "fancy new screen". it is likely a 240p image, so if you want the original size, you likely coulndnt see if from 5 foot away.
  5. Im a littlle confused as to what you are asking. MAME supports any controller, but it needs to be set in the MAME UI itself. You seem to understand the difference between machine and general controls. That sounds wrong to me, i have no idea what "AldousHxlE" is. You have pressed "TAB" on your keyboard right with a game loaded?
  6. Yep agreed, i have mentioned it myself to Jason before, but its something far outside the scope of a small thing im afraid. Have a look here, if its been proposed before upvote it, if not create a new feature request, then fingers crossed. https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/new
  7. Thanks so much @RetroHumanoid, i would of tagged cid but i think he is on vacation or something. I assumed you would know as you were in the code at the moment. thanks.
  8. Ill chime in here as no one has answered yet, but im not exactly sure as its not my forte, but i believe it has to do with editing the view you want to change then its either the camera control or Z axis. im not sure exactly though. Just copy your view elsewhere first then experiment. Hopefully someone else much more knowledgeable than me can explicitly say where. Maybe @RetroHumanoid if he is around.
  9. Im guessing it only moves specifically the roms it imports to the Launchbox folder, but i have never tested it that way. Do you know what romset type you have, merged, non-merged, split? As you are using the old importer it may not move everything correctly. Any insight here @DOS76 you ran a split set with the old importer right?
  10. Yeah i dont have that version imported in mine, but i skipped hacks as @DOS76 said.
  11. I dont have any satellaview in my setup, but if they are showing as different disks essentially then i would import the separately then hold CTRL and click on each one and combine them, making sure to assign the 1st disc as the front facing rom.
  12. Open Bigbox and go to Options/Security where you can set a pin code to prevent access to certain screens. Also the screen in your first image can be turned off completely. Options/Views/skip game details screen.
  13. Appologies, i thought he was saying not to load in the box image and such as its going to be in the game details screen anyway.
  14. Not everyone uses the game details view though, i dont. So i would want that loading there always.
  15. No probs, glad i could help out.
  16. In Launchbox go to tools/download Platform/Playlist videos.
  17. A lot of themes use platform videos as the background, Unified included. Do you have any platform videos downloaded?
  18. Wait what, you know what i like??? There are many great themes and theme makers on here, and i chop and change mine quite regularly so that i can freshen my Bigbox up.
  19. Yeah if you uncheck all media downloads (leave the metadata download box checked) then a new import will only take a couple of minutes.
  20. To be honest the quickest method would probably be to delete the platform and re-import it specifying Retroarch in the wizard. You would uncheck all of the media downloads as you already have it all, so it will re-attach after.
  21. Yes, just update your set then re-run the fullset wizard.
  22. Text will likely always look blocky as its using sprites and images which cant be upscaled, its the 3D stuff that is upscaled to a higher resolution. What exactly do you mean by the FPS is tanking, a lot of N64 games ran at a very low framerate originally, take Wave Race 64 for example thats a 20 FPS game on original hardware. So it could just be bond has a low framerate.
  23. You dont need to add that there that is what the associated platform tab is for. If you add it where you have retroarch wont work for other systems as it will always load the neo geo pocket core. I think what may be happening here is you were previously using a different emulator maybe, or a Retroarch with a different path, in which case you need to bulk edit the games to use a different emulator, just adding it and putting in the platform wont automatically change the emulator the games use. Click on a game in the platform then use CTRL A to highlight all the games in the platform, right click one and go to edit, this will open the bulk edit wizard. Click next, then in the first dropdown pick emulator, then in the second pich the actual emulator you want to use, finish out the wizard and try loading a game.
  24. These are not videos, they are background/borders for a in development theme.
