  1. That's why it does not fall back to a Default image. You have other priorities. So even in a playlist LB will show Box-3D first, then Box-Full, Box-Front and so one. If it finds none of the ones you have selected then it will show a "Default - Box-3D" image if you have one set for the platform the game is in. Not sure here. Maybe provide pics of the 2 playlist images. But what I mentioned above is how it should be working.
  2. What does your image priority for Box - 3D look like? If you have other options selected LB will go through those priorities first before using a set "Default" image for that type.
  3. @The Papaw when you click on that playlist for Hidden Object what does the image group say when you click on "Image Group" in the tool bar? Is it set to "Box- Front"?
  4. Lots of users do. Tekno is a lot easier now that it used to be. Lots of games can be run without any additional loader.
  5. As long as you rename name the correct images to match exactly how your platform is named in LB it should work. You may need to go into BB settings and refresh the image cache.
  6. LB will open the chm file but you either have to have it shows as an "Additional App" or just drop it in your SNES manuals folder and name it exactly as the game is named "Star Fox 2.chm" and it will show up in the display manual submenu. If it were a pdf you could add it as an additional app and LB would then show it in the "Additional Documents" menu. I do not believe the additional documents supports other file formats.
  7. I do not use LB to import my storefront games. So that is why I am not seeing that. Might be a Front folder for store front images. Not 100% sure. Well you at least got it sorted and I got some education on a feature I do not really use.
  8. There is nothing built into LB that will do this. I thought someone made a 3rd party plug-in that did something similar. I would check the threads in the 3rd party section. I might be wrong, but worth a look.
  9. I did ask earlier what was in the folder and you did not respond so I cannot really guess why it is there. I would just delete that folder. Hard to tell if it is an issue, but that was the only folder and path you referenced. Do you see that \Front folder in any other platform's images folder?
  10. Probably worth finding out what that folder is and why it is there. From my knowledge that is not a LB generated folder. Below is a snap of the default generated LB image folders. Are you using any 3rd party plug-ins?
  11. OK well that is odd as the folder structure I have never seen and currently does not exist in any LB build. What images are in that folder? Try removing that folder and seeing if the drive works when put back in the ROG.
  12. I do not believe you can manually set a chm file to show there. You might be able to drop it in the Manuals folder. That's the exact same manual that can be downloaded from within LB that gets placed in the \Manuals\Super Nintendo Entertainment System folder and shows up in >Media when you right click the game.
  13. I cannot help with what is causing this but do want to point out that end folder does not look like any folder LB would create. In the Launchbox images there is no \Front image folder. Was that just a typo? If you plug the drive back into pc does that folder actually exist at that path? Did you make this LB build yourself or was this one of the premade builds users can download?
  14. Thanks for sharing with the users but were you aware you could just use the display options for "Games Missing Media".
  15. That was a typo. So it should be "10" not "1". Also, the "boxesgamesview" I am not sure what you are seeing. The file is called BaxesContentView.xaml (Its the first file in the image attached). Either way though it does not matter since you are using a free version and you cannot do this process because Free version cannot apply custom LB themes.
  16. If you follow my steps in this post exactly it works. The user there also confirms he was able to remove the rounded corners.
  17. 1. See linked thread below. 2. If you were informed it was incomplete than you did not actually have a true full mame rom set (see #1). Read this guide.
  18. LB most certainly can send the command line to Mame to tell Mame to "run" Pac-Man. LB "recognizes" Pac-Man just fine with the correct region prioritized. Here it is imported along with all other clones/versions using North America as my region. The images below are a fresh full mame reimport just for this post.
  19. Keep in mind the appended numbering is not an order preference. It simply allows LB to use multiple images. So sometimes when you open LB it will switch to a different image. If you had "Yars Revenge-01" and "Yars Revenge-02" LB will randomly select one to use. The other files in the image you posted LB will not attach to the game as the file name has all that "junk" data following the game name. So you are safe with LB not randomly selecting them.
  20. The end goal is to make sure our users are sorted. If you have any issues getting it to work just post back here and let us know.
  21. Its the one I linked in my second post. Edit: Looks like Faeren posted it as well.
  22. You are explaining it well. This already exists. The one specific theme I linked does what you want. Just download it. Put your videos in the \Videos folder for that Startup theme. Here it is in action. I even used one of your videos. Startup.mp4
  23. That is what I figured you were asking and my point still stands that this is already possible. I made one for myself that plays the console boot up video or if a platform does not have one plays a platform specific video. If you looked through the link I first sent you would have seen someone even posted a theme they made to play startup platform videos. You can just swap your videos for the ones provided.
  24. This plugin is 6 years old. It likely is not updated to work with current versions of LB.
  25. Unless I am really misunderstanding what you are asking this has been possible for several years now. We have a bunch of themes that can show a splashscreen as the game is loading showing a range of items like videos, game details, and even controller layouts. https://forums.launchbox-app.com/files/category/31-startup-themes/
