  1. Thanks @jayjay The exe I use allows pc games that do not map 2 players games like Mortal Kombat XL to a single key board. The name of the additional app file is XArcade XInput.exe and game example MK10.exe
  2. @Charco Win 10 on both. Laptop with Win 10 is fine. No issue. Only the 2 pc's. Even tried clean install of both LB and Mame in a different drive. Same issue.
  3. I would love to find a way to delay a game opening when using an additional app. I have a similar need due to a exe on a couple games I need fully opened before the game actually starts or the control map will not be recognized. @Jason Carr is something like this possible?
  4. Thanks Dos. I have not tested on my main cabinet yet. Using command line Mame and nothing has moved folder or drive wise. This is the first I have seen it happen. Everything else functions as it should. Edit: Test pc and main cabinet same issue. The pc builds are pretty similar. Just different RAM and Graphics card. Even tried a fresh install of Mame in case there was some old bug in the prior versions I updated. Odd that it is only Mame that causes the issue.
  5. So just noticed an odd issue. Occurs in Next (beta 9 - I even tested on beta 8 ) and only with Mame (no other emulator). When exiting a game or even if I right click a game and choose open Mame than exit Mame LBNext will either close completely or be stuck and I have to minimize it from the task bar to get it to be functional. Did not notice until now as mainly I have been playing other systems in the last couple betas. Updated Mame from 198 to 199 and still does the same. OG Launchbox and BigBox do not suffer this issue. Run as admin is not being used.
  6. I think I may have to do with importing two games of the same name for two regions. Well, at least that was the only instances I could get this to occur. I imported Die Hard for NES for JP and US regions (also did the game Reon showed in his video). I then deleted the images from the JP version and the issue showed up. Doing it for any single import game or for any game that I imported versions for two regions, but each game had a slightly different name it did not occur.
  7. I tried to replicate your issue on my test pc and main cabinet. I did not get the issue you showed. I tried on different region games and different platform. Even replicating your video step by step the issue was not present. The only test I did not do is a game on a platform that I had imported two regions on. I only import one version of a game so did not have that to test. Posting a clip to give Jason some more insight. 2018-07-14_15-42-06Trim.mp4
  8. If the image below is what you are talking about then that is just a platform video for Virtual Console.
  9. What in particular is not working? More details would be helpful.
  10. As Neil said a little more info is helpful. It should not take much to get it working once you have Demul set up. For that game you need the rom file, the chd file, and the Naomi 2 bios. I did not have that game so I imported it and ran easily since I had demul already set up and the right files for the game.
  11. Right now I do not think so. All games just does the whole library. Maybe when Jason tackles nested filters it can be put in place.
  12. In Launchbox go to tools > Manage Emulators and then edit the emualtor you are using for SNES. In the associated platforms tab you have to make sure the new name you are using in showing there now.
  13. Have you tried turning off "sticky keys" and "filter keys" in windows? My Xarcade controller has a similar input layout and turning that off stopped pop-ups from showing up when the shift or alt keys were pressed in combo or multiple times.
  14. You got sorted so not a waste of time at all.
  15. Editing does allow you to add another code tag. Just tested on one of my prior posts. Test 1 Here is a pic of editing this post you can see the code brackets present. In the second pic I added another code text.
  16. You are likely right, but figured worth mentioning since it seems the users here with the issue are all Xbox controller users.
  17. A Google search of "Windows 10 Xbox controller lag" brought a wide variety of threads related to Xbox controllers and Windows 10 users experiencing lag.
  18. As @DOS76 mentioned this is the other thread. There have been a few with this issue but many are using Xbox controller without the lag. So nothing has been identified as a fix or a cause.
  19. I do not know if there is a fix but if you run the game on TP 1.43 or earlier the error is not present. At least for me it is not. I think I found this out from a reddit on the issue.
  20. Hopefully BigBox will get these at some point. Jason is focusing on development of Launchbox Next and then the poll items. He has a pretty big list of things he is looking to tackle. In case anyone did not know LB does have this feature. In Launchbox under Tools >Options>Search there is a check box to "Use community ratings when filtering and arranging by Star Rating". Also includes an option to specify the minimum number of community rating. Then under "Arrange By" in Launchbox you will see Star Rating option. Additionally, In "List View" there are columns for "Star Rating", "Community Star Rating", and "Community Star Rating Count" that you can arrange by.
  21. Glad your all sorted!
  22. Yes the photos would be extremely useful. All you have to do is drag and drop the image files. As far as the ini file goes you are looking for mame.ini I posted to wrong name in my other post. It is the mame.ini NOT mameui64.ini like I posted before. Apologies on that. In the images below the file is originally located in the ini folders. It needs to be copied and pasted into the main folder where the mameui64.exe is.
  23. There can be a few things going on. A couple of basic items are: Did you make sure that you also set the rom path in MameUI now to the /Games/Arcade folder? Since you had Launchox move the roms you have to now update MameUI to the path for the roms where Launchbox moved them. Is the name of the associated platform linked to your Mame emulator in Launchbox the same name of the platform you imported the Mame roms into? If your MameUI64.ini file is located in the Ini folder in your mame emulator folder you will need to copy out into the main folder that the MameUI64.exe is in. What would be helpful is sharing images of your set up. This way we can see if there is indeed a disconnect in your setup. 1. In tools go to manage emulators and choose to edit your mame set-up. Share a pic of the emulator details tab and the associated platforms tab. 2. Right click on a game and choose edit. Share a pic of the launcher tab and emulation tab
  24. Make sure you have DOT Matrix Size set to "off" as well in the UI/Streaming settings.
  25. Odd. Selecting works fine for me. It was entering that was the issue. I wonder if that is since you are using it launched through Steam. At least they acknowledged it and are working on the fix.
