  1. Thanks. I was wondering if it was just my pc as @neil9000 can replicated the exhausted error but his issue is slightly different than what you and I are getting.
  2. Nice definitely adding this one to the rotation.
  3. Looks like Omen is having the same issue as I am. @Omen Does it have the same error using VLC and WMP?
  4. I did not even think about that. I know they work on my Switch
  5. @daddu3 Cool glad it was just a simple firmware. As far as Wii and WiiU I have had no issues with them. For WiiU I am on Cemu 1.10.f and it was a bit a task to get it working because they changed how Cemu inputs controls now. You have to select Xinput, Dinput, etc. I cannot remember which one I got it working under, but it does still work. I have not update to 1.11.0c yet.
  6. @neil9000 Honestly I do not know. I never bothered to look since I needed no workaround to get them connected. Just updated the firmware, paired to my pc, set the mappings in BB and all the needed emulators. No fuss no muss.
  7. @neil9000 Thanks for posting the clip. My issue is weird as with either VLC of WMP I get the exhaust. However, for me what happens is I can have either the platform category/platform level or the games level playing the video. Not both. If the games level is not working and I switch views they work. However, back out to platform level and now the videos do not work there. Change the platform level view and they work again......BUT go into game level and they stop working. Video Here. In the video I switch from WMP to VLC and you see the error still. Even if I reboot after the switch VLC gives the same error.
  8. I am on Windows 10 and BB detects all my 8Bitdo (NES30Pro, SFC30Pro, NES30, and FC30) controllers with no issues. Are your controllers on the most current firmware? I did not need to do anything special to get them to work. Just paired them with my pc and set the controller mappings in BB.
  9. It is still plaguing me. I am on LB 7.13 as of today and I still get the exhausted media player. It only occurs with the newest version of Nostalgia (using VLC or WMP). If I remove it and put an older version of the theme in the videos work fine.
  10. @LordDangerMouse No worries. Glad your working again. Keep in mind with MameUI it has been pretty finicky lately and if you update make sure you remember to do these steps again. If you use the command line version of Mame and not MameUI it does not have these issues.
  11. Try the following: But first backup your Mame folder in case it does not work than you can delete it an recover your original settings from the back up. MameUI has had issues loading the configs stored in the ini folder. It will try to load from the main folder. So make a back up first of your files. Then once you did that in the original MameUI folder copy the contents of your ini folder and paste it into the main folder (the root folder that MameUI.exe is in). Then try to load a game through LB box.
  12. Yeah I recommend using command line and ditching UI. I used to use MameUI slowly with each new version it started not playing nicely wth other software. With command line version it has been pretty smooth since I switched to it. It was actually the mods here that got me switched over.
  13. Yes. The root folder that the MameUI.exe is located.
  14. If you are using version .160 then the below may not work, but I would recommend trying it. As long as you make a backup if it does not work you can delete it and restore the back up. The below I know works for version 0.186 and up: Since version 0.186 front ends have had issues loading the configs stored in the ini folder. It will try to load from the main folder. So make a back up first of your files. Then once you did that in the original MameUI folder copy the contents of your ini folder and paste it into the main folder. Then try to load a game through LB box. I had this issue and that fixed it. At the same time though I ditched MameUI and started using the more preferred command line version of Mame.
  15. Glad you got it sorted. That is odd though. I do exactly as I mentioned and it changes the image on me. Maybe it is theme dependent. I wonder how the view changed on you if you did not have a button mapped prior to fixing it.
  16. That setting in Launchbox will affect how the boxes are shown in that "Recent" and "Favorites" section in your posted pics. If you open Launchbox and click on GBA platform in that upper right "Image Type" drop down box if you have clear logos there it will make GBA platform show clear logos in the games box views in BigBox. You can set each platform to different image types. I just tested by changing LB Image Type to clear logo from 3D boxes for Playstation and now when I go back into BigBox those images that used to be 3D boxes are clear logos. Even in "recent" and "favorites". It only affected the one platform I changed.
  17. If you are in Launchbox and change the box art view style there it will change it in BigBox when you launch it. So if by chance you were tinkering in Launchbox that could have been where you accidentally changed it and in BigBox it would show the change as well. I only say this as that is what I did a while back and took me a bit to figure out how it happened.
  18. @eatkinola Error is just in Nostalgia. Also I can revert back to prior version and it is gone. I am getting it with VLC also. Normally I keep my platforms on the clear logo wheel style view and my games in the text list view. So keep that in mind to picture what I am seeing. If videos are playing in the platform category/platform screen the videos will not play in the game screen. So if I change the games view from a text list view to the view that has the clear logo wheel the videos play. However once I back out to a platform I get the "media players are exhausted" error. If I change the platform view to the one that has the platform names listed in text they play again, but if I then go back into games the videos there stop working. Switch the games view and they play, back out to platform and it is broke again. See the pattern? It is as if regardless of the view style, either I can make the platform videos work or the games videos, not both. I am on BB 7.12 I have not downloaded 7.13 yet.
  19. New update downloaded and so far had an initial issue with WMP and videos. First time this has occurred on your theme. I got an error saying something like "media players exhausted" and the video not playing. Switched to VLC and videos worked. Switched back to WMP and videos worked. So I will test more and report back. I typically use WMP as for some reason I get random BB crashes using VLC. @eatkinola BIG THANKS for those new platform category backgrounds. They look great. But now the playlist one with the couch looks so out of place because of how good the other 3 look.
  20. Just tested an audit on a few platforms and the random files I checked that showed more than one image in a specific category were correct. A bunch of my arcade platform games had 2 clear logos when I checked the images it was correct and those games did in fact have 2 clear logo images and not other images mixed in. Now I only checked about 10 total in 3 platforms I audited so relative to how many games those platforms had that was a tiny sample. So it is possible there are inaccuracies.
  21. Just open a game in Mame and hit tab. This will open the options to set controls. The exit command can be set to one or two buttons. I believe it is under inputs general then UI inputs, UI Exit. Not at my machine to verify, but I think that is it.
  22. Have you set your exit buttons/keys directly in Mame? Mame has options to set the exit configuration and you can set it to the same as you have in the BigBox automation.
  23. I have 3 machines set up. 8GB test machine and my two arcades have 16GB and 32GB. In retro gaming I see no real performance change in emulation especially with older consoles. The CPU is where the benefit is. What I do see is better performance out of LB/BB. Especially on the heavier use themes.
  24. You are welcome. Glad it was easy enough to sort out.
  25. Did you refresh the image cache? Typically when you replace images you have to go into options in BigBox and refresh the image cache.
