  1. At the moment, this is not currently possible, but on the long list of items to investigate. If you'd like, you can make a formal request we can keep track of using the HELP & SUPPORT > REQUEST A FEATURE link at the top of the page.
  2. This is not currently possible to have different themes for different platform level filters. With a ton of clever work, a theme dev could probably create a theme that has drastically different looks between the sections.
  3. If you've placed an image in the correct location, and named it correctly, then LaunchBox will recognize it. You may need to refresh a cache, but that's about it. For example, if you are in LaunchBox, and you are in Images View, using the Boxes Image group, and you replace a Box for a game, then you can select the game and press F5 to cache the new image.
  4. The good news is that everything you mentioned is already a choice that the person creating the theme would have to make. Platform-specific game views has been a thing for a while, and stretching images is a choice you have to make while developing the theme.
  5. You don't actually need to change the title, just the Sort Title:
  6. Did you remove just the items within your LaunchBox\Data folder, while LaunchBox was closed (including closed within your task manager), and then open LaunchBox?
  7. I do believe the RetroAchievements website does have a list of compatible emulators you can take a look at. Here it is: https://retroachievements.org/download.php Just remember to get RetroAchievements set up and working inside of whatever emulator you are using whether it be RetroArch or something else.
  8. Yes. You should be able to transfer over your BigBoxSettings.xml file within your LaunchBox\Data folder. You may also want to bring over the InputBindings.xml file as well. If you want to transfer over all your Big Box themes, then you'd bring over your entire LaunchBox\Themes folder.
  9. The Steamy theme does have the ability to show your game documents within the game details view, but the default theme does not. This means that custom themes can provide this option. Platform information is not something currently possible, but is on the list as something we'd like to do in the future.
  10. Have you checked inside your emulator (I'm guessing you are using RetroArch) to make sure you have Achievements turned on and you are logged in?
  11. Not entirely sure how to help you here. Maybe someone else knows better. However, I'd start with checking how many controllers Windows is seeing in your Game Controllers window. I do know that third party programs can sometimes register virtual controllers, which can then cause your actual controller to register as a second one, since the first slot is taken by a virtual controller.
  12. You can turn off the loading screen by going into LaunchBox options, navigate to Gameplay > Game Startup, and unchecking Use Game Startup Screen. One way I found to change which monitor the startup screen appears on is to go into Big Box, and in the options set the Primary monitor to your preferred one. However, the issue is that Windows often changes your monitor numbers. Especially with some monitors that disappear from Windows entirely when turned off. The next time they appear they are assigned a different number, which causes issues like these.
  13. There's currently no sort option like this in Big Box that you can change on the fly. You can set this up ahead of time in LaunchBox by editing your platforms and adding a Sort Title to each one. If you add the date as the sort title, it would put the platforms in the order you wish to see them.

    Crashes

    Yes, that would be best.
  15. It could be your resolution. I believe the other images are 384x1080 with a dpi of probably 72. See if changing your image to this help.
  16. It's not currently possible for a user to change how many backups are saved, or what happens to the deleted ones, so if you want, you can put in that request. However, for now, if I'm reading this correctly, your better option may be to turn off auto-backup, and perform manual backups when you make any major changes to your LaunchBox build. This way you'd have a master backup that will not change frequently that you know will be good if LaunchBox data corruption ever happens.
  17. Thanks @Starfox. We'll look into this before next release.
  18. Hi @unklaunch. Are you able to take a screenshot of what you are seeing?
  19. Looking at your first image here, the right side of it is where it displays any associated platform images. I'm seeing it read as 0/0, which means LaunchBox is not registering any images. Add your platform images in that Window and it should then work within a Big Box wheel.
  20. That's interesting. Just attempted this and am able to download the correct arcade videos without issue. Which wizard did you use when importing your arcade games, and what is the name of your arcade platform?
  21. I've also seen that same sort of thing happen on handhelds due to outdated drivers.
  22. There is a current issue with downloading EmuMovies media within the Edit Game window, so if I'm reading this right, it looks like that's what you are running into. This is on our list. You'll currently have better results if you highlight the games and run the the Download Metadata and Media wizard.
  23. Based on your screenshot, it looks more like you may have nahimic services running on your computer, which is known to cause graphical issues with WPF applications. If you do have it running, I'd recommend uninstalling the program and disabling the service.
  24. Just so you know, I've identified an issue with the "scrape as" value not always working during import, and it's on the short list to take a look at fixing. For now, a workaround can be to import your games using the standard naming convention, then change your Platform name after.
  25. Thanks. This is a known issue. Something to do with custom themes. It's on our list. Thanks. These are also known and are on our long list to take a look at.
