  1. @latin625 Which Mame are you using? Maybe I can try the one you are using and compare to what I use to see if something is different in the settings.
  2. That may be why. I have games like PunchOut and PlayChoice showing on one monitor in over-under fashion. It was causing too many issues using two monitors with how I have everything set-up with other systems so I switched it. With Mame set to use 2 monitors BigBox likely does not have a resource to show the marquee.
  3. Hmmm. I wonder what is causing that. I use only what BigBox does and the marquees stay for me. For reference I am using Mame 0.189 (command line verion). But this has worked with other version of Mame as well as MameUI versions. I do not think I really changed any settings in Mame. I know it is set to only 1 monitor even though my set-up is a triple monitor.
  4. Hopefully one of our more experienced members can chime in. I have never really messed with Mame's marquee set-up since BigBox does what I need. BigBox will keep the marquee displayed even when a game is launched so when that got implemented a while back I stopped messing with anything else.
  5. Time to add a few new games I guess.
  6. I think there were new patches for Super Type-R and Super Adventure Island as well.
  7. I responded in that post. I do not think that member got HyperMarquee working based on his response. It sounds like he got it working using the BigBox marquee support.
  8. Are you talking about HyperMarquee or BigBox's built-in marquee support? I think the prior post that member got marquees working in BigBox native support since he mentioned they are working by romname and that is part of how BigBox marquee support works For the BigBox built in version: To get marquee images to show in BigBox you only need to do a few things really. 1. Make sure in BigBox you have the setting showing which of your monitors is the marquee. 2. Place any marquee images you are using in either the Arcade-Marquee folder for the game rom marquees or in the Banner folder for the platform and platform category marquees. Game marquess should be named as the games are and your platform and platform category marquees need to be named as those are named in your set-up. 3. Launch BigBox, refresh the cache to be safe, and your images should show up on you marquee monitor.
  9. Since the ipac mimics keystrokes I do not think it is possible. BigBox will only let you map one keyboard key per command in the settings.
  10. Keyboard mappings have been in place for quite a bit now. Just head into your options in BigBox and look for keyboard mapping settings. Set Exit to "escape" if it is not already done so and then hitting escape will close out BigBox.
  11. It is the new core that is the issue. I tested and in either a new update of RA (1.7.0) and the new core or and older version of RA (I think I have 1.6.7) and the new core the games you mentioned give a white screen. If use the latest build and and old core or and old build (1.6.7) and an old core they work fine. So it is the new core and not so much the new RA build.
  12. It is running on Tekknoparrot. Just google Tekknoparrot and it will be the first link. Current builds are patreon releases and the most current should be releasing soon. You can find google links to older public releases. I think 1.20 was the last public release.
  13. @Jason Carr Something like sending that type of email will always split a community. It is a razors edge and sometimes you take a leap of faith. For me, I was always told it is only a mistake if you do not learn from it.
  14. Welcome to the community indeed. Looks like Lordmonkus already showed you a way to help with busy work.... Any way you can help make this forum and Launchbox better is always welcomed.
  15. Hey, at least some of them are finally posting on the forum.
  16. I agree with @Gardue Someone selling drives full of illegal roms crying about someone selling his drives full of illegal roms. I wonder what Nintendo or Sony would say to that.
  17. Great videos alfredolvera. That trance version is my favorite for some reason. Looking forward to others if you get the time.
  18. Same hash info on mine. I am using pretty much stock settings in Retroarch for Wonder Swan as I have not yet set that one to the specs I want so it is running pretty much as is.
  19. No issues on all 3. If you load the games in Retroarch directly as opposed to launching through Launchbox do they work then?
  20. 1. Here is a link to some info on cores. There is another one somewhere I just did not search long enough. 2.Wondwerswan or Wonderswan Color? No issue here running either with Launchbox. I do not know if I have tested every game. Can you let me know a couple you are having issues with and I can test those on my system?
  21. @Lordmonkus Isnt there a warning about this program in the original thread and it possibly causing damage to xml files? Could it be the program broke something and is causing his issues? I have never used this program and reading through some of that thread it seems to be kind of obselete now.
  22. What theme and what view in it are you using. Themes have different views, one of which is a specific text list view. You can change to one of the views that use logos if you are in that text list. You do however, need to have logos in your images for them to show otherwise it will show a kind of default text image.
  23. Are you using the MameUi or the MameUIFX Arcade version newyears1978 linked? I moved away from these long ago as they tend to have issues as other front ends evolve. Also is this happening direct from the exe or when through Launchbox (or RocketLauncher/Launchbox combo)?
  24. I dont use mameui but a quick search found it here . 192 download is the 4th line in yellow.
  25. No worries. Always happy to try and help.
