Here is a collection of a little over 100 arcade marquees for the turbo grafx 16. The marquees out there were a little cluttered for my tase and didn't highlight the game enough. This is my first attempt at making some marquees so they're a little basic. I think they came out okay, but I'll need to go back and update them at somepoint as many of them have compression artifacts. Regardless, it's nice to have some alternatives, and overall I think they look okay.,-

I have a collection of over 200 NES Marquees. The marquees out there were a little cluttered for my taste, and they don't stretch to fit my marquee well. So I tried to make my own. My photoshop skills are very basic and I used AI liberally (gasp), so I hope I'm forgiven for this sin. Regardless, I think they came out okay. My own marquees resolution is 1920 x 340 so these marquees look best on this resolution. Hope someone finds this useful. -

This is a collection of around 900 arcade marquee's for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive. A lot of the marquees out there were a little cluttered (to my taste at least) and didn't stretch to my marquee very well (1920x340). So I decided to try my hand at it. My photoshop skills are very basic, but I thought it came out okay for my skill level. There's a subtle CRT screen effect that adds a nice retro effect. The lens blur effect is kind of cool when looking at the marquee at a distance. Hopefully others find this useful -
Apple II bezel.png View File I was disappointed the Mr Retrolust's excellent overlay pack didn't include the Apple IIe computer. So I tried to make my own. My photoshop skills are strictly amateur, but I think this is a passable first attempt. Would love some feedback on how to improve this. Most of the Atomiswave marquees in Emumovies are generic and no fun. In addition my Marquee monitor has a weird aspect ratio (1920x340), So I collected a bunch, resized them, and even created a bunch of new ones to fit my monitor better. Hopefully these are useful to others.-

This is a pretty niche project that took way longer than I wanted it too. I have an arcade cabinet with a monitor for marquee with 1920x340 resolution. The Naomi marquee's are trapezoidal in nature and don't fit well on such a monitor. In addition, most of the marquee images on the internet are of poor quality. Consequently I decided to make my own marquee's. For the most part I would try to grab a logo and some artwork and call it a day. it turned out to be easier said than done for too many of these. My photoshop skills are very amateur so I was very liberal with generative AI. Since these are "fanart" marquees I thought submitting them here would be more appropriate than uploading to the game database as I didn't want to confuse people. Hope this collection is useful to those with arcade cabinets. Edit: I accidentally included some Sammy Atomiswave images. Sorry for the confusion. I'm going to be uploading the Atomiswave collection separately. -
Just to clarify, I was asking about a platform for the Tiger handheld LCD games specifically (not everything published by Tiger). There's already a Nintendo Game and Watch Platform, so there's a precedent for including LCD games. Tiger game.com is a different platform altogether and shouldn't be lumped together with the Tiger LCD games. A bunch of the Tiger electronics LCD titles that have already been "simulated" in MAME have also already been added to the Launchbox database (see Double Dragon) under the Nintendo Game and Watch platform. I think that lumping the Tiger titles and Nintendo titles under Nintendo Game and Watch is not proper. You can do one of the following: relabel the "Nintendo Game and Watch" platform as something like "Handheld LCD titles" and then include all LCD titles; you can have a separate platform for the Tiger LCD titles as they were arguably just as important to the LCD genre as Nintendo was; or you can exclude all LCD games completely as many would argue that they are toys. Seeing how many Tiger titles are already simulated in MAME and have already made it in to the database, I don't think it's too much to ask for a separate platform

Custom sorting ability for different playlists?

Duh. it was right in front of me. thanks! -
Most of the tiger electronic LCD games seem to be under the Nintedo Game and Watch platform. I think Tiger is important enough to warrant it's own platform (not Game.com). What do people think?

The retrolust bezels for MAME are pretty straigtforward; however, the bezels for retroarch are little bit more confusing to set up. I can apply the bezels okay, but I'm having trouble changing the aspect ratio and the position of the game screen. Apologies for creating a separate thread. The retrolust post is like a million pages long, and it was difficult to wade through them

This was kind of shocking to me, but the Contra arcade theme that's in Emumovies appears to be the NES theme. It looks like there's a proper Hyperspin theme, but I can't seem to find the correct file in the hyperspin forums, so I decided to make my own. Maybe I've missed something obvious, but I thought I'd put this out there in case others have been just as flummoxed as I have been. -
I was hoping to be able to find a customized sorting solution for different playlist. For example, under Mario collection I would like the titles to be sorted according to platform under big box. If I edit the sort title it applies the edit globally and not just to the playlist. Anybody have any ideas to to do what I'm trying to do?

Launchbox seems to hang when I tried to update my library's metadata. I have about 45000 games, and I periodically update metadata about once every two months or so. Usually I start in the morning, and its done when I come back from work. Lately, launchbox seems to hang and the end stages. It seems to be stuck on "finishing up". Usually I give it a few hours before giving up and forcing launchbox to close. Thoughts?

It's always the obvious things. Looks like Nvidia released a driver update on the day of the problem and updating drivers seemed to fix it

any ideas?

Help. I got a new 49 inch super-ultrawide monitor (5120x1440p); however, it seems like Big Box doesn't like this. (see image) This is theme independent. I tried about half the themes without any luck. Am I stuck with this for now?

Creating a batch file in dosbox and then having launchbox point to it fixed it. Simple as that
