Hi @alnyden. This is unfortunately true. The menu won't come back while in the game details/options page. I would need to release a version where the menu never goes away, and the box/cart images never appear. I'm thinking of releasing that version for people that use the game details page.

Sounds like you need to set a different Image Type in LaunchBox for GameCube games. Make sure the image type is set to what you would like to see in BigBox. -
So if my understanding is correct. This would allow a background video being played. Something like this?

That's good to hear. Try it out. I've also managed to solve the sound issue. Let me know how it goes. CoverBox - Master System - 43.zip As far as others go. They will be much harder to convert to a 4:3 view. Would have to make a number of sacrifices to make some of them work. I would have to think really hard about each one individually.

I just noticed the sound stopping in the game details page. I know why this is happening, and I'll need to change a few things and test it out. Thanks for pointing this out.

Yeah, the Master System can change dynamically easier than some of the others. Changing the size of the images that give you the effect you want. Also, just tweaking the code a little can give a slightly better effect. Try this version of the theme to see if it works better for 4:3 size screens. CoverBox - Master System - 43.zip

Thanks @Daliant. I wish this was a simple process, but I would most likely have to redesign each one for that screen ratio, and there would have to be some sacrifices for each one due to the lost screen space. I may have time to design one for you. Which one would you like? I'll take a look at the possibility.

I did not realize this was an option. How does this work? Also, may be easier to implement if I can look at a theme that can already do this.
