  1. Setting looks right. When you close Launchbox and reopen it does not add it to the playlist?
  2. I see you already have this fixed from another post and were advised to do the same. Leaving the steps below in case anyone else has the issue. If you are using MameUI as you said make sure your mame.ini file is located in the root folder of where you have the mame.exe. If it is located in the Ini folder copy and paste it into the main folder where the exe is located.
  3. Did you confirm in Pinball FX3 directly that your cabinet support code works? Outside of Launchbox if you launch Pinball FX3 does the menu options for cabinet support work? The steps linked is really all it takes. Unless Steam changed something in their version. I use the version from Microsoft store and not Steam so no issues here.
  4. I would suggest checking the Launchbox bitbucket to see if a ticket for this already exists and post it here so others may see and vote for it. If one does not exist create one and do the same. It is the easiest way to track the communities desire for feature requests. Feature Requests
  5. You should be able to edit the xml for the theme you are using. In this thread users were able to edit and get marquee images set up properly on custom cut lcd screens. You should be able to do the same. I would say post in that thread and maybe Retrohumanoid or one of the others that have done this can assist.
  6. OK so it is not a case of you having way more games imported than I do. Hopefully you can post a video to see the exact issue.
  7. Not really. The software list rom set is is basically needed to play certain supported console and computer games in Mame. The definition is probably more specific than that but you get the idea. For arcade you need to download the Mame 0.202 Roms
  8. @Mile Panic OK I tested that theme and the views you mentioned on 2 pcs. 1 Has pretty much same specs as you and the second is I7-7700 16GB Ram/GTX1060. Neither of the 2 showed any sluggish performance. At worst the I7 spiked to about 31% usage on view 2 and 3 but that was only on initial use. After that it settled and rarely got that high again. They both are pretty bare with only the necessary software to run LaunchBox and the emulators. How many games do you have imported?
  9. I have a setup with pretty much the same specs. I will test the same theme and views and see if I have the same issues.
  10. No not really, but you should have known that since you said....you know what others would think.
  11. That AHK tab has been there all along. I used to have FP in my setup and I used JaysArcade's loader. Just placed his files in the emulator folder and instead of pointing to the FuturePinball.exe just point to the FP.exe he made. Import the .fpt file and Launchbox will launch directly into the table if you have Future Pinball set up correctly outside of Launchbox. I have not messed with FP in a while but I just tested adding a table back in and the old setup still works like when I first set it up.
  12. @Z3R0B4NG If you look at my first post in this thread there is a link to another thread where someone posted a video of the specific issue.
  13. LightGun games xml It's a year old but the game list is still pretty accurate. The link is to a playlist xml. So if you do not have roms separated out this is the easiest way to have a lightgun playlist. Otherwise you would have to seperate out the roms and create a platform. This playlist one has a couple of useful links worth taking a look at for anyone setting up Lightguns.
  14. Pretty much like making any other playlist. In your list of playlists just right click and choose add. Then name it what you want. You can leave it manually populated and right click a game to add or if you want to make it auto-populated you can choose the last played field and set criteria like "Is in Recent Days" or "Is on or After" and then set the value.
  15. Dang I missed out on testing ?. Looking good @RetroHumanoid Excited to add this to one of my setups.
  16. Verify what the auto-populate field requirement is and you have to edit that in the games you are deleting. I have mine set to Field Favorite = True. So in order to delete a game in Launchbox I just uncheck the favorites icon in the games detail. Pretty much what you say you are doing. If yours is set the same way I am not sure why it would not work. Unless maybe you have a second criteria listed?
  17. How is the playlist set up? Is it a manually populated or auto-populated one? How are you trying to delete the game from the list?
  18. You can run the update. It will not delete the games, media, and metadata you have. If you run the installer for the update from a download from the website just make sure it does not place it in a Launchbox subfolder in your main Launchbox folder. We have seen where some have it end up \Launchbox\Launchbox
  19. Something does not look right. There should not be a Windows.xml file in the root of the data folder. Copy the Windows.xml file in the Data folder it is referring to and paste it into a folder somewhere else. Do not delete it, just copy it and save it somewhere else. Then remove the Windows.xml file from the data folder and try running a backup again and see if that helps. Do you by chance have a platform for Windows games you imported called Windows?
  20. Meh...You cannot blanket a statement like that on everyone who would consider him/herself a purist so to speak. I know plenty of self proclaimed purists that own numerous old arcade cabs and love emulation as it extends the life of the game itself and welcomes it to people who cannot experience an original cabinet.
  21. I agree. Typically the issue in reference occurs with just the controller. The users in the other threads did state that when reverting to keyboard inputs the lag was not present.
  22. With it recognized as xbox controller. It has no issues with any controller at all.
  23. I may have to throw a small wrench in that XboxApp theory. 1 of my setups has the app on it and no controller lag. I will run some tests on the other setups to see if installing it initiates the lag.
