  1. See my prior post. It is the cabinet logo on the bottom. Click it.
  2. Are you using Pinball FX 2 or Pinball FX 3?
  3. Inside Pinball FX directly. There will be a section for "Cabinet Support" to enter the code. In Pinball FX3 it looks like an image of a Pinball Cabinet in the top screen menu items. In PBFX2 look for the cabinet on the bottom of the screen.
  4. As long as you have rocket Launcher set up correctly and can launch your games directly in it then the only thing in Launchbox you need to do, if you are planning on just using Rocket Launcher, is to make sure the games in the platform in Launchbox are set up with Rocket Launcher as the emulator. Of course, you need to also make sure you have Rocket Launcher as an emulator in Launch Box. Right click a game and check the emulation tab. If it is not set to Rocket Launcher you need to change it to Rocket Launcher. You can edit all games for the platform by clicking on one and hitting CTRL+A. Then choose edit and in the field drop down box choose Emulator. Select Rocket Launcher.
  5. That version is a bit old but still works. Just downloaded it and tested. Working fine here on both 9.2 stable and in the beta. I am on Win 10. Works with Startup screens and without. When it goes to black screen can you hear the game running in the background?
  6. What mame are you using? Command line mame or something like MameUI or Arcade64?
  7. Try plugging it into the other pc and leaving it in there to see if you have the same issue over a period of time. If not than you can somewhat confirm something is wrong with the pc you normally use the Tankstick in. I am not to technically savvy when it comes to actual pc components so I will not be able to help there.
  8. Keep in mind the platform list and the games list will have different numbers of views. Just checked and looks in the default theme platform views had 6 totals view styles and the games list had 12 or 13. Some may have only subtle differences.
  9. Glad it is sorted. Honestly does not surprise me one bit when it comes to a pc.
  10. This issue is likely if you have Daphne as the platform then scrape the game it will return and Arcade listing. If you select it that platform will then be changed to Arcade and will now no longer show that game in Daphne (of whatever platform name you used). You will need to check in an Arcade platform or as I mentioned early on view "All Game" and find the game there and then edit it and change the platform back. You can see it here when I edit a recent upload of a Daphne game.
  11. 9.2 has feature 8.6 does not. One of which is the new Start Up and Shutdown screens you mentioned seeing. That being said it has been tested pretty well and is known to work with Mame. If you still have 9.2 installed try going into Launchbox and manage emulators. Edit your mame and go into the Startup Screen tab and uncheck the box to use Startup screens then test to see if your mame will work?
  12. It is a keyboard. It does not need drivers or anything, so if hitting buttons does not register keystrokes in anything (text file, google search field, or even their test utility) then chances are it is the board that went bad. Hopefully not......Whatever it is the signs point to the Tankstick and not software like Mame or Launchbox. I use one in my main cabinet, it still has a regular keyboard and a mini bluetooth keyboard connected to it and the Tankstick does not care. It works. I replaced a board that went bad on mine last summer so it is not unheard of. Also if plugging it into another USB port or even another pc still does not yield working buttons I would suggest calling their support line. Not much more troubleshooting from here can be done I am afraid.
  13. Try it with another pc if you can, switch usb ports as well.
  14. I would open it up and make sure a connection did not come loose. I linked the video from their site.
  15. https://support.xgaming.com/support/solutions/articles/12000003087-how-do-i-open-my-x-arcade-controller-case- I would go to their page and download their test program (<---click there) just to confirm it is not registering keystrokes. Its a keyboard so the text document does the trick, but worth testing with theirs.
  16. There are two boards I mentioned in my post. The trackball and bumper buttons are on one board. All other controls are on the main large board. I am not saying it is shot, but the fact they are not registering means it is something with the Tankstick.
  17. If they are not producing keystrokes in a text document then something is wrong with your tank stick. There are two internal boards. One for the trackball and two back bumper buttons. the other is for all other controls. Since the trackball and mouse buttons work something could be wrong with the other board. It is easy to unscrew the bottom of the tankstick. I would open it up and just make sure the connector to the board for all other controls is connected. I would hate to think the board went bad. But if it is not registering keystrokes at all this is the direction I would first investigate in. That's more like it. The one closest to the front are 3 and 4 on the keyboard.
  18. Actually Jason reminded what you need to do to get it to work with Startup screens. Turn Startup Screen back on and in Launchbox go to manage emulators and edit Daphne. Make sure "Attempt to hide console window" box is checked.
  19. Anytime you add new images you need to go into BigBox settings and refresh the image cache.
  20. OK, something is for sure off. Did you confirm the switch on the back of the Tankstick is in position 1 like I mentioned? If it is then the left Flipper button should not act like a mouse button. On the side there are two buttons each. In the pic the pinball bumper buttons should be keystroke 3 and 4. The mouse buttons will be further back. I suggest starting from the beginning before attempting to remap anything in Mame. First, confirm your Tankstick is set to its default state. You have not mentioned if you did this or if you even opened a text document to make sure the buttons are registering key strokes.
  21. There is also a Startup Setting in BigBox. You have to change there. In the settings menu you will see Game Startup option. I recommend looking around at all the options in the menu to familiarize yourself with what is available.
  22. Not sure if it is a fix as I do not recall anyone posting it being an issue before. I just tested and views changed ok from the setting menu on my set-up.
  23. Best thing to do is set a key or button to "Switch View" This way you can be in the systems and see the view change real time as opposed to setting it in the options. Do this by going into the controller or keyboard mapping options. You will see a "Switch View" item. You can also set the view per platform if you so choose. To do this go into the view option in BigBox and tick the box for "Remember Separate View Per Platform".
  24. Game Startup Screens is new in the latest release of Launchbox and it is likely the Startup that is not working well with Daphne. Try turning off the Startup Screen and seeing if the issue no longer exists. You can turn it off globally or by emulator. I would try by emulator first. In Launchbox go to >Tools>Manage emulators and edit your Daphne emulator. You will see a tab for Game Startup Screen. In the tab untick the box Enable Game Startup Screen.
  25. Yes.
