  1. Correct.
  2. @Jason Carr, VLC still crashes for me when trying to preview videos, and in fact any media on my pc. I am on windows 10 x64, however if I open the x86 VLC in the launchbox folder, then it plays media on my pc just fine, including previously downloaded platform videos. So not really sure what's going on there.
  3. Sorry my misunderstanding, I don't think that is possible with xpadder. If there was keyboard shortcuts for loading profiles it could be possible, but I don't think there are. That's why I use auto profiles, so when certain programs or emulators launch it auto switches.
  4. You can have xpadder auto launch profiles when you launch different programs. If you click the wrench button top right, then select autoprofile you can set it up there. I have a big box profile that auto loads when bigbox boots, and have mapped f1 and f3 to it soo I can save and load games by holding back and using the shoulder buttons. Hope this helps.
  5. @Walrus13 I don't like having it there either, but the reason its a requested feature is mostly for mame. There are often many revisions of the same game, launchbox will just scrape the main name and be done, but you may be playing street fighter 2 usa revision d for example because they often changed characters balancing, so can be handy to know.
  6. if you are using the nighlies, then you save your mapping by saving core mapping, then core override.
  7. Yeah I'm stumped, I just stick the c buttons on the right stick, a bit difficult though when you only have one.
  8. Yes I saw it!! ok, the problem I'm having is I don't have that controller I have a normal one and wont let me remap 6 buttons like you want it. I'm sorry but its late, 01:20 am. so I'm going to bow out here, I'm sure someone can help you though.
  9. ok, that's a weird way to go about it but give me a mo.
  10. the button in the brackets is a modified button, so B is the button mapped but the (C-down) is a modifier on that button.
  11. Correct!! That's what I'm failing to explain...they look the same but are not. they use a modifier or shift button.
  12. lol ok, how do you want your controls mapped? are you using a dual stick pad or a single?
  13. you also see were it says user 1 change controls 8 N/A KEY RIGHT SHIFT I believe if you get rid of that button it should work, that is a shift for c buttons, so you hold that down while using another button.
  14. Change user 1 device type to retro pad with analogue.
  15. Also they are VERY specific, always save them through quick menu core override. if you want to save them globaly, you need to load with no core loaded.
  16. lol, ok, I now this!!!
  17. is it all good for you now?
  18. Also, this is what I was thinking of. https://www.libretro.com/index.php/nintendo-64-vulkan-low-level-emulator-parallel-pre-alpha-release/
  19. lol, thanks @lordmonkus I'm not a code guy, so GitHub is totally alien to me!! Is that good??
  20. Is that the vulkan one?
  21. Of course you are right, and it will NEVER be perfect. But as someone who stood in line back in march 97, to pick one up, its getting closer every week!!
  22. also image refresh, is just that bigbox images don't unless you have to.
  23. Cool, I was not saying you did anything wrong!! lol downloads can be a b*****t sometimes they miss stuff, but yeah if in doubt, delete re download. glad its cool for you now..
  24. Yep, that's the crazy resolution I'm on as well. Im on a 1080p 60inch TV by the way. I have some glitches here and there, sometimes?? Wave Race is flawless but looks like someone is shooting the lights at the 3, 2, 1, go, but ill take that over what it was!!
