Cool idea, I like it. Seems to be a bit jerky at times though - is that just your machine?
-
Looks great - but the file is nowhere near 6GB as it says in the description?

These were well worth the wait. Excellent work indeed.
Many thanks spycat. More packs to follow! It's time-consuming work as each one is done separately by hand to ensure everything matches up.

Nicely done. May I suggest adding a "sheen" effect to the covers to make the boxes look more realistic? The edges of the case look fairly good but the cover art looks kind of stuck on.

It works perfectly, thanks! Really useful tool.

Thanks @JoeViking245 - I tried to import the vertical.ini you listed above into your tool - it lists 2906 roms but when I click "create playlist" I get an error - "unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application".
-
This is great! But I can't find a way to generate a list of vertical games?
-
Nice. But why are they so small?
-
Nice, don't think I've seen this set before. Which romset and region, and how many games?
-
Cart itself looks hi res but the artwork on the art low res?

Great work as ever Beezy!

Thanks a lot, these look great! Only thing I might change is the colours round the edges - weren't the original boxes black?

Excellent set @ABeezy13 ? Love the 2.5D. I really like the 3D boxes but when going through a collection of them it can look a bit cluttered; 2.5D is cleaner and a nice compromise.
I'm currently trying to clean up some of my media too. Ran the LB media cleaning feature yesterday and it moved a whole bunch of files; hopefully the right ones!

Very specific.

Looks good! Would be nice if it showed the actual console rather than the NES each time.

But that's what the bezels around the game screen can do....fill the rest of your monitor real estate.

Thanks man. Great bezels. 2 suggestions, don't know if you've had these before. First, the game screen tends to be stretched slightly too much so that parts are not viewable - for example, in your screenshot above for "Ashura Blaster" you can see that the text at the top is stretched slightly off the screen. Personally I prefer to have every pixel of the game screen viewable, but maybe this was a personal choice you made. Second, I find the reflections of the other arcade machines a bit intrusive and wonder if this can be toned down somewhat. For example, in the Afterburner screenshot above they are clearly visible and I find this a little distracting. I understand that this is all personal preference though and that the user can edit the stretch settings and if they want to, the bezels themselves!
As an aside, these are similar to the bezels I have made, which in turn are toned-down versions of Orionsangel's bezels. I took his, darkened the arcade machines at the sides, darkened the bezel a little bit and reduced the screen scratches/glare effect by about 40%. You can find those here (I've released 3 packs of them):
I've since started adding gaussian blur to the machines at the sides as this makes the main artwork pop even more. Your bezels seem to be a bit closer cropped in than Orionsangel's if I'm correct?

Mind posting your HLSL settings so we can try to get the screens looking just like yours?
-
Clean, system-specific design, I like it!

These look excellent Robin. I wonder if the spines could do with being a bit more reflection or something - they look quite angular and sharp compared to the rest of the artwork.
-
Nice discs! Did you use any Photoshop action or anything to edit these? I'm going through some discs and the inner and outer edges tend to need cleaned up (generally the edges cropped off), but doing that manually for each disc is taking too long
-
These look awesome, great work! Were there many that you couldn't find cover art for?
-
I like the look of this a lot. Some of the items are a bit too near the bottom of the screen though.

Any chance of doing the Amstrad CPC?

This is looking great. Any progress with a Launchbox theme creator? 😁
