  1. Edit the platform and see what the Rom folder is linked to. I do not use this feature as I add games by file and not by folder. I believe the scan features is searching the folder you have set in the platform folder locations. You may need to change the path.
  2. Sent you a PM that was pretty lengthy LOL... I was able to get this working thanks to help from a member on the forum.
  3. No worries! Glad you are all set.
  4. Next was a place holder name. You need to be in Platform Category to see the option
  5. If you are using a version of Launchbox that still has the old Launchbox and the version called LaunchboxNext you need to update. The child playlist feature only exist in newer version of Launchbox which is what Lauchbox.Next became. Next was just the temporary name for the evolution of Launchbox that Jason put in place to let users see what changes he was making to Launchbox. As of 8.6 the old version was removed and Next officially became Launchbox.
  6. There is not an option to rotate the video, but you there are PinballFX FlyBy videos that you can use that have the video oriented properly. PBFX2 PBFX3
  7. Deleting your other post on this. No need for two of the same. Unfortunately I cannot answer this as I do not import Steam games. Hopefully someone who does can chime in soon.
  8. @hathaer1 What mame are you running? Command line mame, MameUI64, Arcade64?
  9. It is an iso file. However, just prior to completing the import I update the "Name Field" on the Ready to Import screen to make sure it is the actual game name. Such as in this image with Sonic Colors. I would rename the first cell the actual name of the game.
  10. Did it download the metadata and images at all? Or are they downloaded and it just not showing? Just added it and had no issues.
  11. @hawkeyez88 When you run the Xarcade Input.exe what web browser does it open in on your setting? I am going to send you the script and will modify it to match.
  12. EDITED: Deleted my response. @neil9000 has you taken care of.
  13. In Launchbox >View then uncheck "Show Version". Or simply hit CTRL+R.
  14. You stated you did have inputs working but it was not clear if it was the method they have on their site. You will need to make an AHK script to call it open before the game. I am not at the house right now so later I will send it to you. You will just have to modify the file location paths in the script. Then point to the script instead of the game exe as the script will be a launcher for both the X-arcade input and the game. Sadly you will have to replicate this for each game. A bit of a work around, but it works.
  15. You might want to check Xgaming’s site. They have had a method out for quite a while now to get their controllers to work with these games. I have a Tankstick and still use it in one of my cabinets. Currenty have SFIV, SFV, MK XL, and a bunch of other pc fighting games running in BigBox with the tankstick as the controller. Read this: specifically method 2
  16. @Mr. RetroLust So @neil9000 was pretty spot on. It will work and really do not need to download a new Mame. I just created a test emulator folder called "Mame Test" and simply copied only my Mame 200 .exe file into it. Added Mame Test as an emulator and pointed to the .exe I copied into the Mame Test folder. Then ran the full arcade importer and chose to call the platform Mame. Chose only 3D box media and it downloaded. Then when done closed LB and deleted the Mame Test xml from the platform data folder. No harm no foul and now I have all the 3D box images I dont need. LOL.
  17. What tutorial are you watching? If the tutorial mentioned nothing about how to close the emulator if you are using a save state than it may not be wrong, it just may not be the way you need to close the emulator for save states.
  18. @Mr. RetroLust I can give what @neil9000 is saying a test for you. I finally got my test pc back up and running so if it messes anything up it will not affect my actual arcade pc.
  19. That is a clear logo. It may be a remnant in your image cache. Try refreshing the cache in BigBox and see if that same view gets updated to show the image you have in your clear logo folder now. Go to settings in BigBox then Options>Image Cache>Refresh all Images. Anytime you add images it is recommended to refresh the cache.
  20. No setting needed. If there are unzipped correctly and placed in the Themes folder they will show in your options to be able to select. Can you share a pic showing inside a folder of one of the add-on themes?
  21. You can easily change any platforms video path for all the games in that platform by going into >Tools>Manage Platforms and editing there.
  22. In manage emulators edit the Sega Model 2 and paste the below in the AHK tab. It will allow you to close with the button combo (if you use a controller) or key combo (if you use keyboard/arcade joy) you set in LaunchBox/BigBox. ; This section closes Sega Model 2 Emulator when pressing Escape $Esc:: { Process, Close, {{{StartupEXE}}} }
  23. So if it does this outside of Launchbox this seems to indicate something else on your pc is causing this. Have you tested other controllers?
  24. Threw me off as your title of the thread simply says Unified. That explains it then. Redux uses jpg files not png. You need to chamge the image types you are using the jpg. Jason changed the Redux theme to use jpg.
