  1. @Lordmonkus Will these work for Super Metroid Project Base for you? Going to see if I can mock something up a bit cleaner, but throwing these up for now.
  2. Thanks @neil9000 I probably should bounce over to discord every once in a while. I think I jumped on a few times shortly after I joined the forum.
  3. Please correct me as I have a lot to learn. If I am wrong I am wrong no way around it. You are right that picture you shared painted it bright and clear. Now I know what to look for the more I tweak and test things. I honestly never recall seeing that as most views I tend to you seem to mask the offset. @bbweiners Thanks as well to you. Your post helped me see something new.
  4. @neil9000 Ah now I see. I figured it could be down to likely I do not see it as the views I use do not show the true issue. I typically use full screen views or one where the view is offset in the layout it is hard to tell the alignment issue is present. In CZ2 in the view you posted I see it clear as day. Once again you imparted your knowledge on me!
  5. Thanks @bbweiners Just loaded up Rincewind to test. Here is a video. I am on WMP and videos run good. You can even see in NES the video briefly tries to change size before it plays. In some videos like in Wii the video goes almost into an ultrawide display. I thought I was using software to keep resolutions in line on all 3 monitors but I am not. I only have it set in the Windows 10 display settings. I do not think I altered anything. You do not see your issue in my video right? Just making sure I am not blind and missing something. I am no means an expert on this stuff. I just share and try to help when I can. I just wonder what is I do not see the offset videos.
  6. No not at all my good man. I know you definitely have more experience and more knowledge on these things than me. You are not really contradicting me as I only stated it was odd I do not experience it. I was not saying it was not an issue. It could be the themes and the views of the themes I use just do not clearly show the issue or maybe since I use a triple monitor set up the software I use to keep video resolutions in sync takes care of it. I am sure there is a reason I have not experienced it. I am curious to see if I can get see it on my machine. What theme for you does this occur?
  7. That’s odd. I have used both VLC and WMP on most themes we have available without that issue. I would probably post a question on the thread for the themes this issue occurs for you and see if the theme creator can give some advice.
  8. I would try switching to WMP for videos. Memory leak has been reported before and in the beta thread here it was talked about. One of our members CKP was having issues and on recommendation switched to WMP since Jason mentioned VLC uses alot of RAM. It seemed to work for CKP so give it a try. I remember Jason mentioning BigBox out of the box can use 1GB of RAM and it is not uncommon to use more depending on what bells and whistles of BigBox you use. I linked to that beta thread twice. Probably worth a read for you. So on 4GB of RAM you may want to keep the theme bare bones of the WMP switch does not help.
  9. @Riffman81 What do you think on these? I added the stripe element on the bottom as the cover graphics on these game covers it did not look right stretched to fit in the space allowed. On Conkers you can see the difference. If you want to keep them more unified with what you have created let me know and I can drop the stripe and refit the image more full screen.
  10. @Riffman81 Much appreciated for the templates. I have mild photoshop skills so the CD cover overlay will go a long way on making it easier on me. I cannot thank you enough for these and the video snaps as well!
  11. Are you pointing Launchbox to the correct Retroarch.exe? Only asking as I remember a previous thread someone had the same issue and when that person imported Retroarch they had chosen Retroarch_debug.exe by accident. Double check that just in case. Outside of that I am not sure. Hopefully one of our more expert members or mods will chime in.
  12. @Riffman81 Thanks to you and @Lordmonkus I have about 20 MSU1 games in my new platform. Definitley looking forward to the video snaps. I had not really dug into this stuff before this thread. If you do not mind sharing the templates I would love them. I had to mock up a couple for a few games I added outside of what you had in your original file set. I only made the standard box art since it was simplest to modify.
  13. If Lordmonkus steps do not work it might be helpful to share some screen caps of your edit screens. Edit a game and show pic of the rom path and the emulator tab. Also go to manage emulators, choose the emulator you are using and edit, then share a pic of emulator details tab and the associated platforms tab. Sometimes that will help show if there is a disconnect that can be corrected.
  14. Xbox One and the Hori controller on my machines and I agree they both work well. My Xbox One was pretty easy to set up no real fuss.
  15. @Lahma Thanks. I have done editing before so I have a few youtube downloaders in my software suite already, but it is good tips to share with the community so thanks for posting. I actually do not mind the song as is.
  16. @neil9000 Yeah, I tried to see if I could find it or a similar version on Soundcloud or even Youtube. Nothing I found was similar. Maybe a remix from an Emumovies forum member.
  17. I deleted the mp3 and downloaded it again. It does play a Super Mario World song it just starts weird with an almost Metroid like sound at 24-25 seconds you hear the transition into the SMW theme. So not completely a wrong song it just start off different.
  18. @eatkinola Pleased to say the new update fixed the exhausted media player issues. A quick test netted no error. Switching views multiple time in all levels and even using VLC. One initial glitch was when first booted into BigBox the first video does not play. I have to select a different platfrom category.
  19. Yes. There are a few threads on the forum with similar issues. I had it as well. What worked for me is changing video setting from VLC to WMP. If you are using VLC in BigBox try changing the setting to WMP and see if that helps. It worked form me, but for others it did not. I think someone even mentioned completely removingVLC from their pc and that helped.
  20. Thanks. I was wondering if it was just my pc as @neil9000 can replicated the exhausted error but his issue is slightly different than what you and I are getting.
  21. Nice definitely adding this one to the rotation.
  22. Looks like Omen is having the same issue as I am. @Omen Does it have the same error using VLC and WMP?
  23. I did not even think about that. I know they work on my Switch
  24. @daddu3 Cool glad it was just a simple firmware. As far as Wii and WiiU I have had no issues with them. For WiiU I am on Cemu 1.10.f and it was a bit a task to get it working because they changed how Cemu inputs controls now. You have to select Xinput, Dinput, etc. I cannot remember which one I got it working under, but it does still work. I have not update to 1.11.0c yet.
  25. @neil9000 Honestly I do not know. I never bothered to look since I needed no workaround to get them connected. Just updated the firmware, paired to my pc, set the mappings in BB and all the needed emulators. No fuss no muss.
