  1. What exactly is the problem? That isnt very descriptive to what is actually wrong at the moment, if you can explain a little better what the actual issue is i may be able to help more.
  2. I have been seeing this recently also, what i did was just specify it. On the page where you clicked the box to use the existing path for destination, uncheck it and actually put in the path above it.
  3. In both the system dropdown and the emulator dropdown you can just type anything you like into the empty box.
  4. What do you mean by corrupt? did you change some core settings and they no longer work? If so open your Retroarch folder and find the retroartch-core-options.cfg and open it in notepad or notepad++. Find the lines related to the core and just delete them all, and go to file and save. For example in this image i have highlighted all the Beetle PSX HW core options, then i can just hit delete and save, to restore that core to its defaults.
  5. lol, fair enough each to there own there. Launchbox is flexible enough though that different people can set it up the way they personally want it.
  6. Well the genre view is legacy at this point, it was there for a long time, but there are now better/easier ways to do that with auto populating playlists. You could do it for your entire library, or genres per platform, or genres before a certain year etc. Its much more flexible these days.
  7. You can just create a auto populated playlist for the genres, then they will show in with playlists and you can add art/videos.
  8. Mame/artwork. EDIT: As in the emu folder.
  9. It cant be done inside of the import wizard no. The easiest way would be to import the platform and uncheck the video download, then when everything is imported change the video path and run the metadata and image wizard to just grab the videos.
  10. Tools/Manage Platforms/Name of platform/folders tab/Videos, browse to another folder.
  11. The "unique name" needs to be different, thats the whole point of it, i think the nested name can be the same though. What i would do is call the unique name NES Racing or similar, then the nested name Racing, and make sure its nested under your "Nintendo Entertainment System"
  12. Use the tab menu then go to video.
  13. Where it says the vba core in the associated platform list for retroarch, that is a dropdown, double click on it and pick the core you want from the list.
  14. Are you using WMP as the player? That doesnt support webm natively you will either need to download a codec pack, or switch the video player to VLC.
  15. Yep, or in bigbox go to options/image cache/refresh images.
  16. Yeah it looks to be specific to your machine, i have never seen it personally and dont recall seeing it come up on the forums before either. I have seen antivirus software block the installer before, but that is usually limited to beta releases, official releases we run through online AV databases to ensure that most AV software doesnt block the installer. You can try turning your UAC settings down a notch and see it it still happens, otherwise i am at a bit of a loss here i'm afraid.
  17. Hmm, you are using the no-intro pack i see. So i wonder if thats conflicting somehow. I can assure you Launchbox is completely safe and its OK to to run it. Ill tag @Jason Carr here though in case its a installer issue, he will know far more than i do in that regard.
  18. Nope, i cant say i have ever seen that before with Launchbox. What does it say exactly? Any chance you can grab a shot of it?
  19. Just the email, have you checked your spam folder? Also if you still have the old Launchbox setup try looking in Launchbox/Updates for the installers.
  20. WOW, yeah thats not right, i have lower specs than you, (i5 3570k, 16GB DD3, GTX 1060 6GB) and i have never seen Bigbox anywhere near that bad. I would have to agree with what other people have said in here that there i s program/AV on your system interfering there some how. Have you tried disabling AV software while running Bigbox? does it behave the same if you do? If its still like that with AV off it could be another program interfering but narrowing that down could prove difficult. Your specs are very very good, so it has to be something specific to your system. EDIT: Also i have around 15,000 games in my setup, with perfect performance, so the fact that you get this performance with only 40 games is very strange.
  21. They are included in the image folder of this theme.
  22. All themes have several views you can cycle through, either set a button to switch view and use it, or go to options/views and uncheck the box for different view per platform.

    RetroFresh

Those should be Platform videos in the background, if you have premium go to tools/download platform/playlist videos.
