  1. That is pretty odd. Like Neil I tried the link several times and on my laptop no issue. Even tried like you said in Chrome and Firefox. I have seen before someone post about similar error, but it was any access to the GamesDB site.
  2. You were not trouble....but yes, your second post was more specific than your first since the pic showed the error. You sorted so all is good.
  3. Specifics about the type of error or what you were trying to do that gave the error would help. The link you pasted opens fine so no error there. I see the thread title says database access error but access how?
  4. Vert Wheel 2 should show disc image and Vert Wheel 3 should show spinning disc image. I would check the Cart Front Image priorities showing in LaunchBox and make sure disc image is an option ticked.
  5. I do not believe an option exists to start at the last game, but there is an option in BigBox General settings to "Remember Last Game Each Platform" (or something similar). I do not use it so not sure how well it works, but might be worth giving it a test.
  6. In the first pic uncheck the boxes for "Don't use quote" and "Use file name only".
  7. That used to be pretty common before Jason added the drop down list for the cores. Glad you got one sorted. Now to fix arcade.
  8. And both Mame and Retroarch will launch games outside of Launchbox correct? If so something is disconnected in Launchbox. Can you share some pics. In the edit emulators screen for Arcade can share share a pic of the Emulator Details tab and the Associated Platforms tab. Then choose a game and edit. Share an image of the Launcher tab and the Emulation tab.
  9. In Launchbox go to manage emulators than choose either of the emulators and edit. In the associate platform tab make sure for Mame you have the name of the Arcade platform listed and as well for Retroarch you have the name of the GBA platform listed. The names need to be exactly as you have the platform named in Launchbox. For example if the platform in Launchbox is name Nintendo Game Boy Advance in the associated platform field it would need to be listed as Nintendo Game Boy Advance. If you alter the name it will not link them. Also what Mame are you using? MameUI, Arcade64, or the command line version of Mame?
  10. Just leave the "Platform" field out and it will pull all Racing from all platforms. To edit the auto generated playlists you have to uncheck to "Auto-Populate This Playlist" button.
  11. I would recommend making a BitBucket so the community can vote. If you really want a new feature added this will be the best avenue that way Jason can see how many users are voting to have it implemented. Request a feature
  12. Tried the default theme, Bad Old Monkey and LBPlex Condensed and not getting the dotted lines like you are.
  13. You are talking about in BigBox correct? What version are you using? Just tested all the playlists (the auto-created ones from Launchbox are actually playlists not platforms) on my setup and both the ones Launchbox creates and the ones I create work with the search bar function. Tested both autopopulated and manually populated playlists.
  14. If you are talking about in Launchbox right click the game and choose Refresh Selected Images. You can also click on one game than Ctrl+A and do the same for all games. Anytime you add new images you have to refresh the image cache.
  15. Not too fast in my opinion. Something new that we have not seen in themes before. I really like this addition. Small touches sometimes make big improvements.
  16. Did you refresh the image cache in BigBox options? If not anytime you add new images you should do this to update the cache for BigBox. The platform clear logo should show in the platform selection screen as well as in the game screen you are showing.
  17. Not sure if one particular style has them all or not, but you may want to check out this thread as it showcases a few styles that have some of the ones you want. Zombeaver and RetroHumanoids posts have some of these listed so their sets may have all the ones you want.
  18. It is a windows pad plugin that has a bunch of feature options you can mess with. Not sure about its origins, I just know it has some useful features and is usable in ePSXe and PCSX2. You should be able to find it on the PCSX2 forum. If you google "lilypad plugin" the first link should take you to the forum thread on it. It has been around a few years but still works.
  19. For your input options in epsxe are you using the lilypad plugin or the ePSXe core? If lilypad open the configure settings for the plugin I believe there is either a "disable confirm on exit" option or something like "Exit emulator on close". Try one of those options to see if it helps. I cannot remember for sure as I am not at home. I use the lilypad plugin and have the same AHK Neil mentioned and ePSXe exits properly.
  20. Ah make sense. Yes, that was a fix Jason put in for the latest beta.
  21. What controller are you using? If I have the same I could test on my set-up since both work.
  22. He doesnt actually have to make them. They already exist. Neil gave steps on how to download them and which version to choose.
  23. The first 30 seconds and that image are just showing vertical wheel 1 option. Also it looks that way as those are just the specific platform videos Cid downloaded and is using with the theme. Edited: You want the Unified platform videos. I see Neil responded below how to download.
  24. With a keyboard or controller? Just tested both and looks to be working ok.
  25. Agree, it is a little hard to understand exactly what you are looking for. In the platform view options Wheel 1 and 2 are the vertical wheel options. The platform view only has a vertical wheel. You either choose the one with scrolling text or one without. The only other option in platform views is test list. Many times the theme creator gives the games list more view options than the platform list since these view often include box, cart, cd, or various other images. Basically a theme is coded a certain way to contain specific view types made by the theme designer. There will be a certain amount of platform views as well as game views you can choose from. If a view you want is not there as you switch through the view styles or you want to alter something in a specific view you would have to code it yourself or ask the theme creator (or other members) if they could help.
